Re: RVTS Ep. 7: Mephistophelian
The stars that could be seen far up in the heavens seemed to shine with a great aura of beauty on this rather cold and unbearable night. For anyone who was staring up at the stars, they seemed to be bright and harmless. The empty voids of outer space seemed to go on forever and there was no limit to one's imagination of what could be out there, roaming free at this present moment in time. The imagination of what life existed beyond our solar system had no boundaries as long as it still remained a mystery to the people Earth. The universe was not pure, unstoppable power, but true beauty its only form of purity. But the dangers of space were always elusive as there are many things out there creeping across the stars, and penetrating through nebulas that could pose a possible threat to mankind.
There was always the threat of black holes, meteors colliding with the Earth and stars exploding that seemed to take a way the beauty of space and make it seem like a dangerous foe. There was a feeling among of astronauts of anxiety and tension, as they were fearful and afraid of being sent flying through the endlessness of space, alone. The awkward colors and indescribable shapes of nebulas almost seemed nightmarish through one's eyes. The odd and rather mystifying aura of strange and unique colors of the nebulas almost seemed to mask something in the universe. Those who traveled into space could not help but feel as if the nebulas they crossed contained dark secrets within them. It was there imagination showing them no boundaries while they were traveling through deep space. They were always fearful of an alien threat from outside of the solar system, unaware an even deadly foe was within close proximity to the planet Earth.
Drifting from the sun was the near lifeless body of Hellspawn, who was in pretty bad shape after his last fight with the Guardians. Next to Hellspawn was a mysterious and completely unrecognizable carcass that drifting alongside of him. Hellspawn was battered and broken; his entire body was covered in cuts, bruises, scabs and scars. The mysterious carcass didn't look humanoid, but something about its odd texture made Hellspawn believe it was the Blue Devil, and even as dead as he was looking, Hellspawn could swear it was alive. But Hellspawn had other issues to concern himself with, even if all he could do was think at the moment. There was much work that had to be done if he was going to be healed and return to Earth to finish his mission for Kronos, so that he could be with his beloved Mallory again. The thought of her made him smile, and he began to recollect what happened that brought him into space.
The demonic fiend remembered it all from the beginning, he was trapped inside of the vault between his mansion and Desutoroia's as a mere spirit and could not leave. It was his duty to protect the tomb where his body, with Mephistophelian's mind in control of it, slept, by command of his master Kronos. Then somehow, Hellspawn had been set free and was allowed to return to the surface of the world and begin causing chaos and havoc for everyone that did not fall unto their knees for him. It was exactly what Hellspawn had done as soon he returned from the lower regions, and found himself in the middle of a battle on Mt. Rodan.
Zax, the Crime King of Darkness, was once Hellspawn's boss many years ago when he was serving for the Maser City Mafia. It was Zax who murdered Mallory infront of Hellspawn's very eyes over some unpaid debts, and it was because of that moment that Hellspawn hated Zax more than anyone. When Hellspawn was on Mt. Rodan he discovered that Zax was no longer an average human, but the King of Darkness had been transformed into a Cenobite and was given a new title, Emperor of Darkness, and Hellspawn use everything he had to take down the one man who hated more than anyone. Finally, Hellspawn had beaten Zax to a pulp, but things only got worse.
The deceitful Blue Devil had already been set free by Zax and Matthias, and came into contact with Hellspawn. The Blue Devil tricked the demon into working for him, and sent Hellspawn to kill Afiag. And that is what Hellspaw did, he immediately departed to find Afiag and kill him so he could be reunited with Mallory. Unfortunately, destiny was denied him one last time as Afiag ended up overpowering Hellspawn and defeating him. In desperation the Blue Devil himself made an appearance and melded his body and mind with Hellspawn to become the brute warrior, Apocalypse, who nearly destroyed the world in 2014. The stakes had risen too high when Apocalypse summoned enough energy to destroy the entire solar system with one blast.
A swarm of Afiag's that were multiple personalities born from the Angel of Darkness himself, came forth and stopped Apocalypse from destroying the solar system, but that wasn't enough to stop Apocalypse all together. The Guardians continued to wage their war with Apocalypse, until Zax revealed himself to be alive and well. Zax carrying a havoc staff, proclaimed himself to be the Messiah and deliverer of evil. Sick of Zax's whining and arrogance, Apocalypse consumed him only to become more powerful. Now Apocalypse was the true Messiah of evil. Apocalypse then summoned the Blue Devil's army and marched into Roostville so he could destroy his enemies once and for all. In the end, his struggle was hopeless as Afiag managed to blast Apocalypse into the sun...
Hellspawn continued to drift away from the sun and slowly move towards the nearest planet. He was nearly lifeless and didn't how much longer he would last out there in the middle of space. After recollecting what happened when he and the Blue Devil became Apocalypse, Hellspawn began to think on his beloved Mallory and couldn't get his mind off her. Mallory was now the only thing Hellspawn ever dreamed about, as she meant the world to him. How could Hellspawn possibly function without her, he was already driven into madness over it? Perhaps it was too late to be with Mallory, but Hellspawn would never give up in his quest to have the one thing back that meant the world to him. If Hellspawn weren't such a coldhearted and ego-driven villain, he probably would've cried as he floated there through the endless boundaries of space.
