Is the ring two a kaiju movie? In my opinion it doesn't have anything close to kaiju...

It's based on a Japanese movie and the main threat is a ghost/zombie/thing. That may not technically be a kaiju, but many "Japanese monster" fans, books, sites, etc lump the Yokai films and Japanese ghost movies with the others. It was close enough IMO for me to post the thread.

Sorry that bothered you so much you had to complain about it.

It didn't bother me, I just didn't see Sadako as the kind of Japanese production that would destroy cities and fight monsters, that's all....

Kaiju means "strange beast". There's nothing in the definition about destroying cities or fighting monsters.

What kind of strange beast wouldn't want to destroy cities or fight monsters?

Looks like the kaiju in the Ring Two missed that day in monster class.

Meh, point proven. I PERSONALLY don't see Sadako as a beast, but I suppose it can be interpereted in many ways, and there is no need to continue this argument.
