Mansquito!! (Newest Sci-Fi Original)

I can't wait for this Saturday. Sci-Fi Channel's gonna be showing a new, and extra cheesy, original movie. Seems to channel the old forefathers of B-Movie Human Monster Cinema, like Manster, Monster on Campus, Alligator People, She-Creature and whatnot. I'm just gonna watch it for the cheese factor.

Apparently the story's about a dude whose becoming half man... half mosquito. Don't ask me how... I just saw the commercial today.

I'm gonna have to write this down, to make sure I see... THE MANSQUITO!!!

I may make a special review for it as well. :sly:

I don't like to admit it, but this was a Sci-fi Original I actually enjoyed :laugh:

Mosquito is on Sci-Fi again this evening. They showed it earlier I believe. Must be a day to pay homage to those little pains in the neck: mosquitoes!

First off let me say this will end up being another movie I defend until my death...

As you can tell, I enjoyed it. Great plot, originality, decent acting, etc. All though I would have designed the Mansquito a bit different.

I have to admit it too... while it certainly isn't the greatest movie ever made... it certainly looked alot better than previous SCI FI Originals and the make up effects of the mansquito in question were pretty cool.

But it still has plot holes, silly character inconsistancies, and major HERO'S DEATH EXEMPTION abuseage. That and the handy dandy "Magic Radiation" plot device from the 50's and 60's is brought back into play. YIPPEE!!! :D

Definately one of the better Sci-Fi Original Movies. Might be possible signs of gradual improvement.

Oh and did you catch the commercial preview for that upcoming Sci-Fi Original with Bruce Campbell? GROOVY!! :sly:
