Who would be interested in such a thing? Just like Rootsville you would chat on and on ONLY this time with Kaiju. Anyone can create some KAIJU stories, rather it would be about Godzilla or even Bagan would be up to you. What do you think? Raptor really likes the idea. If you guys like the idea me and Raptor can make such a thing possible.

Thanks
Matt Cookson

Im not 100% sure what it is your saying but the percent I do understand sounds like it would be a good idea.

Round robin/roleplaying where the story starts with a particular kaiju as its main focus. Whoever started a particular story could either use the monster's POV or have humans describe what's happening. Of course, including human characters would be a nice idea IMO as they can run from it, try to kill it, use it to their advantage, etc.
Probably the best way to explain it so anyone who would like to "demonstrate", have at it! We can always split the post(s) off into another story/topic as needed, maybe over to Kaiju LIT 101. If we get a whole bunch of kaiju tales of this nature, we can also set up a sub-forum just for them, a virtual "Monster Island Memoirs" if you will...

So it would be different from Kaiju Kronicles?

Godzilla vs Rodan is up Gorjirus.....Read the sentence before the story. You can control your own character or you can control a monster(What is the monster thinking......That type of stuff) Just have fun with it.

I just posted from Rodan's POV of the overflight. I also mentioned his mate but didn't give any details on her.
This leaves an OPENING for follow-up posts to take the story (and the character) in any direction they want. Often in these stories, the writer might leave a little note, saying "Don't kill off so-and-so. I have plans for him" or "Save the bad guy for me! I want to kill/fight/do something with him." This is a handy way to do let others know a little of your intentions if a separate DISCUSSION THREAD isn't available. The extra thread is a handy option for discussing the story as it develops and keeps such notes out of the main thread.
Cookson opened with a FIRST PERSON account and then went to THIRD PERSON where he becomes one of the characters "we" are watching as the story unfolds. Most people find writing in the third person easier and what we usually see but feel free to experiment a bit, especially if "you" are also in it!
These things are really fun IMO as you have no idea what is going to happen next!

Anyone can start a story if you want to. Remember if we can get enough people doing this we can have are own seperate part on the forums with these type of stories. :)

Those round robins should be moved to The Kaiju Khronicles RPG...
