Nebulans vs Simians vs Killaks? - the original premise

I just got to wondering recently what would've happened if the Nebulans had successfully conquered the Earth but then later had to contend with the other aliens who also wanted Earth years down the road? Would things have went peacefully or would a new battle for the planet begin? And what role would certain kaiju play in all of this? Godzilla and Anguirus would have to be dead or out out of the way in some fashion for this to work obviously. Would other kaiju from Monster Island appear? Would we see King Ghidorah and Gigan vs Mechagodzilla and Titanosaurus? With King Ghidorah still under Nebulan control would the Killaks bring a different monster or monsters with them when they finally arrived? Would the Seatopians get involved? Who would win in the end?

It seems like there are so many possiblities to this. What do the rest of you think?

I remember reading a fanfic in an old issue of G-Fan that had a vaguely similar idea. It took place sometime between GvML and GvMG'74, and was a flashback to an ill-fated meeting between the Nebulans and Simians in an abandoned Natalan base (as seen in Battle in Outer Space!) that the Nebulans had occupied. Negotiations between the two sides go sour...resulting in a battle between Gigan and Mechagodzilla on the Moon! It was a good story...I should dig it up...

I think that would be an awesome story and movie! I was actually thinking of creating a sort of fan-fic about a UN consiting of Toho aliens; members would inculde all the aliens that have tried to take over earth, and others too, like the Seatopians and the people of Mu; they'd all gather together to come up with news ideas to destroy/invade earth. Speaking of which, in your idea Mecha74, what if the Nebulans allined with the Seatopians? They seemed on good trems in GvsML, and the Seatopians didn't seem to care that the Nebulans were wanting to take control of their planet. Hmm.....An alien alliance seems most logical IMO. I don't see excluding Godzilla from possible Earth defense duties, tho. There is also Gamera and his alien foes (such as Zigra) if we wish to consider the Kaijuverse as a whole.
The referenced story sounds like one of Skip Peel's Dr. Summerall journal entries. Another one gives great insight into Zigra.
As for the Seatopians, I'm not sure at this point how they would best fit into the mix, being rather isolationist to begin with. Still, they did ally with aliens in the past. It is the ETs themselves I would focus on, as well as their strong domination drives. The Xians have a definite "need" to do something about acquiring more resources (water) and aren't above trying to obtain it. You might say their survival depends on it.
Any way you look at it, Earth should definitely keep watching the skies (as well as our harbors)! :p

Perhaps some of us should get together (on the forums) and write a 'conceil of doom' type fan-fic in which all kaiju aliens (or at least Toho ones) get together and plan world damination. Each member could write for a certain alien race, and the out come could be a supprisingly good story, an extremly funny one, or just plan dumb. How's that for an idea? could it go anywhere?

The idea of a "serious" Toho (or Kaijuverse as a whole) fan fiction effort sounds exciting! When completed, it can easily be fine tuned for website or other proper presentation. :)

Alrighty! Raptor suggested I go through with this odd idea of a fan-fic and so here I am. Here's what it'll be:

Story: All aliens from the kaiju universe and other hostle civilizations such as the Seatopians and the Empire of Mu--all the bad guys--have created a UN of sorts in space where they can all plot together ways to destroy/take control of earth, which they've apetly named the Council of Doom (COD).

The way it's played: I have no idea. Several members would have a part, each playing the role of a certain alien race and through conversations with each other we devolp a fan-fic, I guess. You see, I'm not sure exactly how you guys go about writing fan-fics here. My sister (girzilla) and I often write our own comidy fan-fics based on Star Trek, but the way we write them up may not be the 'official' way of doing so--if such a thing exists--or at least how you guys do it.

Is this supposed to be a serious story that could be taken... well, seriously? Or is it going to pock fun at the kaiju ETs for our hummor? That'll be among the many things we'll have to talk about.

So, we've got an idea, but we need to figure out a way to make it happen. So feel free to speak you mind on the subject and give any helpful suggestions you may have to offer. There it is. What do you think?

This sounds like a ROUND ROBIN type effort. For anyone who isn't familiar with them, it is simply folks taking turns advancing a story. Within the discussion threads would be where OOC (Out Of Character) posts are made - the questions and comments that WILL NOT appear in the story itself. Having separate "work threads" helps keep the story itself more focused, I believe, and easier to keep up with.

I have no real idea of how to make this thing work, so anyone who knows anything about this sort of story/fan-fic please help. Any "rules" I may have "laid down" in my first post can be changed a great deal as I'm not sure how to go about handling this.

An argument? Like what kind? One that's part of the story or a cat-fight between members? And the "Round Robin" idea sounds as good as any, unless someone else has other suggestions.

Holy crap! I am suddenly very nervous! I had no idea everyone was going to hop onboard my story idea like this. I offer my apologies to Gojira2000, who originally made this thread and had his heart set on the Council of Doom idea. I by no means meant to steal your thunder in any way.
No apologizes needed!;) I'm glad you came up with such a fantastic idea, as I really had no clue how to apporch the topic as a fan-fic. In fact I'm a little taken back myself, as I had no idea people would jump onto this story line with such viger (I thought for sure it wouldn't go anywhere and would end up "another G2000 plot falls through" kind of thing), but I believe a big thanks goes to you M74, as your idea seems to be a huge reason as to why everyone's so heapped up about doing it.:thumbs:

Raptor, were you hinting that a new name for the fan-fic be chosen? I don't have a problem with this, as the actual "Council of Doom" idea seems to be fadding away. Actually, I think a real Council of Doom is kind of begging for a comic-fan-fic, and not a dead-serious plot like M74's outline, which is why I'm kind of hoping will use that instead. But either way, what should we rename it?

And I forgot all about the Millennians!:nervous: I may have picked them instead if I thought about it (but I think I'll stick with the X-seijin). This of course means Orga has to come into play, which means the UFO will destroy the Nebulans in sreach of Godzilla to use his DNA, which may result in his awakening.

I also like the idea of Gamera and Mothra taking Godzilla's place as earth's defenders, since he's out of the picture for the time being. (speaking of which, even though this outline seems more or less placed in the Showa era, must we use Showa kaiju designs? Because I'd rather have any of the Heisei Gamera suits used in this then one of the Showa ones. But that's just me. Or does this actually take place nowadays? Hmm....)

This is becoming something rather big I think, much bigger then we may expect. Given time and effort, who know where this'll lead?:cool:

It often comes with having a great idea; EXECUTING and nurturing it along. It's not that hard, more like clerical work than anything. ;) It's also a great way to recognize those got the whole thing started in the first place. :thumbs:
