Mercurial

Age: He doesn't age, but he has existed for around 80 years

Sex: Male

Personality: An almost souless creature. The only distinguisable personality trait is a bad temper. The only time he attacks is when somebody disturbs him.

Weapons: A paranormal M1 Carbine. This carbine was Mercurial's weapon when he was a soldier and it remains his weapon till this day. Mercurial can channel his time powers through it to shoot Quantam Force blasts in place of bullets.

Techniques/Powers:
Time Slowdown: Merc slows down all processes of time and gains super strength due to slowed effects of gravity.
Time Freeze: Merc freezes time and can fy due to effects of Gravity being frozen.
Time Travel: Merc can travel back and forth throughout time.
Chrono Force Energy: Mercurial gained access to a powerful energy that exists within the time stream. He can freely use this energy and its destructive power is unheard of. He can charge it up to release it in a large beam or shoot smaller blasts at rapid fire channeled through his Carbine.
Wormhole: Mercurial forms a wormhole that drops dinosaurs and other prehistoric fiends onto the battlefield.
Multiple Mercurial: Mercurial strikes the foe, travels back in time to strike the foe again, then travels back in time yet again to strike at the same moment, making it look like multiple Mercs are striking the foe at once.
Wormhole 2: Mercurial creates a wormhole through time above the opponent that will bombard them with energy from the Big Bang.

Background: John Mercurial was a young boy who always wanted to serve in the Navy. When he was old enough, he voulenteered for the Navy and worked hard as a recruit.

Eventually, John was selected to serve on the USS Elridge. The Elridge was used in the infamous Philadelphia expirament. The ship was tested to see if it could be rendered invisible and teleported. The ship and crew were shot through time and space.

The Elridge reappeared at the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard, but only briefly. Some of the crew were evacuated from the ship but the ship disappeared again before all of the crew could be evacuated, Mercurial among those stranded on the ship.

While most of the crew still on the ship died or went hopelessly insane, John absorbed the raw energy in the time stream and gained power of time from it. He ditched the ship when it reappeared briefly in a lake 20 years later and he has been a time drifter since then.

fighting Style: Mercurial will try to kill his opponent stealthily, often attacking in Time Slowdown and Time Freeze related attacks.

Appearence: Mercurial is a pale, walking corpse. He wears a torn Naval uniform from the 40's. His eyes are all black and all his hair has fallen out.

GodofPH

Age: 19

Sex: Male

Height: 6'5

Weight: 200 pounds

Appearence: Has green eyes, medium length untended blackish brown hair and wears a black AC-DC "Back In Black" T-shirt. Ripped jeans, aviator sunglasses and a digital watch complete his attire.

Personality: Cocky, selfish. Won't do anything unless it benefits him. Paranoid.

Weapons: Titanium baseball-bat, his Pyrokinesis

Techniques:
Fireball: PH shoots a fireball that can range from 200 to 1,000,000 degrees
Firewall: PH shoots a huge wall of flames at the opponent
Flame Stream: PH shoots out a constant stream of fire
Flameshield: PH shoots a huge sphere of fire that covers his body and burns/melts anything that comes too close.
Fireproof: PH cannot be hurt by fire
Super-Paranoia: When he uses this technique, he listens for any sound and will fire fireballs at anything he hears.
Human Torch Imitation: PH sets his whole body on fire and can fly like the Human Torch can. But his flames are hotter than the Human Torch's. This burns anything that gets too close.
Kaisairyu: PH conjures a 100 foot long firedragon which will help him fight. Kaisairyu can also be ridden on and is very strong physically.

Sacrificial Techniques
Spirit Fire: This is special pyrokinetic fire. It does no physical harm, but will "burn" the foe's soul. This technique's power is fueled by pieces of PH's own soul. This technique will weaken PH if used constantly.

Background:
As an infant, PH showed odd skills. Fires started wherver the child was left alone, yet no lighters or matches to be found. The government snatched the baby from its family and took it to a secret government facility. The scientists subjected the baby to many cruel expiraments to try to unlock its full pyrokinetic power.

At age 7, after years of the cruel expiramentation, the child escaped from the government lab.The child was foudn wandering the streets of a city and was put into an orphanage. The child was adopted by a rich investor, which would give rise to PH's cocky attitude over time. An old japanese man that lived not too far away sensed PH's powers and secretly brought him into training. PH gained full control of his power due to this man's training and learned special techniques as Kasairyu and Spirit Fire.

