I am making some stories More inspired by old atomic horror movies than toho with a nice X-files style conspiracy thrown in just for fun. I have have come up with several intersting kaiju and am planning on making more.
Some things
as you will see in my stories as they get poasted that people call kaiju G's, Which is short for gargantuan.
Second I tried to be as close to nature as possible. Not allot of kaiju will have beams in my stories.
They will typicaly also have Lighter weights maybe a couple thousand tons.
Squamata
Height: 53 meters (173 feet)
Length: 78 meters (255 feet)
Weight: 2,809 Tons
Powers/Weapons: Sharp Claws, Horns, 300 foot long tongue which is Adhesive and Electrified (500,000 Volts), Can slap and grapple with its tail. Able to turn invisible via chromataphores on skin (Basically a chameleon which can perfectly and instantly mimic its background) Can re-grow lost limbs like many lizards has limited regenerative abilities.
Classification: Mutant aberration of a chameleon.
Combat Style: Squamata prefers ambush from the safety of its chameleon coloration. Lashing out with its tongue to shock the heck out of its prey. Than the giant chameleon enters combat and begins biting, grappling and scratching with its formidable natural attack. Squmala prefers not to eat large things basically is he cant down it in a bite or two than he isn’t interested.
Appearance: Squamata appears to be a cross between a Jackson’s chameleon and a Tyrannosaurus only much larger. 3 huge horns jut from Squamata’s face. His coloration appears to be whatever his surroundings tend to be. His tail is long and agile able to manipulate objects with a fair amount of articulation.
History/Origin: Long ago in the 70’s a cargo ship was carrying nuclear waste over Tanzania and was shot down by gorilla forces wishing to gain control of nuclear materials. The resulting spill polluted the area poisoning plant and animal life for miles around. The gorilla also grew sick. But the radiation didn’t have time to kill them off. One by one the gorillas were stalked and eliminated by a skilled hunter with the ability to turn invisible. The gorilla leader called for a general S.O.S. over the radio but before the Special Forces unit could reach them he was already killed.
The Special Forces unit sent in to retrieve the radioactive materials also met with several casualties Only two people survived. A civilian reporter and one sergeant Hutch. The reporter went insane and Hutch sold his story to the studios. However the Government in Tanzania Forced the sergeant to change the story around for the purposes of national security. The movie did well in the box office but barley resembled the story from which it spawned.
Local scientists began searching for this mysterious creature. Local Superstitous types Dubbed the creature Sqamata The Ghost. The beast has been “Spotted” on several occasions They never actualy found the beast but signs of it’s having been present. Other evidence Collected over the last 20 years has proven that the creatures is growing at a steady rate which seems to be slowing down.
[font=Times New Roman][size=3]The rich and famous pay hundreds of thousands of dollars for clothes made from the shed skin of Squamata which continue to randomly change color for several years after being shed. Also Squamata Much like the Chupacabra of Mexico has a sort of cult following and many peddlers make a healthy profit off of Squamata merchandise. Indeed Squamata is the media whore of the Gargantuan world.

Ahhh...very cool. Not only the monster (who seems to have quite an array of impressive powers), but I also like the cultural fashion aspect. I guess it's often overlooked, but should a 70' tall monster actually exist, it would most likely impact the entire society (and not just from all the destroyed buildings.) I could even imagine a PETA-type group protesting kaiju cruelty, throwing paint on those with Squamata coats and whatnot. ;)
Anyways...keep 'em coming!

Next up is behemoth the gorillaphant.

Here is the next one Beheamoth the gorillaphant
Behemoth
Height: 61 meters (200 feet tal)
Weight: 3,721 tons
Powers/Weapons: Tusks, Sonic trumpeting attack (deafening). Club like appendage at tip of trunk. Incredible physical strength (even for a gargantuan)
Classification: Monstrous Hybrid Gargantuan.
Combat Style: Behemoth Smash! Behemoth is skilled at wrestling and pummeling. Not very sophisticated tactics.
Appearance: Imagine a terribly thick (and very bald.) Gorilla with the head of an elephant. The elephant’s trunk has a Spiked club-like formation on its tip. The overall color of behemoth is a very dark Grey.
History/Origin: Behemoth is the result of a secret African labs attempt to genetically engineer a hybrid creature basically to create a superior pack and labor animal. It would have the opposable digits and generally superior body shape of a gorilla and the size and strength of an elephant. However the results where unstable and most of the hybrids perished. However one anomaly survived and escaped into the wild and eventually grew much larger than both of its base creatures. The creature dubbed behemoth by the missionaries who first discovered it quickly learned of its aggressive nature.
Some scientists speculate that the anomaly occurred because of a chemical leak in the laboratory. Others speculate that the Gorilla DNA was from a sample taken from an abnormally large deceased specimen in New York city in 1933. No one can say for sure as both are equally likely. All attempts to capture Behemoth have proven disastrous. Generally the creature just wanders about and eats trees and the occasional Wildebeest as a dietary supplement.
Behemoths flesh however has proved impervious to most conventional military weapons including high yield bombs and missiles though no weapons of mass destruction have been implemented. Also poisons have proven ineffective as well.
Behemoths only known attack on a civilized area was in an African military base. As it happened several soldiers got drunk and began harassing Behemoth with several tanks which behemoth angrily followed back to HQ. Their Behemoth began to engage the forces there. The conflict lasted only several minuets but the base was decimated.