The rusted carcass next to Hellspawn looked like a pile of dead body parts wrapped into one ball, and Hellspawn stared at it with great horror. As lifeless and harmless as it seemed he could feel that there was a great power within it and it was far from being dead. Hellspawn's eyes widened as the carcass turned into a rather grotesque and frightening beast of the night. The carcass threw itself at Hellspawn and leapt unto his torso and began feeding on him. Soon enough the carcass of what was believed to be the Blue Devil was consumed by Hellspawn's power, and a change reaction began to occur within him. Hellspawn was undergoing another mutation as he changed into a brutal beast with shining black armor. Hellspawn's past life personality took control of the body, and Mephistophelian was born again.
"Mephistophelian," The demon said aloud to himself, "Hath returneth."
Now the demon was fully charged and ready to take on anything and anyone that stood in his way. Mephistophelian was the Conqueror and Destroyer of Civilizations, and he would not rest until the Earth had been assimlated under his will. Mephistophelian spotted a shooting star that was heading for Earth, and grabbed unto it as it was his only ticket back to the planet where those who usurped him in the past lived. Now that he was back, he would not rest until he enacted his revenge upon all his enemies!

Re: RVTS Ep. 7: Mephistophelian
In Maser City the recent news of the shocking events which transpired at Mt. Rodan near the Roostville borderlines, spread like madness and was rather upsetting to the people. The tragedy had more media coverage than any news story to grace the Kaiju-Nations in the past, such as the murder of the Desutoroia and the serial killings committed by the Dark Lord, known as Sauron. On the front page of The Maser City Chronicle, was a dedication to both Project Pimp, the nefarious mayor and runner of the town, and Zax, the owner of Zax Industries which was the company that had worked in association with Exclusive Enterprises. Maser City Chronicle's article made almost little to no reference of the connection between Zax and the mod, as if they were trying to make the cruel man into a monarch over Pimp himself. The citizens of Maser City began to question their oppressors and the media took their cameras and pens to the doors of the Legion of Doom.
There was hardly any rejoicing after this dark situation, as Maser City had always remained a free-community under the rule of the great Project Pimp, and its people began to fear that without him their freedom would be stripped by those who now ran the Legion of Doom. There were also the many citizens of Maser City who feared the notorious Zax, because of his iron fist, but they were not rejoicing over the mobster's death, as Zax had already ruined their lives beyond the point of fixing. At the main entrance to the Legion of Doom offices, the media was questiong the death of Pimp and whether or not things would change now that he was gone. There was no arguing the death of the Pimpster, as Sheriff Jaguar forwarded his findins from the helicopter crash site.
StarHunter and Shawntallica were now the governing force of Maser City, controlling it as a duo and using the Legion of Doom as mere cover for whatever secret agendas they may have pre-planned. Prior to the death of Project Pimp, both StarHunter and Shawntallica had already gained control of the city under Pimp's nose and manipulating things from behind the scene without him ever knowing what was going on. As the media swarmed their cameras and microphones into StarHunter's face, asking questions non-stop he gave them one simple response.
"People of Maser City," StarHunter announced, "There is nothing for you to fear as we already have the situation under control. We are aware of the rather strange circumstances that brought about Pimp's death, and whether you are a skeptic about it or not, you have nothing to concern yourselves with."
The people took to heart the words spoken aloud by StarHunter, and didn't realize they were being manipulating by the treacherous scondrel and pickpocket. It was like second nature in Maser City, and most of its citizens failed to see that all StarHunter and his newly established Legion of Doom were concerned with seeking personal gain and power, often at the expense of others. Whethere Pimp was gone or not, the city would be turned totally lawless for all practical purposes. StarHunter then annouced to the people, that he and his companions had to depart and be left in peace so they could take care of the situation before the other governments in the Kaiju-Nations could find out. Shawntallica joined up with StarHunter, and they sent in one of their representatives, Monster Master, to have a nice chat with the people.
The situation did not go unnoticed by the Japanese government which had appreciated the addition of the Kaiju Nations to the region's military and economic strength. But then again, Maser City had always been a sore spot with many of the more traditional representatives serving in the Diet. A secret session was quickly held that NO ONE who didn't have a
need to know was alerted to or otherwise made aware of. The concensus was that Maser City would be ignored and hopefully, it would self-destruct under its own volition. There had been too many things against sustaining it after all its years of social laxity under Project Pimp. It had become a nexus of smuggling and bootlegging, often directly at the expense of Japanese enterprises. The fact that the majority of criminal activity was conducted by Zax did not matter to them. It was decided that should Maser City or the Kaiju Nations request assistance directly for the notorious town, Japan would decline, citing
'cultural differences', displeasure with its illegal activities or whatever 'reason' would best fit the bill without alienating the rest of the Consortium.
StarHunter and Shawntallica were holding their own secret meeting within their headquarters established by the late Project Pimp.
"Maser City council now in session," StarHunter annouced, "General Shawntallica, report please."
"The recent events that unfolded in Roostville," Shawntallica answered, "Have caused a sudden panic among the citzens to develop irrationally and spread through the city. We could have suffered Pimp dying, but we had more than just him die and its causing a dilemma to built up in our operations."
"I've negotiated with the other Kaiju Communities," Zillamon51 announced to the group, "Our government has been set back on our special order, er supplement of weaponry, but we've agreed on a price. And the M.C.M. always delivers what it promises. Our entire organization survives upon the keeping of these promises..."
"Good," StarHunter said, "That means the M.C.M. can recover, even with the sudden death of our special operative, Zax, who was assigned to take care of the weapons dealing in these parts. Had Zax died any sooner, perhaps Pimp would've caught on to us but with him dead as well, we can still run the M.C.M. as if nothing ever happened."