Jedi Kong

Age: Unknown

Sex: Male

Height: 19 feet, 8 inches

Weight: 38 tons

Appearence: Giant gorilla bearing a Jedi's robe. Has golden eyes along with his two dual-bladed lightsabers at his side.

Personality: Will start a fight with a Jedi's mind and strategy. But the more JK gets hurt, the more his discipline fades away and the more his ape madness takes over. When he goes into a rampage, he cannot use his force powers, and his saber skills become primitive and faulty.

Weapons: 2 dual bladed gold-colored lightsabers, The Force, Jedi- enhanced Gorilla Strength, Jedi Reflexes, Jedi/Gorilla super-endurance

Techniques:
Force Lightning: A blast of Force-driven electricity
Force Telekinesis: Telekinesis powered by the Force
Jedi Mind Trick: self explanatory
Force Camoflage: Jedi Kong uses the force to make himself completely indectable, his great body fades into the shadows and cannot be found under any circumstance.
Force Deflection: Using the Force, JK can deflect a blast of energy, no matter how big the blast. Larger blasts require more concentration though.
Force Whirlwind: JK makes a small cyclone of Force energy that can trap an opponent inside, rendering them unable to attack.
Force Speed: With help of the Force, Jedi Kong's speed is doubled, this power lasts 3 minutes before wearing off.
Force Strength: Jedi Kong uses help from The Force to double his physical strength. This power lasts 5 minutes.

Sacrificial Techniques
Ultimate Jedi Mind Trick: At the expense of his connection to the force being temporarily severed, Jedi Kong's Mind Trick becomes more effective than before. He can now bend the wills of the strong minded as well as the weak minded. He can also use this to bend the wills of multiple minds at once.
Super Force Lightning: This technique also temporarily severs JK's link to the Force. This blast of force lightning is more painful than ever, will bring any foe to its knees, begging for mercy. If this attack is used on a foe that is capable of a phsyical transformation, it can prevent them from transforming. If the attack is used on them when they are transformed, it will revert them back to their normal form.
Force Deflection Field: JK surrounds his body with the energy used in his Force Deflection attack and makes a protective barrier from energy. The downside to this is that he cannot use any other force powers while this attack is in use, but his sabers and physical attacks can still be used.
Force Storm: At the expense of his link to the force temporarily severed, Jedi Kong creates a large storm of Force Lightning that heavily damges any enemy within 10 meters.

Background:
A starship explosion above the capital city of Coruscant creates a wormhole that drops a certain giant simeon into the planetary metropolis. King Kong, lost and confused, began a rampage fueled by fear and confusion.

Kong was attacked by a squadron of Jedi, and a fight began to subdue the beast. After finding Jedi Mind Trick didn't work on Kong, the Jedi had to use raw combat to subdue Kong. Several Jedi fell, some of them eaten by Kong, before the beast finally was subdued.

Perhaps because of the Jedi that Kong ate, the presence of midichlorians were detected within the large simian. When Kong calmed down, the Jedi saw he was a gentle giant...maybe he could be trained to become a Jedi. After all, his mind was not weak like a normal wild beast. Kong befriended the Jedi and they began training him to be a Jedi himself. Kong showed great skill, he was able to create a golden lightsaber with the capability of two blades. What was an even bigger suprise, was that Kong was able to fluently wield 2 dual bladed sabers in battle.

All of this happened during The Great Hyperspace War, a time when the Sith numbered in the thousands and the Jedi were engaged in a bloody war to defeat them. The Jedi saw Kong as what may be able to turn the tide of war in their favor.

Kong and a squadron of Jedi were sent to Korriban to assist Jedi already stationed there in a battle against Sith forces. Kong and his Jedi allys charged into battle against the Sith...but it would end in disaster for all. Kong, being as large as he was, was an easy target for Sith forces and the simeon was pelted by laser blasts. Kong's Jedi discipline slowly started slipping away and the beast he formerly was began to resurface. Kong was driven into a hellish rage and he killed every being on that battlefield, including the Jedi that fought alongside him.

