Space on Kaijuphile for Fan Videos and trailers?

I was just wondering if kaijuphile has or will have a spot for fan made music vids, trailers and such?

I've seen similar areas on other kaiju sites and was curious if this place would have something like that, since we've got this little forum area dedicated to such stuff.

I have no objection to such a section on the Fan Nest website. The only reason didn't have one before the switch to Kaijuphile was lack of space and bandwidth to host the files. We've had that for around a year now, but my attention to other site projects and lack of interest in such a section has kept it on the back burner.

What does everyone think about such a section? How many budding video creators are here on Kaijuphile (show of hands please)?

If interest is great enough, then I will put a plan in motion to get a Fan Videos section under construction, and it would greatly reflect the way Fan Art is handled as the gallery program can handle video files as well.

Thanks for bringing this up magical_man, and I hope to hear everyone's thoughts on the subject!

Of course it matters, and I would love to host them for you when they are ready. Give me a few weeks to get the section up and running, and then Fan Video will make its long overdue debut at the Fan Nest website. I'm sure if I build it, they will come (the video makers that is).

I've got a few fan music videos I've created if a forum section will appear I will definitly put them up.

I made GVP a while ago and was planning on doing a Gigaraptor X Gavantor trailer. After I get the other trailers I need to finish done.

I just made a fan trailer for GMK, and I am working on a weird movie with my Godzilla figures called THE POINTLESS, VIOLENT, AWESOME BATTLE! It is a practice film that uses stop motion and many other techniques. But, I have no way to get my footage on my XP, so no lazers or radioactive rays...:( Could someone tell me how to put VHS on to a computer and get it back?

Anyway, I love watching fan films and would love a fan-film section.

I'm up for such a section on the site! I enjoy watching fan trailers and the like, and if I had the money to get and editing program for my computer I'd be making trailers out the wazoo! So in do time, if this section does get put up, I'll be very supportive of it and hopefully add several of my own works of art:)
