It wouldn't be hard to make a Metal Gear Solid movie. You'd have to be dumb not to do it right. Though that has been said about many games-to-movies.

It'd basically be like Rambo (the first movie i mean) meets James Bond. Just more emphasis on the sneaking around part.

Now this is just a rumor but in a recent interview with David Hayter (voice actor Solid Snake) he said something about christian bale talking about an MGS movie and also it states christian is to be playing solid snake, a clip from the article:
MGS.org: In a past interview Christian Bale hinted that a Metal Gear movie was currently in the works and that he would take the role of the lead character Solid Snake. It was also said that you would have something to do with this film. Can you confirm or elaborate on any of this?

David Hayter: I hadn’t heard that about Christian Bale, but he certainly fits the role. I am friends with the Producers, and we have spoken about my working on a Metal Gear screenplay. I would love to do it, as I know this Universe and character very well, but it all comes down to schedule. I am supposed to begin shooting “Black Widow” for Marvel and Lion’s Gate this fall, and the last I heard, there was still some legal wrangling regarding the MGS movie. If it comes together, I am hoping to be available.

Now after having read this do you think christian bale would be a good solid snake?

The Golden Rule of video-game-Based Movies is that no matter how good the source material is, the resulting production will always be a complete and utter flop.