Seeing that they had failed to ultimately supress the rage within Kong, the Jedi excommunicated Kong from the Jedi entirely and left him at Korriban. The Sith lords, impressed by JK's strength and more imporantly, his anger, took Jedi Kong in. They taught him the ways of the Dark Side.

From that point on, the Sith would use Jedi Kong and his rage as their secret weapon against the Jedi. His Dark Side powers were very impressive because of his emotions, and he was a commanding presence on the battlefield.

Aboard a Flagship in a Sith starfleet, Jedi Kong was riding to his next battle, a quite nasty skirmish with Jedi Forces on Yavin 4. The flight went smoothely, until Jedi snuck aboard the ship and a battle ensued within it. Kong was driven to his rampage in this fight, and he accidentally caused fatal damage to the ship's fuel core. A great explosion ensued, and another wormhole was created. Kong was sucked into the wormhole, and it dumped him back here on Earth.

Arachnillan

Sex: Female

Height: 8 foot long legs, 3 foot long body

Weight: 250 pounds

Appearence: a silvery-metallic spider

Fighting Style/Personality: Arach views her foe as potential prey. She will first try ot ensnair them in her webs, but if that doesn't work she goes in close to use her venemous bite. Her exoskeleton has a reflective surface that reflects nearly all types of energy, excluding fire. He rexoskeleton is also very strong and is an excellent shield from physical attacks. She is also an excellent jumper and is speedy.

Techniques:
Leech Strand: Arach fires a strand of web at her foe which she can leech health through. Can drain electrical power right out ofa machine if this technique is used on one. She can also swing/climb on this strand of web.
Venom Bite: Arach bites her foe and injects a very potent toxin in the foe's body. This toxin can make machines malfunction if it evaporates into vapor. The toxin evaporates almost instantly if exposed into the open air. She can also drain a foe's health through a bite and heal herself in the process.
Refelctive Hyde: Arach's silvery exterior can reflect almost any type of energy, excluding fire.
Venom Vapor: Arach spits her venom into the open air and it evaporates into a toxic fog. This fog is just as deadly as the venom bite and has the same effects if inhaled by the foe.
Spider Sense: Arach has very fast reaction capabilitys, similar to Spiderman's spider sense. Her body movement is also extremely fast. And, like all spiders, she can climb walls.
Web: Arach spins a web very quickly that the foe can get caught in. The strands of the web are almost transparent and are very hard to see. The web is extremely sticky and tough. The web also is flame-proof and reflects all types of energy.
Ball Web: Arach fires a ball-web net that can ensnare the foe. She usually goes in for a venom bite after ensnaring the foe with Ball Web.
Spider Jump: Arach has an excellent jumping ability, her best jumps exceed 5-Story buildings. Her jumps are also quite speedy.

Background: Sealed away thousands of years ago in an Ottoman Tomb, a eggsack exists that were supposedly containing evil beasts sent down upon Earth by Allah. The beasts were giant spiders that were impervious to all the Ottoman warrior's weapons. A priest managed to kill most of the spiders, but one remained. The preist considered it was Allah's will that these creatures were created, the last alive was taken away and sealed in an underground tomb. The tomb's wherabouts were unknown, except to a few people. The people who knew the location of the temple were slaughtered so they could never reveal the secret.

In Modern day Turkey, a construction company plans to build a city over a mysterious patch of land. The digging of the foundation reveals the entrance to the tomb. The next day, all of the construction workers were found dead with large bite marks on their bodys. Autopsys said they were poisoned, but no known animal had a bite like that...except spiders, but the bite was much too large to be a normal spider.

Throughout the course of the next months, people report finding dead animals with bite marks similar to those seen on the bodys of the construction workers. A few eye-witness reports came in of a metallic spider prowling the area at night. The spider phenomena was soon dubbed a Cryptid, and it earned the nickname Arachnillan. Arachnilan sightings continue to this day, and rumors exist that Arachnillan is female and may possibly lay eggs containing more of these spiders...

Chipolinchutli

Age: Ageless, though appears to be in his mid-teen years.

Sex: Male

Height: 5'10"

Weight: 170 pounds

Appearence: An aztec human male with ripped clothes and white, pupiless eyes.

