You'll be pleased to know that the new book has gotten the green light. I can't say too much about the subject matter, but it might just be my most prestigious work in the Warhammer range, even edging out my Ruinous Powers books.

Well, of course the Vermintide Skaven were more fleshed-out... they ran the show, so to speak.

Skilk was more of an awesome "side" character to bounce off of Carandini.

Grey Seer Skilk was a nasty, neurotic piece of filth, wasn't he? I have a deep affinity for the skaven, they are what drew me to Warhammer to begin with, so I owe them quite a bit. I think the skaven I used in Vermintide were a bit stronger as far as characterisation went. Gnawlitch Shun and his pet assassin Feng-Fang, as well as the scheming Grey Seer Skaabwrath.

See, I played 40K at the time I started reading Clint's stuff- NONE of which goes down in the 40K universe, IIRC.

But his Grey Seer in Witch Killer damn near made me start a Skaven Army.

I loves me some loathsome rat-men.

I agree with Bruticus. "Witch Hunter" is good even if you're not familiar with the Warhammer universe. In fact, that book is what got me into WH in the first place.

Well, the Skulltaker novel is quite timely...

Being as the Daemons just got a new army book for both settings.

The great thing about his Warhammer novels is that you don't need to be really familiar with Warhammer to enjoy them. Palace of the Plague Lord, for example, is perfectly readable and not at all confusing to non-fans of the game.

Well, this is probably going way back and I never read his novels (don't know anything about Warhammer) but, I still love Koumajutsu. Out of all the other Goji New Era Fan Fictions he wrote that one is still my favorite. They were all good, but that one just sticks out the most and I am sure most of you would agree.

Another of my sword & sorcery stories available on the web is over at the Flashing Swords site: http://flashingswords.sfreader.com/i...l1-iss3-02.htm

If I can ever steal some time, I really need to do more independent stuff!

Yes, I've read "Crypt of the Cobra." Quite a good sword-and-sorcery tale, that one. My favorite C.L. Werner tale, though, has to be "Fires of the Gods."

Have you guys read "Crypt of the Cobra"? It's a story Clint wrote for and posted on the Two-Fisted Tales website that I came across a few months ago. It features Clint's own version of my favorite sword & sorcery race. Here's the link-