"I'm glad that Pimp was killed in a helicopter crash," Shawntallica said, "He found out everything on Zax, all of his secret files. It would have been a matter of days before he learned of our involvement, which would have forced us to murder him and that would cause suspicion among Maser City. Luckily, it was a helicopter crash which brings back no suspicious feelings that will lead the Moderators to us. And now, we're fortunate enough to have benefitted greatly from thsi tragedy, minus the constant media coverage and publicity."
"Excellent, General Shawntallica," StarHunter responded with a cold snicker, "So far everything is playing into our favour and soon enough the M.C.M. will have more control over Maser City than the Legion of Doom ever has."

Re: RVTS Ep. 7: Mephistophelian
In the city of Roostville, Melkor, UberGeek and Yuri were returning gracefully from Mount Rodan where Emperor Antonio had honoured them for their bravery and rewarded them each with a medal symbolizing courage and stamina. The three of them were highly regarded among the Seatopian race as brave and valiant warriors who protected this world, as well as the secrets of Utopia, from the vague forces of darkness that never ceased to lay a finger on trying to capture the Earth Realm's raw power. UberGeek was not sure what power Utopia truly possessed, but he would never allow it to slip into the wrong hands, as long as was still standing.
In light of being honoured by the Emperor of Seatopia, the three of them had been granted the title of sir, as a sign of their knighthood. It was during this time that they held the memorial ceremony in honour of the memory of their fallen friends, Baracylton, Lord Jimifulss James Webster and the others who had fallen to Zax and Apocalypse. There were no bodies for Jimifulss and Webtser, but a tomb with their names on it was placed within the hall of heroes in Antonio's palace. No one would forget these people and how they lost their lives for the greater good of humanity.
The administrators of Maser City, the Legion of Doom, seem to have a firm grip on the present situation that had unfolded and were handling things rather smoothly. It was almost enough to arose suspicion in UberGeek, but then again, the Maser City government had always been a rather 'imperfect' and 'unjustified' establishment in government. The entire town was run by sleezebags and gamblers, or so the stereotypes led anyone who resided in the other Kaiju-Nations to believe. Treachery and deceit was a way of life to its citizens, and crime wasn't much of an issue, that was the image most people saw of the town and little did they realize that there was an even bigger picture to see. Perhaps if the Maser City Mafia hadn't existed the town would have a decent reputation, but that was no longer a problem since Zax was dead, most people had thought. Everyone was completely unaware of the true danger that lurked in Maser City.
UberGeek couldn't concern himself with dwelling on Maser City too much, as he had his own city to run. He still offered Maser City any assistance if they required such, but the present commanders of the Legion of Doom refused to accept any outside help from Roostville or any of the other Kaiju-Nations. UberGeek and Melkor walked through the town like generic people as they passed by many local sites without attention being drawn to them. No one bothered to approach them and question them, Ubergeek noted, and wondered if they had forgotten that Mayor Gamingboy was still locked inside of a coma that he was mysteriously placed in. Perhaps the citizens of Roosvtille hadn't even noticed the drastic change, Ubergeek wondered, or there was the possible that he just had too much on his mind at the moment.
The two pals, Melkor and UberGeek continued their journey to City Hall when they ended up passing the local park, and Ubergeek stopped himself from going any further. The Guardian stared into the park and watched as the families that were enjoying their time suddenly fading from existence and fog began to role in. Two shadows appeared from the fog, and soon their images became clear, it was Khandejifer and Desutoroia waging a war across time and space. There was an explosion as UberGeek was dragged back to reality and out of his dillusion, to find that Khandejifer and Desutoroia were never really there. It was all just in his mind.
"Uber," Melkor asked, "Is something the matter?"
His friend merely nodded his response as he watched the park, and admired the small number of families enjoying the bright, warm day and then he walked away. As the two ventured up the street, neither of them were saying much to each other and Melkor began to wonder what was up with his friend? UberGeek was lost in himself and came to another stop on the sidewalk. Melkor noticed that UberGeek was staring at one of the closed shops, but through UberGeek's eyes it was still an open business. In UberGeek's mind, he see the image of Kaiju-O Gojira walking into the shop and then a mysterious figure wrapped inside of a cloak creeped up behind him and killed him. UberGeek reached out his hand to aid Kaiju-O Gojira, until he was shot back to reality and realized that man had been dead for a long time now.
Whichever spot that UberGeek walked through where an evil act or deed was committed, his Guardian powers seemed to enable him to relive the incident in a sense. UberGeek looked around amazed at his new found powers, yet wasn't sure it was something that he wanted to have, as it was uncontrollable and all he had to do was walk through a place where someone enacted an evil crime and he would see that moment transpire in his mind. Getting a call at his office that a dead body had washed up was enough for him to handle, did he really want to see what brought it there? For the moment UberGeek was unsure and decided to keep it all secret.
"Are you sure that you're OK," Melkor questioned again, "Something's bothering you Uber, I can tell."
"Listen Mel," UberGeek said with a fierce tone, "Its nothing."
Finally, UberGeek and Melkor reached their destination late in the evening, the City Hall. It was passed seven o'clock and soon it would be going on for eight o'clock but UberGeek had some 'work' that he desperately needed to catch up on in his short absence from the offices of City Hall. UberGeek stepped inside of the Council Chamber and found it was completely deserted this day so he sat down and decided to escape from reality and dwell into his thoughts a little more. While this was going on, Melkor had left for the Moderator Station to report for duty now that he was no longer on vacation for saving the world, and what not. UberGeek was all alone inside of City Hall.
