This is part of the competition discussed in the Fic awards: A possibility? (http://www.kaijuphile.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6547) topic. Nominate your favorite TOHO fan fic from the forum and list it here, along with a link to the tale.
There are four other categories so consider candidates for them also.

On a Distant Shore (http://www.kaijuphile.com/forums/showthread.php?t=857) by Doug Wood. Once again, Doug has taken a familiar kaiju theme and what WE see in the Tohoverse and gone beyond; his stories reminding me of the classic TWILIGHT ZONE and Rod Serling on more than one occasion! ;)
An exciting, action-packed tale from the depths of space is Planet X: The Creation of Gigan (http://www.kaijuphile.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6549), another "springboard" no doubt, but required reading in the meanwhile!

I would like to nominate Angilas' Planet X=the creation of Gigan, and Eternal Mothra's The Return of Battra, and Godzilla vs Modra stories. As well as Overinthusiastic Pirate's All the Monsters in the World.

I'd like to nominate MirrenDono's Godzilla vs. the Rodans (http://www.kaijuphile.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5463). A really good Showa-esque fic.
And I can't forget UltraGojira2004's Godzilla Jeopardy! (http://www.kaijuphile.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3529) fics. Howl-larious! You don't usually see comedies here! :intears: :intears: :intears:

I would like to nominate KAMERUS88's Mothra: Battle in the Void. I would also like to nominate Mecha74's The Godzilla Chronicles part 2: Journey through Middle Earth and The Godzilla Chronicles part 3: Bringing the house down. All three of this stories are spectacular, they are among a few of my favorites on here!!

Ralph Carpender's Godzilla: Time War.
extremely good story, what with the time traveling, timelines, everything. by the end, its all tied together, and makes perfect sense.

I'd like to nominate myself. That is Book One of the Monster Wars trilogy, Cry Havoc. It introduces my little monsterverse and serves as a springboard to the battle of the gods. Raptor has called the ultimate standalone fic.
