Which Gamera foe suffered the most brutal defeat?

Anyways, I looked it over, and I gotta say Barugon. Here's a list of how they all die though-

Barugon- Bitten on the neck, blood gushing from there, then as Gammy is still latched onto his throat pulls into into the lake and drowns him

Gyaos- Pulled into a vulcano

Viras- Slowly frozen to death

Guiron- Gets his head blasted in half by an uber rocket

Jiger- Gets her head impaled

Zigra- Burned to death by Gammy's fire after being out in the sun for God knows how long

Heisi Gyaos- Gets his entire head blasted off, and then his whole body disintigrated by a huge explosion

Legion- Blown to nothing by the Mana Beam

Irys- Burned away to nothing by Gamera's Fire Fist


Yeah, Heisi Gyaos and Guiron have nasty ones too, but I think Barugon takes the cake. Not only was it grisly and sickening, but he had to endure it for at least over a minute and through intense agony and discomfort

I think Guiron.Barugon had nasty Death,but I still give it to the poor Victim of the Uber Rocket(whe need a Guiron Smile).

Barugon's was slow and painful but Guiron got his brains blown out- literally! I never saw Jiger so I'm not sure though getting your head impaled doesn't sound like a jolly old time.

My vote goes to the Heisei Gyaos. They died quickly, and embarassingly easily.

Especially the little dead one at the start of Gamera 3...

Umm well I didn't know where to put it, so I just picked other. I think the Jiger spawn inside of Gamera died probably the worst way, well in my book any way. I can't believe they tried to aim these shows at kids. The monsters die such horrible deaths. :O

I say the Gyaos, they die really fast, and they get killed in large numbers also.

In Gamera 3, the Gaos that is first shot down. Gamera casually walks over to it. One of it's eyes is popped out and it is badly burned. That guy was in a world of SH*#. and gamera walked over and finished him off. That would suck.

I say Baru. I can only imagine how much being drowned sucks, but being drowned and having your throat torn into by two LARGE tusks?!

I mean, in Guiron's case, at least his death was quick. Some of the deaths like Legion's and Guiron's were quick, so they didn't have to endure the pain for long...

I think Hesei Gyaos and Legion had the most painful death.

At least Legion died quicker than Baru did.. He had to endure more suffering :(

I say Barugon, because he also suffered those gruesome burns from having his own ray reflected back at him. :(

showa Gyous has my vote. He was bitten on the neck and dragged to the bottom of a volcano. Burned alive into a crisp and finally to nothing! Ouch!:hgyaos:!
Atleast Gamera cant be hurt from such high temperatures and lava! He eats it for crying out loud! He's pretty tuff!

Jiger. Gets a stone idol staved through her skull. Then said idol when the wind blows through it, produces a howl that that imobilizes Jiger. ANd I'm guessing from the reactiuon of her spawn when it slowly died it isn't pleasant to any of her species. To top it off, that sound is still going as Gamera carries her back to the island echoing through her head. A slow and painful end to Monster-X.

My namesakes defeat may not have been the most brutal, but it was the most humiliating.

Zedus had the most humiliating defeat, got beaten by a Junior Rookie Gamera after having had him on the ropes for most of the battle. ice burn

For me it's a toss between Jiger, Barugon and Guiron. Showa Gamera was a weird guy... all kooky and crazy and loveable, yet had this disturbing sadistic side. Like if Big Bird spontaneously murdered people while on his show. He gives Jiger cranial impalement with a blunt stone whistle (that's gotta hurt) playing kaiju lawn darts. He bites out Barugon's throat and drags him underwater to drown. Guiron gets his head blown up by having a rocket jammed into it.

And the thing that always amused me about the brutality of the Showa Gamera series was that it was aimed towards children.