Fighting Style/Personality: Once had a personality, but now he is a nearly soulless creature. He is tormented by his extreme amounts of power and aches to release it in any way. His power will deplete over time, and his physical power and storm powers gradually weaken over the course of a long battle. It takes a long time for his power to regenerate, but the process can be sped up if he is standing in a deep pool of water. He can also regain some power by absorbing a storm. Chipo's powers are stronger when he is standing in water, and being hit with electricity can restore lost power. Aside from being a walking hurricane himself, he can also summon storms. He can summon Hurricanes, Hailstorms, Thunderstorms, Blizzards, Monsoons, and Tornados.

Weapons: Tlatecolotl: an Aztec sword/club that he can channel his power through. Tlatecolotl can release storm winds, summon lightning, and cause floods. The wood that Tlatecolotl was created from was blessed by Mextli and is extremely strong. The rocks protruding from the side of the sword were drenched in Quetzalcoatl's blood.

Techniques:
Hurricane Strength: Chipo has physcial strength equal to the destructive power of a hurricane. Its estimated he can lift nearly 60 tons. He also has excellent physical agility and physical prowess due to this.
Its a Twister!: Chipo can conure small tornados and they rage all around the battlefield.
Atlaua's Wrath: Chipo unleashes a flood onto the foe.
Atlacamani's Wind: Chipo unleashes a barrage of strong hurricane winds onto the foe.
Hand of Tlaloc: Chipo raises his hand into the air, and waves it around. The hand starts gathering a ball of lightning to be thrown at the foe. The longer he waves his hand around, the bigger and more powerful it will be.
Mictlan's Call: Chipo traps the foe in the vortex of a tornado and barrages the tornado with lightning.

Sacrificial Techniques
Storm Surge: Chipo summons all of his reserves of power and channels it into one huge explosion that has a radius of several miles. After using this technique, he is depleted of power and is vulnerable. He only uses this technique as a last resort. The energy of this explosion can affect any entity, no matter what.
Mextli's Rage: Chipo draws all his energy into the limbs of his body to give him the ultimate physical power and mobility. He cannot use any of his other powers after using this technique and the rate his energy is consumed is doubled. He is also on the edge of insanity.

Background: After the Aztec High Priest Toplitzin was exiled from the ancient city of Tula for trying to end the practice of human sacrifices, he vanished into the Gulf of Mexico aboard a raft of snakes, vowing one day to return.

While sailing away from the people of Tula, he came upon a small island society where he was sheltered by the people there. He met a young boy on that island, and Toplitzin sensed power beneath his human flesh. Believing him to be a demigod, he offered to take the boy with him on his journey. The boy greatfully accepted and left the island with Toplitzin.

Toplitzin found that the boy had an odd power of being able to absorb amounts of energy. One day, a hurricane approached Toplitzin's raft and they were too far away from land to be able to find shelter. This hurricane was by far the worst yet that year (Type 5 by today's standards). Fearing for the safety of his mentor, the boy stepped up and used his absorbing powers to absorb the force and power of the oncoming hurricane.

The raft was saved, but the boy had horrible side effects. He gained unimaginable strength and power from the hurricane. Toplitzin landed on the coast of modern-day florida and the boy went crazy, destroying everything in his path except Toplitzin, for some reason, the boy held back when approached by Toplitzin.

Toplitzin feared that the boy was too dangerous to live among humans, but he could not kill him. The boy had saved Toplitzin's life. Toplitzin bound the boy with chains supposedly strengthened by gods and the boy was cast to the bottom of the sea. Coencidentally, the place the boy rested at the bottom of the ocean was in the direct center of the Bermuda Triangle.

Centurys later, the boy, still alive and still sprawling with the power of the hurricane, broke the chains and escaped to the unsuspecting world above.

The boy still had the body of a human, but nothing more. He no longer had to eat or breathe.

Theme: "The Thing that Should Not Be" by Metallica

NOTE: All the beings mentioned in Chipo's attacks and his backstory are actual characters from Aztec Mythology, except for Chipo himself that is. The titles of the attacks may make it seem he is endowed with the power of the gods, but it is simply fancy titles for the attacks. Atlaua was the Aztec Water goddess, Tlaloc was the god of lightning, Atlacamani was the Goddess of Ocean Storms, and Mextli was the God of War/Storms. I only put their names in those attacks because it fit with the attack and it made the attacks sound cool.

The Mosquito

Age: Unknown

Sex: Female

Height: 5'5"

Weight: 90 pounds (on empty stomach)

Appearence: A female humanoid insect with a long needle like appendage in place of a mouth.