Approximately twenty-five minutes later, UberGeek found himself venturing to his office and searching through his desk. The Guardian was trying to find his cell phone which he had miss-placed, and the last time he could've sworn he had seen it was here in his office. Suddenly his attention was dragged to the large window behind his desk which over looked the entire city of Roostville, and it was there that UberGeek spotted the falling star in the sky. It was a small meteor of sorts, and UberGeek seemed to stand there in a daze as he admired it greatly, as he never witnessed many shooting stars in his youth. Both his eyes blinked as he saw a blinding flash, and noted that the meteor chunk had crashed on the Earth near the outskirts of Maser City. It seemed so harmless in the night, no one ever would've expected the true danger that lurked there. And not suspecting anything dangerously to Roostville, Ubergeek, after finding his cell phone, made sure to call Miyako and then proceeded to head home for the night.
Meanwhile, on the outskirts of Maser City, in the small forest area close to where Jimifulss' hut used to be located, another hobo had ventured out there in that general area after witnessing the falling star from above. There was a small fire burning in the center of the woods, and the flames whispered like the devil and seemed to summon the poor hobo. The infernal flares glared with keenness, affection and brightness like no other streak of light in the nothern sky. The old hobo crept towards the small crator that was creating upon impact and looked in to see the meteor which was only a bit larger than the average human. The old hobo figured the rest of the meteor burnt up in the atmosphere, and that this was all that was left of it.
The outer shell of the meteor began to break a part from its core, and pieces of rock were sent flying everywhere. The flying rocks were travelling fast enough to pierce through the trees that had stood here on these grounds for hundreds of years and literally 'cut' them down. A loud scream was heard, and the hobo began to get frightened and tried to run away before his life could be placed into great peril, unware that it was already too late for him. A black arm of stainless steel with sharp claws reached itself forward, creeping out of the crator, it grabed unto the hobo and began to drag him into the depths of its fiery home. Moments later, Mephistophelian The Destroyer of Civilizations, emerged himself from the crator and let out a fierce roar of power!
Looking back into the crator, Mephistophelian saw the worthless hermit begging to be set free, begging to be helped up from his grave. The Destroyer of Civilizations was not to grant mercy to his enemies, and had no plans of the helping of the poor hermit unless it meant truly putting him out of his misery. Mephistophelian placed his arm forward, and the foolish hobo thought that Mephistophelian was trying to help him up, until the Destroyer of Civilizations released a blast of Hellfire and negative energy from his palms which completely obliterated the bum. The crator was now a pit representing the personification of Hell on Earth. Mephistophelian smiled as he saw the hobo's soul wither into nothingness.
"Ah, at long last, the Fates have answered my vile prayers," Mephistophelian said to himself as he admired the area around him, "I have been returned to Roostville, and now I shall seek revenge on those who usurped me of my rightful destiny. Victimizing the God of absolution, the god of those who do not dare to be. The murder of the mute god, who never was. Rule God of Darkness!"
Flowing from Maser City was a great force of evil, that Mephistophelian could feel drawing him closer. He could feel it like the touch of a women, a powerful plot that could assist his dream of destroying his enemies within Roostville, and it required of him was to investigate Maser City. Whatever it was that was unfolding, Mephistophelian could easily manipulate it to his side without any trouble.
"The jaws of Death open wide. My cold hearth fills again, with the Blood of this doomed mortal's fright," Mephistophelian announced, "Over the loosened paving stones I see, the shadow of a falling Maser City to my will."

Re: RVTS Ep. 7: Mephistophelian
Returning to his prized City Buster, Ubergeek initially felt somewhat at peace with the world as he looked out the huge window he had installed in his quarters. When the original plating of the great ship slid back, it revealed the great city of Roostville stretching before him.
He had not told Miyako of his new powers of being able to see where evil had been when he called her. Considering how much of it there was in the world, he began to understand the great burden the Guardians had thrust upon them.
"Sir Ubergeek, Spawn of Kenny," he said out loud as if he were presenting himself to a fellow Knight of Humanity for the first time. "It has a nice ring to it," he figured.
Melkor and Yuri were no doubt still in awe of the great honor Emperor Antonio had bestowed upon them for their bravery and courage. Even the noble Seatopian general populace had been a bit surprised when the announcement had been made, despite their own noble heritage of being the protectors of the surface world. Uber had pledged to protect it and Utopia as long as he was able to draw a breath.
Still, the memorial ceremony honoring Baracylton and James Webster had provided a harsh counterpoint to the pomp and pageantry that had preceded it. It had been as elaborate as if a head of state had departed the mortal plane, yet Ubergeek saw the need for such display, just as firefighters and police still staged similarly traditional and elaborate public honors for their departed comrades.
Lord Jimifulss may have simply assumed his title as an honorary one but he had been a hero to Roostville through his generosity and friendship to everyone he came in contact with. No, no one would forget those who had lost their lives for the greater good of humanity.
The Guardian could not see Maser City from where he stood but it was on his mind, as was the entire Kaiju Nations. Strange that
a shooting star should bring his attention to the place, he mused. He picked up the newspapers he had brought from his office and looked at them, especially the Maser City coverage. The Chronicle's prominent spread on Zax didn't make sense, considering what Project Pimp had revealed at the meeting that had sent so many law enforcement officers to their deaths. It only mentioned allegations of Zax being connected to illegal activities without any details whatsoever. Considering the tremendous scope of his operations and their impact on other nations, how could such a thing be possible?
The media had been out in force among the residents to get their reactions to Pimp's death and the results of his ongoing investigation from the moment the news was released. It had been very upsetting to many who were even ashamed and embarrassed for their town, despite its often uncivilized approach to about everything. There had been very little rejoicing that finally, the master criminal had been revealed for what he was and now, there seemed to be an even greater sense of fear among nearly everyone in the city.
