Godzilla (GXMG/GMMG): Kiryu Goji
Vote for the Godzilla from Godzilla Against MechaGodzilla and Godzilla Tokyo SOS. This is one of my favorite versions of Godzilla, and I would like to see him in this year’s Daikaiju Desumacchi line-up. This Godzilla withstood from weapons from the army and Kiryu. So let’s see this Godzilla in this year’s Daikaiju Desumacchi.

Re: Vote For Godzilla (GXMG/GMMG)
I voted for him, being my favorite Godzilla. Powerful beam, nasty physical attacks when he uses 'em, and fortitude like you wouldn't believe.
He could go really far in the tourny if he gets a lil luck on the side

Re: Vote For Godzilla (GXMG/GMMG)
I almost voted him in, really I did, but I decided to give Heisei Godzilla another shot at the gold. Ten years after his last movie, he's still the image that comes to mind when I think of Godzilla...

I think I'll give him one more try. Mark another vote for this Godzilla!

Re: Vote For Godzilla (GXMG/GMMG)
Eh. He's too slow and stupid to win my support.
Now, Kiryu.... Kiryu's a contender.

^ What does it matter if you're slow when you can take Mothra's explosive powder without moving?

Re: Vote For Godzilla (GXMG/GMMG)
It matters when you're fighting Gyaos, Megaguirus, Fire Rodan, or any other airborne Kaiju that doesn;t have to hold still to fight you.
And his stupidity is a major drawback.

Re: Vote For Godzilla (GXMG/GMMG)
Yeah, but all those flyers don't have enormous weapons that can really take him down quickly. I mean, once he gets a few beams off, things are looking good for him. His hide, as we've seen, is insanely strong, so it takes a ton to finally hurt him. And, we've seen that he's really not that bad at hitting aerial targets
And he's really not extremley stupid, he's not smart, but he has used clevar techniques in battle.

Re: Vote For Godzilla (GXMG/GMMG)
Gyaos' sonic cutter would almost certainly put him in a world of hurt.
And his record for accuracy against swift airborne targets is atrocious.

Re: Vote For Godzilla (GXMG/GMMG)
So then Gyaos is the only guy he's gotta worry about
And since when does he have atrocious aim against aerial targets? You watching the same movies as me? He's missed an air-born target once, in the two films he's been in. He hit four jets head on in GxMG, and the other still hit after moving it. Then he only missed Mothra once, and in the next moment he blasted her right in the wing. Hell, he even hit her after she knocked him down while he was falling! So, I don't know where you got the crazy idea that he can't hit aerial targets, but it's certainly rubbish.

Can we change votes?
I'm sorry, but I've decided to change my vote for another Godzilla if it's all right with you guys.

Re: Vote For Godzilla (GXMG/GMMG)
This Godzilla has fine aim and is actually pretty bright. He might lose to Gyaos, but that's because Gyaos is a DEMON in the air. There are very few kaiju he wouldn't be able to score hits on.

Or Fire Rodan. Or practically any monster with beam absorbtion/reflection capabilities, since he moves like a brick. Sorta like Heisei Godzilla in that regard.

The key there is head-on. They flew in a manner typical of the Toho JSDF. Like morons.

1) I said swift aerial targets. Mothra has to get in close and hover around. Any maneuvering she does decreases the impact when she strikes. Hitting her in the air is hardly impressive.
2)Rubbish? Pay more attention to what I say, sparky.

He only actually hits one head-on. I think he hits one other from behind and three at an angle. Considering how small and fast jet fighters are, attacking GxMG Godzilla's accuracy borders on the ludicrous.

These Godzillas seem tougher each and every time I re-watch their movies. Next time I will see if I think they are dumb.

Fire Rodan's not a very agile, or incredibly fast flyer in combat, Goji could easily nail him.
And you shouldn't count him out for beam absorbtion or reflection enemies, because as we've seen, he's still very deadly in physical combat, when he does use it. Remember the kick to Kiryu that sent him flying? Remember the bite-and-throw to Mothra? Hell, we've seen his tail as so much force that when it struck a Maser cannon is only ripped the part it hit off, it barely moved the rest of the thing. That's power! And he did try to do a spin at Kiryu once, and of course in Tokyo S.O.S he did the very amazing tail-trip and beam-to-the-head combo.

Ah, see, you misunderstood me. I didn't mean head on as if they were flying towards him, I meant he aimed the beam perfectly so the beam struck them head on, he didn't have to move it to hit them, or fire again, one hit straight out. They were often flying in different directions.

On 1., what do you call him hitting her when she flies by and nails him in the head as he falls...?
And dude, come on, I'm laughing here, where the hell is your evidence then that he has 'atrocious aim for swift aerial targets' when there's none in the movies?
