Unless you can't/don't deal with Ebay for whatever reason, I think it's the best resource for region-free.
Of the DVDs I got from there, 98.9% of them were of respectable quality.
Just do your feedback research and email sellers, most important.

Region 0 DVDs
I was looking at DVDs on Ebay, when I came across two disc sets of KKvG, WOTG, GOJIRA(1954), and a whole lot more. It said they have removable english subtitles, and are in their original format. What do you people think of this?

Re: Region 0 DVDs on Ebay
if we are thinking of the same ones then as far as i can tell they are bootlegs. no legit region 0 copies exist to my knowledge and the power multimedia dvds (which i dont think include those films anyways) have subtitles but you cant remove them.

Re: Region 0 DVDs on Ebay
I suggest not to buy them unless you are absolutely desperate to see them on the DVD format. I bought a Region 0 Godzilla Vs. Megalon DVD a couple of years ago just out of curiousity; and boy, the picture seemed to be more faded and pan-scanned than my thirteen year old VHS copy! In my opinion, you would just be throwing your money out of the window.
You can still find the KK Vs. G DVD on eBay and even on Amazon sometimes. Sure you may be paying a lot more than you would when it was first released, but you are getting a much better copy. WOTG and Gojira will also be released onto DVD sometime in the near future anyways so I suggest you hold off and use that money more wisely by buying the superior versions of the films on Region 1 DVD.

Re: Region 0 DVDs on Ebay
I got a few dvds from the ebay seller mentioned earlier, and it does infact have removable subtitles. they'res also amazingly sharp picture quality, 5.1 surround sound and 2.0 mono tracks, interactive menus with moving animations and anamorphic enhancement!how the hell does he do this?