It just didn't make sense to Uber until he remembered the aftermath of the Comedy and Tragedy killings.
"If it happened once, can it not happen again?" many in Roostville had asked each other.
About the only ones who had expressed any optimism for Maser City's future was the Legion of Doom. He and Melkor had personally met with Star Hunter and Shawntallica and returned Pimp's gold mayoral badge of office. They were now governing the city and assured him that everything was under control. Despite the RBI advising about the stand the Japanese government had taken in Maser City, Uber still offered any assistance they might require but was politely turned down. Yes, the Legion of Doom's inablility to stop or even realize the extent of Zax's illegal activities had been a blot on everyone's record as far as enforcing the laws of the land went but when Pimp finally got the evidence he needed, he promptly notified Roostville and set things in motion to bring the criminal to justice. The extensive records of the crime boss were still being analyzed and it would be a good while before the true scope of his various operations would be revealed, as well as who else might have been involved.
"We are NOT infallible," he had reminded Bagoth when he delivered the news but now, Ubergeek had a different view of things, no doubt as a direct result of the great responsibilities his new title had placed on his shoulders when he kneeled to receive the touch of Emporer Antonio's golden sword. As late as it was, he called the detective at his home and requested he come to the City Buster. Raptor, Angilas, Cam Eleon, Enshohma and Sheriff Jaguar were also summoned. When they arrived, he awaited them in the "War Room" of the great structure. As expected, his loyal officers were a little taken aback by the setting but took their places around a small conference table.
"I have summoned you here for your insight on the present situation in Maser City," he began. He updated everyone on the news from Japan and what he had observed about the town. "Something doesn't fit," he continued. "Co-Governors Star Hunter and Shawntallica do not seem to be in touch with the citizens of their city, nor is the press now reflecting what was revealed about Zax's criminal activities. His actions went far beyond pirate over-the-air broadcasting, harboring fugitive Spammerites and petty theft. Detective Bagoth and the RBI no doubt have quite extensive files of their own on the Maser City Mafia and its members. As Pimp's findings are further analyzed, their information will no doubt greatly increase.
"But for now, I would like to hear each of your takes on what we might be facing." Other than Jet Jaguar and Bagoth, those addressed were once again taken by surprise and deferred to Jet, no doubt due to his superior intellect. The Sheriff stood and nodded to the Mayor.
"It is my analysis that the Legion of Doom is not sufficiently staffed to govern effectively due to the great losses they suffered at Mt. Rodan. As a result, the lawlessness that has always been a mainstay of the Maser City population will become even more rampant and over run the town. No doubt, the Spammerites in particular will band together and seek to spread their particular brand of anarchy to other areas." The robot looked around the table and his Mods nodded in agreement. Raptor spoke next.
"It is my belief that what social order that does exist in Maser City will collapse. Rather than having come together as a group of like minded individuals as was the case since the founding of Roostville, Maser City is a den of rebels and outcasts for the most part. As such, they only think of themselves, not the greater good of their community. Without the strong presence of the Legion of Doom to somewhat control their greedy indifference, the stronger and more viscious amongst them will seek to overthrow the weaker elements, be they their neighbors or the Legion itself.
"Not content with the destruction this will no doubt cause to their immediate environment, they will also seek out new conquests simply to sustain themselves. I cannot but see Maser City as a threat to the wellbeing of the rest of the Kaiju Nations at this point in time." Raptor seemed most assured this would be the case and simply nodded to Ubergeek before resuming her seat. Looking about, she noted the silent agreement of the others as they kept their heads down, no doubt considering her interpretation as well as the notes they pretended to stare at.
Angilas quickly stood to fill the silent void the impact his fellow Mod had left. "It is my belief we will have a similar situation as we did to the 2014 April Fool's stunt that took place with the supposed shut down of all media.
"People rely heavily on what they consider 'normal', be they basic necessities or frivilous. You take anything out of their little mix and they become stressed. This is when they are most likely to unduly panic and do something stupid, to put it bluntly.
"In the case of Maser City, what little government they had has been effectively eliminated on the battlefield of Mt. Rodan. I have reviewed the reactions of the general populace and sense a great deal of uncertainty on their part. They seem to fear the future for some reason more than should be the case with their particular 'culture', or lack thereof. There have yet to be the riots and pillaging you would expect of these type of people. Why are they not celebrating the downfall of whatever chains that might have bound their desire for lawlessness and anarchy? What is REALLY going on with that place?" he asked, looking directly at everyone present. When there were no answers forthcoming, he reluctantly sat back down. Bagoth had nothing to add as he had been summoned by Ubergeek to simply hear what the others had to say about the situation and possibly add it to the RBI's more widespread considerations of the Kaiju Nations as a whole. Uber somehow could not get the notion out of his head that whatever was going on with Maser City just involved that part of the continent, especially in light of the extensive operations Zax Industries had established.
That left Cam and Enshohma. The Fire Monster deferred to his junior partner and the Mod slowly collected his thoughts.
Looking at Uber who smiled and nodded for him to proceed, he figured he had been included due to his lack of the extensive background the others had on the doings of the other Kaiju Nations. Other than Monsterzeroville and Roostville, he did not really know the different cultures that had established themselves and flourished in the various towns. Often, his world was one of fantasy when he was working in television, even when the news was being broadcast.
