I havn't seen a topic on here about Spore yet, and I'm kinda surprised. For those of you who don't know, Spore is an up-and coming game by Will Wright, of 'SIM' fame. The game is about... well, life, really. You start as a cell, evolve into a creature of your own design, evolve intelligence and make tribes, eventually form a civilization, and then form spacefaring capabilities, zooming to other planets, befriending new alien worlds, or go to war with them. The scope is amazing. I could go on and on and on about the various other features, but I think it'd be easier if I just gave you the site.

Yesterday, the standalone Creature Creator came out, both as a full $10 purchase version, and a free downloadable trial version that has only a fraction of the parts. I expect to see Mothras or Biollantes and King Ghidorahs almost any day now. I've allready seen a number of Cloverfields and one Godzilla.
So, what does everybody else think about this thing? With a heavily promoted final release date of September of THIS YEAR, maybe they're finally ready to release the full game this time, after years of setbacks.
