Capcom vs SNK 2: Roost Fighter Tournament (date unknown)
This is actually the very first Roost Fighter tournament, though it was not at all in the same style as those after it. Instead, CPU-played, Colour Edited characters in Capcom vs SNK 2 were pit against each other in VS matches in the game. Actually, this "tournament" never got past the first round, and there are no records to piece together the details.

Notable Match-Ups: None
Winner: None

Tournament I (April-June 2004)

This was the very first Roost Fighter tournament to use the current Desumacchi style, if it's notable for nothing else. T1 used a three-person-team system, which seems unwieldy but was actually quite fun for many. As it was the first of its kind, it was very popular with the RF fans of that time. Unfortunately, all threads but one relating to it were deleted, so it is difficult to piece together all the details.

Notable Match-Up: Demon Eyes Parker vs Team Dashago (Dante, Shadow, Gorjirus)
T1 Winner: Team Dashago

Tournament II (May-September 2004)

After the success of the first tournament, it was decided that a second one would be held. This time, each character went solo, but this didn't spoil anyone's fun. Featuring a wide variety of characters, T2 was a thrill for RF fans, and it brought in some newer characters who missed out on the first tourney. The boss round in this tournament was directly linked to the plot of the third tournament.

Notable Match-Ups: Shadow (Alpha) vs Kato Yasunori; PyrasTerran vs Cole Deschain
T2 "Winner": Shadow (Alpha)
Actual T2 Winner: Oni Blight

Tournament III: Blood Harvest (September 2004-January 2005)

This tournament closely followed the same formula used for the 2nd tournament; however, it also brought in many new changes. Most noticeable were the advancing storyline, featuring RF2 character Oni Blight and the Orochi-Blooded destroying the Earth, and sets of 5 upgrades that each character would gain after winning a match. Once again, most of the previous tourney contestants participated, but more new challengers also showed up to take part. Despite all the nifty new features, however, this tournament bombed after the first few rounds. Almost nobody voted in the last few fights, and the winner - PyrasTerran - admittedly didn't get to bask in the glory he may have expected.

Notable Match-Ups: PyrasTerran vs Henry Venetta; Aragorn Strider 22 vs Lizardgeek; Seer235 vs GodofPH
T3 Winner: PyrasTerran

Tournament IV: Bloody Double (February 2005-August 2005)

For this tournament, it was back to basics. T4 reverted back to a tag-team system, like the first tournament, but allowed only two characters to a team. This tournament is notable for having a very strange - if not popular - publicity spot on the Kaijuphile boards. Perhaps keeping in tune with this wacky nature, the battlefields in T4 were bizarre and featured "usable" items for the fighters. Each team also received a "Team Technique" which allowed the teamed warriors to combine their strengths and powers into a single powerful attack or combo. However, even despite all this wackiness, T4 failed to make a huge splash into its middle rounds, but managed to come back to life with the last three. Making things wackier yet, Bloody Double may as well have been called "Bloody Deadlock" - in the first two rounds of the tournament, two matches deadlocked (tied) and there was a scramble to find people to take their place in the next round!

Notable Match-Ups: BS Digital Q & PyrasTerran vs Angilas & Henry Venetta; Godzillatron & Mecha-Rodan vs The Wykydtron vs Demon Eyes Parker
T4 "Winners": Shadow (Alpha) & Gorjirus
Actual T4 Winner: The Wykydtron

Tournament V: Flames of Revenge (???-???)

Tournament V continued to innovate in ways never before seen in the Roost Fighter series of tournaments. In particular, this is the first tournament to be hosted by two people, rather than just one: Shadow and DEP joined forces for this one. Tournament V is also the very first to implement a dice-battle system similar to the one used in the Daikaiju Desumacchi. As the tournament has not yet begun, further information is not yet available.