"As for military strategies and social diseases such as spamming, I don't think I can offer much in those areas but I will say this about what I've noticed in the media reports coming out of Maser City: It is as canned as it can get. Lie Ang mentioned with the ploy that was pulled on April Fool's, you control the media and you control the minds of your citizens. Has anyone talked to James Ballard over at the Chronicle? That paper reads like it's a Chamber of Commerce promotion for Zax rather than a proper tribute to Project Pimp! And look at the TV coverage of these Star Hunter and Shawntallica characters! Wasn't Star Hunter a Spammerite? Now he's coming across like a used car salesman, and not a very believable one at that!" The young, lone Sentai Mod was clearly frustrated by his inability to figure out just what was wrong with the whole Maser City situation and how to make it right, whatever THAT might mean.
Enshohma had picked up on his growing distress and also stood.
"At least they do not have any resident Kaiju among their population who might see this as an ideal time to just flatten the place and turn it into a free range, devoid of gaudy buildings blotting the landscape and noisy Spammerites running all over the place. It is my opinion that the uncivilized louts will see the error of their ways and seek to spread their malaise to the other Kaiju Nations. This I do not want to see. Should it be decided that simply wiping Maser City off the map is a viable option, I'm sure it can be arranged." The Emperor of Fire Monsters received a respectful nod from the Guardian at the head of the table as he sat back down.
"I will definitely keep that option in mind," Ubergeek assured him. As drastic as it might seem, maybe it could serve as a good object lesson to the rest of the world. But did might make right? If Maser City was destroyed, what would become of its many citizens? A massive social readjustment effort would have to be put in place to educate them to the established norms of modern society. Many were basically illiterate, judging from the posts they made on their intranet forums. Even family units in Maser City were not structured as one would expect. Youngsters behaved worse there than any other broods Uber had ever seen, even at the Ogasawara Preserve! It was a long, slow process of assimilating a former resident of Maser City into community life in any other of the Kaiju Nations.
"What do you think, Raptor?" Uber asked when his mind boggled at the prospect. "You have extensive knowledge of social orders."
"Yes, and the ones we are no doubt thinking of and most familiar with also have extensive HERITAGE. THAT is what sustains them. In the case of Maser City, the residents' desire to maintain individuality is not condusive to co-ordinated interaction. They came there as rebels and outcasts and desire to remain so. I can only suggest that should Maser City be vacated, its denizens be promptly coralled and shipped off to remote 'adjustment' facilities, beginning with the Raptor lands. There, they will be 'socialized' whether they like it or not. As they progress, possibly Kong Town would be the next step where they once again can function in a 'modern' environment. Its residents also have a solid basic scial structure they should now be able to comprehend. Drastic? Yes, but if it comes to that, the dreaded Spammerite should be no more. It seems to me that underlying the make-up of everyone who has spent any time in Maser City has been affected by this cursed germ that is fed by a desire to spread itself via electronic means every chance it gets. Take the host away from its 'carrier' for an extended period of time and it should die out. It is a rogue element and has been since the dawn of mass communications. Its first manifestation dates back to the town gossip that must justify its existence by injecting itself into every level of society but without adding anything to it other than static and disruption."
Every eyeball in the room was now wide open and alert to what she was saying as those of non-reptilian heritage saw the world in an entirely different light. Cam's mouth was actually hanging open and Bagoth was smiling, one of the very few times anyone had seen him do so.
Raptor also smiled but it was one of assurance. "And THAT is what we have here with Maser City and the reason for this little meeting. There is great concern about the place, as there should be. I hope we have been of some assistance to Mayor Ubergeek in this matter." She bowed to him and sat down.
"That about sums up where we stand, I think. We will need to keep an ear toward Maser City as we deal with getting Roostville back to normal after what has just occured as a result of the latest foray by the denizens of dark and evil places. At least Mephistophelian is out of the picture," he concluded. On that note, everyone had a reason to agree with an assessment and soon departed. Tomorrow would be another day, thanks to the combined efforts of the Guardians and mere citizens alike.
Uber pushed the button that would draw the panels of his window closed after the meeting had adjourned and drifted off to sleep, assured that at least Roostville was in good hands.
*****
Sheriff Jaguar was not ready to go offline just yet and had his Mods and Bagoth follow him to Maser City.
There was no need for lights or sirens on the marked cruisers in the little procession but they were given a wide berth by the locals as soon as they reached the city limits. Pulling up to City Hall where JJ had called ahead to meet with Shawntallica and Star Hunter, a crowd slowly assembled to observe the visitors from Roostville. At the same time, they casually surveyed them, hoping to pick up any clues of their present state of mind. The general consensus was one of fear and tension, but not necessarily toward the lawmen themselves or what they represented.
The party nooded to the crowd and went inside to the Mayor's office.
"You really didn't need to make the trip all the way out here, Sheriff," Shawntallica greeted Jet and his party, pleased to see them and friendly enough.
"I felt it was my duty to also offer any assistance you may need, either immediately or in the future," Jet explained again. "I am well aware of the great number of casualties your staff has suffered recently. Myself and my officers are part of their brotherhood and only wish to continue to uphold peace and order in their home town."
"A noble offer, indeed, Sheriff!" Star Hunter acknowledged. "I assure you, we do have a cintingency plan in place just for such a situation. Again, we thank you and Mayor Ubergeek for your concerns for the people of Maser City. Really, at this time we should be just fine, thanks to all of you and the Guardians." With that, everyone bid farewell and the goodwill ambassadors departed.
Outside, the crowd had grown even bigger but kept its distance. Jet led his squad rapidly back to the Mod Station where they had a quick debriefing.
"I don't like it," Bagoth spoke for them all. "Something just isn't right with anything in that town."
"I agree," Raptor added. "Those folks standing there staring at us was outright eerie!"
