I do have a question about it: While it is fictional, where do you all think it is/would be located?

That's that place in Godzilla vs. Biollante, isn't? If so next to Iraq, or somewhere in the middle east.

I would assume it's a stand-in for Saudi Arabia.

Well the just for fun Gurps Godzilla has this to say:


Republic of Saradia: A small Middle-Eastern country, noted for its oil reserves, bio-technology, and lack of arable farmland. It is also on the borderline of becoming a "terrorist" nation. Organizations within Saradia include the Saradia Institute of Bio-technology (capable of mature TL8 bio-tech), and the Saradia Oil Corporation, which is partly a front for their spy network. (In the real world, Saradia is the Al Ahsa region of Saudi Arabia.)

As the name suggests, its indeed a stand in for Saudi Arabia. We can see the signs are in Arabic, it has oil wealth, and that its said to be in the middle east. Its also quite sneaky in its employing guys like SSS9. (AKA, Sardian Agent)
