A lot of the current kaiju portraits I'm working on are of obscure or lesser known characters, so for the public's enjoyment, here are some better known candidates you can choose to be the next kaiju portrait, or at least after those the current work in progress is done.

Gorosaurus
Grand King Ghidorah from "Mothra 3"
Varan
Rodan, 1956 versions
GMK Godzilla
'Headless' Mechagodzilla 2 from "Terror of Mechagodzilla"
Ultraseven
Giant Amoeba from "The Angry Red Planet"
Giant Mantango from the 1988 NES Godzilla video game

The last time I held this kind of poll, Manda from "Atragon" was the winning pick and Nancy Archer, the title giantess of 1957's "Attack of the 50ft Woman" came in close second.

I say either Gorosaurus or Ghidorah. You could probably animate them very well.

I can't decide between Gorosaurus, Rodan or Varan myself. :look: I know I would love to see all three depicted in Ensh's unique style, as well as he really brings out a monster's personality. I think Goro would especially come across well. Meanwhile, Rodan offers aerial options, as does Varan but I tend to picture him on the ground in an aggressive posture for some reason.

I wouln't mind seeing your portrait of Varan myself, Enshoma. But anything from the NES game, Godzilla:Monster Of Monsters is just as cool.

I always liked your style of art, and I think it would be very interesting to see your take on my favorite monster, King Ghidorah the Grand.

However, 1956 Rodan comes in a very close second...

Grand King Ghidorah would be a cool one. I like that one or Rodan. Both of them are great choices.

I'm going with Grand King Ghidorah, since my gut tells me your redition of GKG would be simply awesome.

Unless tons of other people join in to change the results, it looks like Grand King Ghidorah, my favorite version of the three-headed space demon since his first appearance, will be my next kaiju portrait, and Varan will be one to, as he's in second place.

There were many other characters to get mentioned by you and be assured they be done as well, but Varan and Grand KG come first. However, if you guys want, I can post the 'losers' (but in Enshohma's mind, all kaiju are winners) sketches in the near future.

Thank you all for voting,
Enshohma

Being a big fan of the saurian kaiju, I vote for Varan and/or Gorosaurus.

Some bad news and good news, but an overall update for all: The bad news is Grand King Ghidorah is taking too long as he is the most complicated Kaiju Portrait I've done thus far. Blasted three headed, golden son of a...

Because of Grand King Ghidorah's time consuming picture and because he's taking a back seat to more important things in my life, I've opted for the next solution, which brings us to the good news: I'll basically be doing all the runner ups who received votes (sorry Ultraseven) and with that said, Gorosaurus will be completed soon...I hope.

Varan, 'Headless' Mechagodzilla 2, Giant NES Mantango, Giant Amoeba, and GMK Godzilla will be forthcoming, while the original sketch of Rodan I've done has been, for the time being, lost.

And of course I'll be throwing a couple of screw balls along the more well known, like a Mexican comic book villain of Kong and some really obscure Hanna/Barbera monsters.

I voted for the Headless MG, as I can imagine the pure awesomeness that it would be.
