Season 1 gets my vote without question. Sure the later shows had better effects and even some impressive cgi, but the newness and uniqueness of this series when it first came out really got my attention. What? Giant monsters, robots, superheroes, and magic?!? Whoa.:O That plus I liked the monsters better in this series compared to any of the others as well as the fact that my favorite ranger/zord combo was in this series as well(Green ranger/Dragonzord).

Season 1, 2 and 3 of the original are mt second favorite.

But imo, the best one had to be timeforce. I just liked the music, the characters, the fact that I never had to watch a monster I thought was awsome get blown up, the musci was awsome, The Q-rex was a REALLY cool zord, and..oh yes, the music was awsome!

Old School all the way up until the Ninja Zords. Once all the original characters were gone, I kinda lost interest. I stuck with it until somewhere in Zeo, then it seemed to go off the air or changed the station and I never found it again :(

Kimberly was my favorite Ranger(I wore pink a LOT in high school and had PR stickers in my locker, lol) and I had a crush on Tommy.

But one character I really loved never got used enough - SABA! I still have my Saba sword and even wrote a fanfic about his origins up to when he's given to Tommy :) Here's a link to it on ff.net: Peacemaker (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/642839/1/)

In terms of character awesomeness, Season one.

In that season, we have heroes. True, honest to God heroes.

The ONLY time they ever considered giving up was after Tommy kicked their asses five times in a row, more or less KILLED Zordon, destroyed the base, messed up Alpha Five, and sent their Zords to Hell.

And even then, it was only for a few minutes, before they got back up, fixed everything, and KICKED HIS ***.

That's a mark of a true hero, and they were. With or with out their powers, they would fight to not only teh bitter end, but all ends. Which is why they are so superior to just about everyone who came after, and indeed, all comic book heroes.

Though I must admit, as far as story and plot goes, In Space, Lost Galaxy, Time Force, and Mystic Force are among the best.

Season's one and two are the ONLY good episodes of Power Rangers. I have to sit through Zeo, Mysic force, and SPD with my 3 year old brother. I swear I want to break the TV in half. Both me and my mom agree that the monsters look like s*** and the graphics got worse over time instead of better.

I've liked most of the series but my favorite has to be Dino Thunder.I loved everything about it from the theme song to the characters.

As I remember, it was at the end of part IV and Alpha V says that the odds of victory are less than ten percent but Jason rallies his troops saying isn't that ten percent enough to keep on fighting!

I tell you the first half of season one was my fav'. Its all the nostalgia man!

I have to come to the defense of the Power Ranger monsters, since I've always been a fan of them, not counting seasons where the designs were too complicated and silly even for my liking...Dino Thunder and its extreme majority of villains come to mind. Yes, yes, Mesagog and Zeltrax were serviceable, but a pink cactus, cockroach, magnet hybrid? Man, this kind of malarkey actually makes me miss the childish robots of Zeo and the cycloptic furniture based bad guys of season two, and back then I thought that was as bad as it could get!

But Mystic Force is great as far as monster designs go. Sure, they lack the simplicity of the first season's Zyuranger holdovers, or the original animal based monsters commissioned by Saban before the second season switched to Dairanger footage. But they are appealing designs, have wonderful mythological motifs, much like the Zyuranger characters, and I've found more winners then losers this season around, with Imperious the sly mummy wizard and the fantastic Ten Terrors of the Underworld being at the top of my list. A character based on the triple whammy of the Babylonian deity Dagon, H.P. Lovecrafts own similarly named beast, and the Gill Man from the Black Lagoon? BRILLANT! Most American fantasy shows, let alone anime isn't as bold as the super sentai / power ranger franchise when monster designs are concerned. And although there are those that do suck hard (the majority of Dino Thunder and Ninja Storm), when they come out with some good designs, man do they come out with good designs!

Not too big on PR; I'm more of a Sentai fan myself, and I personally like Dekaranger (SPD), Magiranger (Mystic Force), and Boukenger (what will be called "Operation Overdrive"). I've seen the PR versions of these shows, and they pale in comparison.

If I'm gonna talk about PR though, my favorite season would have to be season 3, mainly because I really liked the mechs they used in that one.

The first season without a doubt. I remember thinking Dragonzord was the **** as a kid and he still is to this day. From what I've seen of some of the newer ones (Dino Thunder and SPD) they're interesting and action packed but don't hold a candle to the originals.