Ok i wouldent want the reptile army to eat clevland
Ladnar
Length: 50 meters (164 feet)
Wingspan: 115 meters (376 feet)
Weight: 2,000 tons
Powers/Weapons: Supersonic flight mach six, Rapid Peck (Imagine a woodpecker pecking a tree and you have a good idea of this Ability.), Wind storms, Superior vision (Can see about 1000 time better than an eagle). Lightning like reflexes and agility.
Classification: A monstrous bird Gargantuan created by various Avian Genes.
Combat Style: When engaging smaller foes Ladnar will usually knock them over with a hurricane wind. Than simply eat them when stunned. Against larger foes Ladnars tactics are also simple, Land on downed opponent and peck the holy hell out of the enemy. Ladnar can easily dodge most attacks due to his awesome agility and speed.
Appearance: Ladnar appears to be a Giant harpy eagle with a pointy woodpecker like beak.
History: a disgruntled scientist created Ladnar. The scientist Dr. Ladnar was fed up with big businesses mistreatment of nature. So the doctor created Ladnar, as sort of natures vengeance towards man. The creature had all the best and worst features of several bird species. Namely the Shrike, The harpy eagle, The woodpecker, the Hummingbird and the long extinct Andogolornus. This combination combined with some gene tampering made for one horrific monster. A flying beast larger than a whale with the metabolism of a humming bird and the general cruelty of a shrike. Dr. Ladnar had very little time to regret his mistake as his monster made a quick snack of him once he attempted to capture it. With him died all information on the specifics of Ladnars creation as well as a brilliant mind in the field of what is a budding branch of Generics and biology.
In sort of a Frankenstein moniker The media dubbed the creature Ladnar’s monster which eventually simply became Ladnar. Ladnar is a menace to the Eco system as it needs to eat about 3 times its body weight each day to keep healthy and Ladnar eats anything organic but prefers meat and ultimately prefers meat that can scream. Ladnar has tried to make a meal of behemoth on one occasion. However the cruel beast failed to kill the Elephant hybrid.
No military force can even hope to shoot Ladnar down as the monstrous bird is as agile as a humming bird and faster than any fighting craft. Ladnars keen vision and awesome reflexes easily allow the bird beast to dodge even the fastens of projectiles With the possible exception of lightning. The army is trying to utilize such an attack against Ladnar but controlling nature has proven tricky at best.
Ladnars cruelty is well documanted. Sometimes the monster tortures its prey like a cat dose a mouse. Giving the creature hope just before decimating the hapless meal. Other times Ladnar will simply torture smaller creatures. One account of Ladnar pinning an elephant under one great claw than pulling off each leg and devouring it while the creature still lives. Ladnar than proceeded to pull off its trunk and watch it twitch until it died from blood loss. This cruelty seems to be instinctive as Ladnar doesn’t seem to be any smarter than a normal bird. Though it is undeniable that the Monstrous avian has a cruel cunning that serves it well.
feel free to comment. Next week I will post the stats on the mutated horse shoe crab called Mega Limulus terror of the mexican coast.

I thought about a giant evil starfish but it seemed sort of done i beleive that i have seen a movie with one. i know some
of my monsters arent 100% origonal what with my vague kong reference in Beheamoths origin. but for the most part the kaiju are 90% origonal.

yes most of these are very original. Nice work I must add.
for some afdvice, mutant animals that NO ONE would expect are good candidates for monsters. (mutant sea cucumber anyone? telekinetic sea urchin?)

