The LOTR Fire Demon is called a Balrog. Most people know that...
I voted Godzilla
EDIT: I see the Balrog was earlier on the list, but you ended up having a second listing here...

Thanks! I removed the second reference. BTW, you can make MULTIPLE SELECTIONS on ALL FOUR of these polls. ;)

I like that. That way I'm not torn apart by classics or the big G(s)

I'd like to add the Graboids to mine, I think I forgot them.

Nope. Your vote for them is in there. I think the ones everyone voted for will show up in italics also.

I don't want to sound like a stupid fan, but personally, I still think Godzilla takes the cake of 'Movie Monsters.'

In my humble opinion, I find 'King Kong' not being as interesting, nor engaging. I also don't find 'Dracula' as a 'Movie Monster.' Why is he included in the list?

I do reccomend Jason Vorhees, however.

Monsters are also abominations; the unusual and abnormal. A guy who sucks blood, can turn into a wolf or bat, is undead, etc. is pretty unusual! Drac might have his origins in literature (if not folklore) but he has been the subject of a good number of films.
You mention Jason. My favorite of that lot is Michael Myers as he just seems spookier; "the devil incarnate" as the good doctor said. The ending of his first film really set the tone of the character IMO. Not as "flashy" as Freddy but he sure gets the job done! :D