"Reminds me of a bad zombie B-movie," Cam figured. "What happened to all the loud music and racing up and down the streets like lunatics the place had previously been noted for? Were those just pod people or clones we were seeing?"
Enshohma had gotten an excellent reading on Maser City. "No such luck, Cam. They are themselves but the smell of fear permeated the air. Of what, I do not know as I sensed no other presence in the burg other than the usual signature such a group would give off. You, Detective?" He asked the mage.
"Nothing," Bagoth replied, shaking his head. I also did not sense any strange entities present."
"Then I guess we can only see what develops," Jet concluded. "I thank you all for putting in the overtime. Our mission was a failure but we tried." He then dismissed them and headed to his Robotica Mansion for the rest of the night. Whatever was going to happen next might be more evident in the morning.

Re: RVTS Ep. 7: Mephistophelian
Later that night at the docking ports of Maser City, a group of criminals and smugglers were managing a small illegal operation under the directions of StarHunter. There was a boat in the docking port and StarHunter ordered them to remove the boxes contained inside and moved them to the warehouse that was located lose by, he told them that trucks would arrive soon enough to ship the boxes out by early morning. The boxes were filled with cocaine and other illegal drugs that StarHunter planned for his organization to benefit from with lots of profit. A few of the gangs from outside of Maser City were planning one of the biggest coke deals in history, and StarHunter had every intention of being the one to benefit the most from this deal.
Moments passed when the sounds of foot steps came creeping inward, and some of the smugglers dropped the boxes and got out their guns, ready to shoot down the tresspasser. StarHunter was smarter then them and had more of an education so he singled for them to put their fire arms away and get back to work immediately. The creeping footsteps of the unknown had been identified to StarHunter, as his partner in crime, Shawntallica. StarHunter had the unigue ability to match the different variants between different people's footsteps, and match them with their faces. It was almost like a distinct identification code, and every man on the planet had one to call his own.
"Is everything proceeding well?" Shawntallica asked the criminal genius, as he stepped into the light, "And on schedule too, I might add."
"Those bubbleheaded Moderators are a hard load to deal with, at times," StarHunter pointed out, "But you did witness how well I diverted their suspicion away from us. The fools are completely clueless to involvement with the Maser City Mafia, that has been calling all the shots from ghetto. This little smuggling operation we managed to plot together seems to proceeding well, as always."
The treacherous StarHunter felt nothing but pure confidence in his deadly schemes for the future of his nation, and his small smuggling operations and illegal deals were of little importance. True, it was an easier way for him and his cronies to make a bigger profit, which is why StarHunter and Shawntallica always got involved with the local drug lords and thugs, but their real dreams where all in controlling the political parties the ran the system. It was no secret to the world, the system worked against most people and had failed, and StarHunter merely planned to liberate the politicians around him but first he had to manipulate them and pull their strings like a puppet master controlling from behind the throne. Once the Maser City Mafia was in full control of the power running Maser City, StarHunter and Shawntallica would be on the verge of running a small empire within the Kaiju Nations. An empire of legalized terrorism and extortion.
"How are things on your end," StarHunter demanded of his associate, "Have you taken the neseccary precautions in reassuring our best interests?"
"I have StarHunter, so there is little to fear," Shawntallica replied, "But, in the unlucklihood, that we are discovered I have already infiltrated the federal archives of the CSI, NSA, and FBI. If we are discovered, the records proving our existence will be 'terminated', and as far the government is concerned: We don't exist. Giving us time to recover and mask our identities so that after long awaited time, we shall be able to strike again."
"Excellent work," StarHunter said as he gave his associate a pat on the back, "That will leave the executives of Exclusive Enterprises, the ones to take the blame and fall for our deeds. They will be the ones who spend the rest of their lives rotting behind bars in a rusted cell while he reap the benefits and profit from this charitable project. Its a pity Zax won't be around to witness this grand future for the Maser City Mafia!"
The day of victory for StarHunter and Shawntallice, the rise of the Maser City Mafia, and the fall of democracy the Kaiju Nations had always known was coming and how else for the two evil genius' behind the notorious plan to celebrate, then a quiet chuckle as they stood near the docks where their minions were carrying out their illegal operations without a second thought as to what could happen to them if they were to be caught. On the other hand, things had going just as Shawntallica and StarHunter had precisely predicated and the two continued with their anticipatory snicker of triumph. Nothing could stand in the way of their grand scheme, they felt sure of it, and then came the sound of a gun being loaded up with bullets and theit quiet laughter came to a stop.
"I knew something wasn't right with this town," Bagoth said with a sly gesture, with his gun aimed forward as he revealed himself to StarHunter and Shawntallica, "I knew I could smell a rat. Two dirty, stinkin' rats! I'm sorry to announce, you're not going anywhere with this crazy conspiracy. You two have the right to remain silent, anything you say can and will be used against you."
"Officer, officer, officer," StarHunter said as he smelt the fear off of Bagoth's voice, "General Shawntallica and I, aren't the rats in this town, that would be you. A scared little rat with a useless gun. I'm afraid this all the play time we have for today, though, officer. You die. NOW."
That was StarHunter's signal command to his minions to kill the invading Roostville spy immediately, no questions asked. StarHunter wasn't about to let his Imperial status be swiped away and usurped by a cop from out of town, he had came too far in his plans to let it all go to waste. And just as he ordered, the servants of the Maser City Mafia dropped their cargo and began to shoot aimlessly at the miserable Bagoth. The Moderator fired a few shots back, and the two dictators of the Maser City Mafia, nearly got caught in the cross fire as Bagoth leapt into some bushes close by.