Fighting Style/Personality: The Mosquito lacks a human personality. Her main goal in a fight is to feed herself by draining the foe of their blood (or their energy). Mosquito will attempt to find the foe's weak spot and drain them of all of their energy or blood to satiate his hunger. Mosquito's wings give her unnatural speed and her reaction times are much better than a human's. Her chambered eyes give her a view from many directions, to help her avoid being hit when draining the foe of their blood/energy.

Weapons: Mosquito pocesses a long, sharp needle appendage on her mouth. It is unaturally sharp and tough. It can bore through nearly anything to get to the blood/energy that Mosquito desires to feed upon. Mosquito also pocesses excellent wings that give her unhindered speed and mobility in the air.

Techniques:
Energy Imitation: When Mosquito absorbs the energy of a foe, she can temporarily use the foe's powers until her body digests the energy, the foe still retains their powers though.
Stolen Healing: Sucking blood or energy from the foe rapidly heals Mosquito.
Injected Venom: When Mosquito bites the foe, they are injected with a poison that temporarily stuns them allowing Mosquito to suck more blood/energy or deliver an attack. The venom also causes a horribly irritating sore afterwards.
Shimmer Wings: Mosquito's wings can deflect energy attacks.

Background: In a time when this creation was new, the Gods were pleased with the world they had created. It seemed perfect until a human princess cursed the gods for a truly immature reason. This princess blasphemed the gods for the creation of the Mosquito. She claimed the lowly blood-sucking insects ruined her beautiful face with their bites. The Gods, angered at such defiance by the underling humans, transformed the Princess into a Mosquito beast herself. The people shunned her hideous transformation and no longer acknowledged her as their ruler. She fled from her castle on the eve of a angry mob-siege. She found refuge in a forest and lived on there for centurys, giving the forest the reputation of being cursed. She would prey on random travelers passing through the forest and the people began to fear the woods.

Years later, the people prayed to the Gods, and the forest mysteriously slipped underground in an Earthquake. The Mosquito (what the princess had called herself) was trapped underground for many millenia. She was forgotten by the people she terrorized and she was forced to live a life of hunger that wasn't able to be filled due to lack of food in her cavernous prison.

After a seeming eternity, light pierced the darkness of the chamber where she had rested. Humans had opened up the cavern with a bomb blast during a war, and Mosquito emerged into the world above to terrorize and feed upon a new generation of humans.

Railroad Red

Age: 135

Sex: Male

Height: 6'11"

Weight: 210 lbs

Appearence: Railroad Red is a tall, broad-shouldered muscular man. He wears a long bullet-ridden red silk jacket (although its never buttoned). He also wears a vest that houses leather holsters for his two pistols. One holster is marked "Redemption," with the other marked "Payback." He has untamed black hair that reaches down to his neck. Atop his head is a faded gray cowboy hat that is always worn at a strange angle.

Fighting Style/Personality: Railroad Red is a calm type mostly, but is actually a sleeping dragon just waiting to be awoken. Once annoyed, he will often lead into rampages that usually end with heavy casualties. Red is considerably giving and generous towards poor people and often puts himself in great danger on their account. He trusts rural people easily, but is very untrusting of wealthy people, however humble they may claim to be. Red has an unusual moral code however. He draws an unclear line between forgiveness and punishment. He often decides wether or not to punish someone for their misdeeds depending on the circumstances, but he always brings swift wrath on those who wronged the helpless. It is said that Jack can tell if someone is a good type or a "selfish rich'un" before even talking to them. When in a fight, Red fights unmercifully if he considers the foe to be worth dying. If confronted with multiple foes, he prefers to show off in his killing to possibly scare away other foes. He fights in his own groove; switching between targets in a constant flow.

Weapons: His dual pistols, a rifle. The Gun named Redemption fires bullets with the name of a random poor person he helped during his life. If the bullet connects, the ghost of the person will terrorize the foe. The gun named Payback fires bullets that, if they connect, instantly causes pain to the foe as retribution for one random sin the foe commited in their past. The rifle, labeled Forgiveness, has his own insignia on it. The rifle's bullets contain fragments of the collective pain felt by people living in poverty. When the bullets connect, they release the pain they contain onto the target.

