There's been loads of them, and I mean loads of them throughout Kaiju history, so now you can tell about your favs!

And if you by some chance don't get what the subject is, pretty much post your favorite military vs. Kaiju scenes ;)

There really are a lot, the first few that came to mind hat I liked most were the tanks being melted by Godzilla in Mothra and KK, the whole military base assault by Godzilla in KK vs G, The battle with the Super X 2, when the saucers in Monster Zero were brought down, and Gigantis coming on the shore of Osaka with missiles flaming through the sky at him, and as if that wasn't bad enough news for them, Anguirus shows up only moments later.

My favorite millitary scene goes to the Millitary base being attacked by Goji in KK V.S G.

The massacre at the docks in Godzilla 1985 was quite impressive.

The duel with the Super-X One- especially when Goji gets back up and chases it.

GINO tricks the helicopters (yes, a GINO moment made my list).

Well... I like'em all. But if I had to chose one, it would be "Godzilla and Mothra: The Battle for Earth." Its the one that supposed to "change Godzilla's direction." From the first moment when we hear a humm of the vehicle turning its turrets, its non-stop action. The music and the intensity of the attack get my attention. Soon, its just the maser jets and they put a terrific fight. (And I love the music!:D )

If Kong had taken down more airplanes at the Empire State Building, I'd be on it. (And also if we hadn't seen the two pilots. It would have been easier to root for Kong since the enemy would be shown as faceless. Though it is nice to see Cooper and Shoesdak make their cameo.;) )

Let's see.....

The navy scene in Godzilla vs. Biollante really takes it. Not only is the model work really well done, but the real footage of navy ships and helicopters added into the mix work very well.

Also, I like Godzilla's confrontation with the maser tanks in Sapporo from Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah. This is the one occasion that the masers seemed extremely powerful; the explosions they created were big enough to nearly block Godzilla from view! And, the fact that Godzilla withstood them without even being phased is a true testament to his power.

The Giant Scorpion vs. the military in "The Black Scorpion" is deffinetly one of my favorites. Godzilla vs. The Navy in "Godzilla vs. Biollante" is one of the best to date. The Gappas vs. the military in "Gappa" was plain awesome, and one of the biggest kaiju vs. the military scenes ever did!

Anything from Godzilla 1985.

The two Maser Planes vs. Godzilla in "Godzilla and Mothra".

Battleships vs. GMK Goji. That just seemed really cool to me.

[THE ONE AND ONLY]

"The Hulk vs. the military" in HULK. Although not exactly kaiju, it comes pretty damn close.

There was an episode of Superman entitled "The Promethian" in which a
kaiju sized android, that powers itself by drawing upon heat sources butts heads with the military in some impressive sequences.

With the Big G himself, one that I didn't mentioned here was his battle with the planes in GODZILLA 1985. But probaly more impressive than that one was all the military campaigns against the Kaiju King in Godzilla vs. Mothra(1963). The two highlights of that one was the Artificial Lightning Attack used againts the monster. The other standout was the Americans joining the fight with thier new Frontier Missle. Both these wondefully scored by Akira Ifukibie himself.

-Godzilla vs. The Military on that beachhead. Just presents a very skilled and experienced military attacking Godzilla... as if they've done this a lot.

-Gamera 2-
-Gotta be the attack on the Queen Legion. Just when those Sherman tanks fire off in rapid precession... gives me goosebumps of excitement.

-Godzilla 1998-
-GINO/Zilla vs. The Helicopters... yeah a really cool scene.
