I was watching Godzilla vs Hedorah yesterday, and I noticed that the kid almost always knew when Godzilla was coming. Is this kid a precursor to the psycic Mimi in the Heisei series? He even has visions of Godzilla and him coming (ex. Mt Fuji). Weird huh?
Also, who are those weird people we see just sitting in the bushes during the Mt. Fuji scene? they are adults, but they just have these zombie like blank faces and don't say or do anything the entire time but stare. Has anyone else noticed this?

Hmm interesting I never thought of it that way. About those people hiding in the bushes I've always wondered what they were doing. Do they represent something? I have no idea why they were there.

You know, I was going to ask this myself but I kept forgetting. The feeling I got, is that they represented the dead.

Yes. It seems like they were more or less the past generation, which looks at the foolishness of the youngsters on Fuji. That or the dead angle. Either works out.

Well as for Ken Yanno (Kenny?), he does seem to have a link towards Godzilla. We never hear the word psychic used and I feel that our young friend would not use that term but yeah, you could call him psychic. As for the people watching this... I too have noticed this.In his review for the film. Anthony Romero of Toho Kingdom has said that maybe Mr Banno was commenting on the old generation despairing over the new...
As for myself, I do not understand their presence. To some degree, that merely adds to my experience with the strangest Godzilla film ever. :p

Well Godzilla vs Hedorah is an odd film anyway, so I wouldn't take much notice or try to unwravel the mystery behind it.