Skills:
Super Strength- Red has super strength. He has been known to leap over freight trains in single bounds and even once was rumored to have tossed a railroad car at a group of pursuers chasing him. The limits of this strength are not known.

Physical Prowess- On top of his super strength and leaping abilitys, Railroad Red has excellent physical prowess that puts Olympian athletes to shame. He has excellent stamina as well. Red also has superb reflexes and reaction times, some believing he even has precognition.

Sharpshooter- Red is said to be so skilled with a gun that he could shoot a hole through a dime, and, according to one ballad’s verse, he sportingly "shot all the buttons off the brakeman’s coat."

Shadow Leap- During the day or in a well-lit area, Railroad Red has the ability to 'leap' between shadows cast by objects in the area. This 'leaping' is best described as teleporting between the shadows. During the night, Shadow Leap functions as full teleportation as long as the area he teleports to is also cloaked in darkness.

Background:
William Knocksfeld, who would later become known as Railroad Red, was the first son born to railroad tycoon Gregory Knocksfeld. William lived a lavish life with his every need tended to by the butlers and other servants employed by his father. His entire life he was told that he would take over the family buisness, and he dreamed of nothing else.

On his 18th birthday, William was given his first chance to prove himself in the railroad buisness by being given a surveying assignment in a rural area to construct a new railroad to run through the area to connect two major cities. During the assignment, William saw the poverty of the people living in the area, how they barely scraped a living from the land. After a childhood of riches and spoiling, William was completely blown away at the fact that some people didn't even know when they're next meal would come. William found out that the railroad was to run straight through a series of cropfields, which would essentially ruin the town's already frail economy.

William tried to discourage his father from going through the town, but Gregory wouldn't hear of it. William put his foot down and said he would refuse to work this project unless it was diverted away from the fields, but Gregory scoffed at William and quickly replaced him on the project with his brother, Edward. That night, William disappeared.

The railroad was contructed anyways, but as the trains started rolling through the area, the residents of the town noticed gifts of food appearing on their porches overnight. The train conductors complained of a lone outlaw in a red coat that would jump them and steal whatever cargo that was aboard the railroad cars. As the reports of the outlaw in the red coat increased, he was given a name, Railroad Red. Gregory demanded the police stop Railroad Red, and a crusade began.

The cops started watching any railroads that trains carrying valuable cargo traveled on, but even when they caught Railroad Red in the act, he would always get away. Rumors arose that Red was bullet proof. Some claimed he could vanish into shadows, other claimed he could transform into a copy of a policeman to blend in with his pursuers or transform into a dog to blend in with the bloodhounds.

Redh owever, turned out to be mortal after all. One rainy night when robbing a freight train, Red stumbled onto an ambush of Policeman in one of the boxcars. After a nasty shootout, Red almost escaped from the boxcar, but he slipped as he ran to leap away. The police missed no oppurtunity here and every man still standing shot Red multiple times.

The local Sheriff proudly displayed Red's body in the town square, partly as a trophy, and partly as a warning to anyone who wanted to replicate Red's actions in life. The Sheriff's victory was short lived though. Railroad Red's body disappeared and a few days later, the poor people began notcing the gifts of food and supplies appearing on their doorsteps overnight. The train conductors reported sightings of Railroad Red, and now he seemed as uncatchable as ever. All of the rumors that had been made to explain Red's escapes seemed to be made true now. In a fight with law enforcement, Red actually lifted a traincar and threw it at his captors before turning into a dog to massacre the Sheriff leading them. Law-enforcers thought their troubles with Railroad Red were over, but that was not so. After his death, his body disappeared and the poor people noticed the mysterious gifts coming to them again. Many had claimed that Red was sent back to continue his mission. His powers and skill seemed to be amplified after dying once. Red continued to help the poor people in the area of North Carolina.

Jack O'Lantern

Age: 332 years old

Sex: Male

Height: 2'4"

Weight: 100 pounds

Appearence: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/a/a2/Jack-o%27-Lantern_2003-10-31.jpg

Fighting Style: Jack O'Lantern is a sneaky fellow. He prefers to blind an opponent, wether by cloaking the entire arena in darkness or blinding an opponent with large bursts of light, before attacking. Jack will then attack sneakily, attacking from different spots to confuse his foe as to where he is. Other times, Jack will try to use fear on his foe by blinding them and then screaming with the voices of many ghosts.

