Homework Help Line
Just want a quick answer for my question.
What figure possesses both point and line symmetry and why is that so?

Re: Little Help Please
I would think a circle, with the point being the center of the circle and the line being the diameter.

Re: Little Help Please
Gor... I tried that... it did not help me. At. All.
Ok... it's about to get a bit more complicated... I need help with about 5 things, if it's not too much trouble, I'd like that help by 10:00pm est time.
Everyday experiences for the following 4 subjects.
1. Algebra
2. Trigonometry
3. Geometry
4. Coordinate Geometry
5. And any sort of idea that can lead to the creation to a math- centric game. It can be about any of the four topics listed above. It should also be in a format of something of a board game.
Thanks in advance for ALL of your help. I greatly appreciate anyone for even batting an eye in this direction. Thank you again.

Symmetry, at least bilateral symmetry, which is what you seem to have in mind, is defined as being equal on two parts. Point symmetry is when a pair of points matches perfectly at 90 degree, 180 degree or acute or obtuse angles.
As for point and line symmetry, a square is good. All 90 degree angles, each side equal, each side therefore symmetric. Or, alternately, one could go with an even-numbered polygon, such as a hexagon, octagon, decagon, or so on. Each line must be at a specific angle, and so it can be divided equally. Tricky as hell, but it can be done.
As best as I can do. Take some with a grain of salt, it's been years since I studied geometry.

Well....now you know why I want to major in English lol...so I don't have to deal with the overly ridiculous complications of mathematics.

Same here. (English FTW!)
I hate math. Always have, always will.
