Yeah, pretty much. I just cannot think of a real way for Viras to win this match at all. Ang's TB will wreck all sorts of havoc on the space squid.

It's not that one sided. Viras's tentacles were strong enough to send Gamera flying back. There was a moment where Viras smacked Gamera off of dry land and sent him plummeting deep into the sea. So yeah, Viras is stronger than your average alien squid.
Anguirus going into his Thunder Ball doesn't equal instant win. Let's not forget, he doesn't always pack the same punch when in said mode of transportation. So it's certainly possible Viras might whack him aside or somehow skewer him with his spear-head.
Speaking of which, Viras's spear-head can do some serious damage. But since Anguirus is usually tucked inside his Thunder Ball, it will rarely be a problem. Although it's certainly possible Viras could penetrate Anguirus, just unlikely.
With all that said, Anguirus should take the majority. When properly executed, Anguirus's Thunder Ball is a powerful physical attack. One I can't see Viras surviving multiple hits from.