This week two monsters for the price of one!
AS always feedback is apriceated.
Mega Limulus
Height: 40 meters (131 meters)
Length: 80 meters (262 meters)
Weight: 3,600 tons
Powers/Weapons: flexible Slashing sword like tail, Pinchers, High degree of resiliency from armored shell.
Classification: Mutated Crustacean/Arachnid Kaiju
Combat Style: A Mega Limulus attack with its tail which is something like a flexible sword blade. The creature isn’t a particularly clever adversary but it’s awesome staying power and devastating physical attacks make for a dangerous adversary.
Appearance: Mega Limulus resembles a colossal cross between a fiddler crab and a Horse shoe crab. It stands erect but hunched over. It has two pinches one large and one small. Its shell is a rusty red color.
History/Origin: Mega Limulus’s origins are a mystery the crablike monster had a short reign of terror. It was slain during a test of the ogre weapon platform prototype known as the troll. Mega limulus posed a great threat because of its reproductive cycle which potently made for quite a population boom scientists speculated that within nine years their might be over eighty billion Mega-limulus.
The theory was that unlike other gargantuan Mega Limulus could simply deposit its eggs on a beach during the normal horse-shoe crab mating season potentially fertilizing its eggs, which these could have potentially been thirty thousand of. However both the monster and it fertilized eggs were destroyed
Though strange sonar readings indicate that at least one egg may have survived, though no visual conformation has been presented.
Hrug
Height: Varies
Length: Varies
Weight: 1,300 tons
Powers/Weapons: Impervious to physical attack, Engulf enemies, Good swimmer, Able to absorb Oil and Oil like substances to heal its self and grow.
Classification: Mutant bacteria Gargantuan
Combat Style: Hrug will simply engulf and suffocates Opponents. Though he is just as likely to pass over them. The great presser generated by Hrug is enough to crush non Gargantuan sized creatures.
Appearance: Hrug appears to be a hideously large Oil slick with the consistency of a thick gravy. Pesudopods of Oily Material Slash about in random directions as the creature moves tasting the air for Oil products.
History/Origin: Hrug is the Byproduct of Oil slick bacteria ingesting contaminated Oil. Several years ago An English Oil tanker spilled its load over the spot where a Soviet nuclear sub crashed some decades before. Researchers claim only a couple bacteria were mutated but this proved enough to create a colony that behaves as one organism. Sense that time Hrug has shown up at every major Oil spill cleaning the spot and of course growing larger each spill. On one occasion Hrug has ventures onto land where he attacked an Oil refinery in order to eat. If such a creatures were to make it to one of the larger Oil producers such as the Arab nations than The sludge monster could in theory cripple the worlds economy.

Well I havent read all of it yet but from what I do know you seem to have a talent with writing.
So far it seems really good but I must point out a couple things.
1. some scenes seem to be a bit rushed. Particularly the action scenes, Maybe try slowing down, giving more detail. Tell more of what the characters think of watching ladnar decimate their squad. The dream on the other hand, That was masterfully done.
2. you seem to be slipping somewhat in where one sentence ends and another begins.
3. I believ hit and tun soldiers are spelled guerilla or something along those lines.
Other than those, great work! You did an effective job of making ladnar scary.

My least origonal kaiju yet
The Nest
History/Origin: The nest is the result of Bulldog ant eating contaminated vegetable matter in the texas area. The wood was used in an experiment with growth hormones in order to create larger yielding fruit trees. However as the insect population devoured the trees it proved to fruitless an endeavor. Not to mention the strange abnormalities that developed in the insects that ate the trees. Several abnormally large insects have been reported though none of Gargantuan size, That is except for The Nest, The nest feasted on the dead wood which was left long after the project. The resulting monsters were about as large as a bus the nest would terrorize the countryside for mile around eating whatever it could find.
The Texas state national guard were sent into the Nest to exterminate the infestation and managed to kill several workers with their flame throwers. However the warriors proved much more durable and the mission as a whole proved a failure. Sense that tome in the early 90’s 2 more Nests have appeared another in Texas and 1 in New-Mexico, Though the New-Mexico nest was decimated 2 years ago in a test of one of the ogre prototypes.
Worker
Length: 10 meters (33 feet)
Weight: 100 tons
Powers/Weapons: Pinchers, Constructs fortress, Signaling Irritant.

Appearance: Nest workers appear to be Gargantuan Bulldog ant with ghostly white bodies. Various strange organs float within their translucent exoskeletons.
Soldiers
Length: 20 meters (66 feet)
Weight: 400 tons
Powers/Weapons: Strong Pinchers, Constructs fortress, Signaling Irritant. Poisonous bite
Classification: Chemically altered bug Gargantuan.
Combat Style: Soldiers always start a combat by Spraying its Irritant pheromones and than swarm over its foe delivering bite after bite from its poison covered mandibles. Soldiers are fearless and fight to the death.

Queen
Length: 40 meters (131 feet)
Weight: 1,600tons
Powers/Weapons: Strong Pinchers, Acidic Signaling Irritant., Able to spawn more Nest members, Able to fly at mach 2 though not very nimbly.

Combat Style: The queen is almost always attended by several warriors and always start a combat by Spraying its Irritant pheromones which are also acidic to non Hive members. The queen Never fight unless pressed. The queen is more than capable of handling herself in a fight. She attacks by crushing smaller foes under her bulk and biting with her powerful jaws.
Appearance: The queen appears similar to a soldier except much larger and with wings. The queen possesses a large bulbous sack, though it slows her down she still has a great deal of mobility with it due to her great strength.
