Blarg, just have New Line Cinema do it. They did an excellent job on the other three movies. I'm still watching the Return of the King Extended. I didn't eat much during December because I bought my step-father all three Extended movies of the Lord of the Rings. That was a lot of money, but it was worth it.

The only sad part is that they wouldn't be able to get Richard Boone to do the voice of Smaug. Since he's dead. *sniff* :( I mean, to me, he was the only person who could bring that gold hording dragon to life. Though, I heard somehwere that they were gonna pick Christopher Lee (Saruman) for the job of voicing Smaug.

I heard he's going to do a World War II film next. And the Hobbit has been going through rights issues with MGM having the rights rather then New Line.

Jackson intends to do The Hobbit but not for awhile yet. It could be until 2007 before anything is set in motion & the rights are cleared up.