Weapons:
Hellfire Coal- The source of Jack's powers. Jack can not only use this for fire attacks and light attacks, but he can also bind wandering ghosts into it and the ghost will add to his power. The Coal can release the ghosts as well, but they are under Jack's control. Oddly, the Hellfire Coal only works for Jack. If another were to even touch the Coal, it would merely burn them and wouldn't yield its powers to them.
Husk- Jack's pumpkin body's husk is extremely durable and strong. The exposure to the Hellfire Coal had strengthened the husk over the years. The husk automatically repairs damage to itself.

Techniques:
Illumination- Using the Hellfire Coal within his body, Jack can project intense bursts of light capable of blinding the foe. This works by the Coal absorbing light (it has large storages of it) and then releasing it. Likewise, Jack can cast an area into total darkness. This works by the Coal absorbing all of the light in an area.
Will o' Wisp- Jack can project a magic, unextenguishable fire from the Hellfire Coal that is perfectly manipulatable by Jack. The Fire can be juiced up to Hellfire temperatures if he desires.
Poltergeist- Using the power of poltergeists bound within the Hellfire Coal, Jack gains access to a strong telekinesis. Jack's use of this power on himself is also his primary means of transportation.
Poscession- Jack sends out one of the ghosts to poscess the opponent. If one is not enough, he sends more and more until the opponent is under his control.
Ghost Front- Jack, using the Coal, can summon all of the ghosts under his control to scream their loudest, creating a very powerful sonic scream attack. Jack can also unleash all of the ghosts bound to the Coal to fly around the arena and scream. This serves as a distraction so Jack can attack the foe with another attack. Lastly, Jack can order the ghosts anchor themselves to Jack's husk to form a reflective shield.
Ghost Quake- Jack compresses the ghosts into the Hellfire Coal and releases them quickly, creating a powerful shock wave.

Background- Jack, the Irish say, grew up in a simple village where he earned a reputation for cleverness as well as laziness. He applied his fine intelligence to wiggling out of any work that was asked of him, preferring to lie under a solitary oak endlessly whittling. In order to earn money to spend at the local pub, he looked for an "easy shilling" from gambling, a pastime at which he excelled. In his whole life he never made a single enemy, never made a single friend and never performed a selfless act for anyone.

One Halloween, as it happened, the time came for him to die. When the devil arrived to take his soul, Jack was lazily drinking at the pub and asked permission to finish his ale. The devil agreed, and Jack thought fast. "If you really have any power," he said slyly, "you could transform yourself into a shilling."

The devil snorted at such child’s play and instantly changed himself into a shilling. Jack grabbed the coin. He held it tight in his hand, which bore a cross-shaped scar. The power of the cross kept the devil imprisoned there, for everyone knows the devil is powerless when faced with the cross. Jack would not let the devil free until he granted him another year of life. Jack figured that would be plenty of time to repent. The devil left Jack at the pub.

The year rolled around to the next Halloween, but Jack never got around to repenting. Again the devil appeared to claim his soul, and again Jack bargained, this time challenging him to a game of dice, an offer Satan could never resist, but a game that Jack excelled at. The devil threw snake eyes—two ones—and was about to haul him off, but Jack used a pair of dice he himself had whittled. When they landed as two threes, forming the T-shape of a cross, once again the devil was powerless. Jack bargained for more time to repent.

He kept thinking he’d get around to repentance later, at the last possible minute. But the agreed-upon day arrived and death took him by surprise. The devil hadn’t showed up and Jack soon found out why not. Before he knew it Jack was in front of the pearly gates. St. Peter shook his head sadly and could not admit him, because in his whole life Jack had never performed a single selfless act. Then Jack presented himself before the gates of hell, but the devil was still seething. Satan refused to have anything to do with him.

"Where can I go?" cried Jack. "How can I see in the darkness?"

The devil tossed a burning coal from hell's fires into a hollow pumpkin and ordered him to wander forever with only the pumpkin to light his path.

Eventually, Jack's human body decayed away and his soul entered the pumpkin to retain a body. Jack soon learned the powers of the Hellfire Coal that lit his way, and he then began to use his mastery of trickery to fool wandering ghosts into being bound to the Hellfire Coal so he could gain power himself. Over the years, Jack has bound thousands of ghosts into the Hellfire Coal.