"He's over there," Shawntallica shouted, "I want him found, brought to me, and decapitated before my very eyes!"
It was too late now for Bagoth to get back to his patrol unit and send out a message to headquarters, requesting back-up, he had to make his stand here and possibly die trying to stop a group of thugs from subverting the goverment of Maser City and quite possibly, the rest of the Kaiju Nations. From the bushes, Bagoth could see StarHunter and Shawn running towards the warehouse where the drugs were being kept, and on the count of three he got up and made a run for it through the cross fire to reach that warehouse. He leapt for sky as he dodged through all the bullets being fired directly at him. StarHunter caught on to the Moderator's plan to sneak up on him, but was forced to order his troops to cease fire as Bagoth got a hold of Shawn and was holding him hostage on the spot.
"I guess you won't be seeing my decapitated head, General," Bagoth proclaimed as he held his gun against Shawn's throat, "Order your men to put their guns down and place their hands above their heads. Now, General!"
"I think not, officer," Shawntallica said with a fierce voice, "Guards, prepare to fire on my command! When I give the order open fire, even if it means I must die alongside this American rat. Dying for the greater glory of the Maser City Mafia, might just be worth it. Guards, open fire!"
It was at that moment that Shawn and StarHunter's henchmen opened fire at Bagoth, who held tightly onto Shawntallica's body and used it as a shield to protect him from the gun fire. And just when the guards ran out of bullets and were forced to reload their weapons, Bagoth dropped Shawntallica's body and made a run to safety. StarHunter yelled furiously as he ordered to his men to go out back of the warehouse and hunt down that Moderator before he escaped Maser City. StarHunter made it clear to them that the Moderator needed to die because of the disturbing information he has of the Mafia's plan to subvert the politics of Maser City. Shawntallica rose up from the dead as the guards disappeared into the night.
"Bullet proof vests," Shawntallica noted, "Useful assets in this often adrenaline pumping business. Now, that miserable rat from Roostville hasn't escaped has he?"
"Unfortunately, he managed to elude us," StarHunter said quietly, "But I made sure the guards understand that it was especially important that he be exterminated before he can be allowed to escape out clutches."

Re: RVTS Ep. 7: Mephistophelian
The area surrounding the Maser City ports were dark and covered in trees and grass fields that didn't last long before reaching the industrial regions of the city, but Bagoth couldn't risk running out in the open fields where'd he mostly assuredly make himself visible to his foes. Instead, Bagoth had to keep his enemies closer than some of his own friends, and tried to move slowly and quietly to make his way back to his patrol unit because it was imperative that he send out a message to the Mod Headquarters in Roostville. Sheriff Jaguar had to be informed of the true conspiracy that was unfolding in Maser City before it was too late, and Bagoth already had the death sentence on his head so it was going to be a difficult mission for him.
"He's over here," shouted some of the guards, "No, he's this way! I can smell the foul stench of Roostville slime in the air!"
Bagoth crept around some of the trees and bushes near his position and came to the disturbing conclusion that the guards had unknowingly surrounded him, they were on every side of him and as long as he didn't move they would never know for sure that he was there. The hard edged Moderator managed to mask his breathing, but he couldn't stop the cold sweat from drowning his forehead. He kept really low and peeked his head out to see that half of the guards that had him surrounded only moments ago were returning to the warehouse while only two troops stayed behind to keep up the search for him. Bagoth quickly got up and made a ran for it passed a few trees, but it was unavoidable to not be heard.
"I see him," one of the guards yelled, "He's heading towards the cop car!"
The guards raised their weapons, some of them were carrying Assualt Rifles and some were equipped with fast rapid fire guns, and they blasted everything that was within sight. Bagoth's adrenaline was pumping beyond wild as he pushed himself to the limits of what he could ran and travelled far passed the limitations of his endurance, dodging bullets behind trees like mad. For Bagoth this was merely another form of survival, and to the guards, it was just another video game to play for their personal amusement. Hiding behind a tree, Bagoth admired his gun with much awe, and noted he only had one bullet left and none to reload with, the rest where in car.
"Nowhere to run now Mr. Fancy Pants," howlered one of guards with an Aussie accent, "You're as good as dead!"
It was at that moment that Bagoth willingly surrounded himself to the guards, who took him back to the warehouse hangar alive. They had his hands tied behind his head, and threw him to his knees as he was presented before Generals, Shawntallica and StarHunter. The two Generals were not happy to see that the pest from Roostville was unharmed minus a scratch or two obtained from his failed attempting at fleeing the scene. StarHunter looked down at the wretched spy with much disgust, but now that he had been brought before the two Generals, Shawntallica's request to have Bagoth decapitated before his very eyes could be fulfilled.
"Very good my minute minions," Shawntallica congradulated with much enthusiasm, "Now kill him."
"Wait a minute," Bagoth demanded nervously, "I surrendered willingly, after much force. You wouldn't mistreat a prisoner who surrendered willingly? I have constitutional rights!"
"Amusing, to see a cop beg for his life just the same way a petty thief begs for his," StarHunter noted, "However, I am afraid to admit that you have nothing to offer us, and you already know too much. We'll just have to execute you the same way I had Zax terminate Pimp's little spy, SpaceGamera."
"SpaceGamera?" Bagoth questioned, "But he was a Legion of Doom officer, just as you are, Huntie! How could you murder one of your own like that?"
"It was rather simplistic," Shawntallica added, "The snoop had already exploited Zax for what he really was, and came pretty damn close to discovering StarHunter, and I. Whether he was a friend or not, was irrelevant. He was not a part of the M.C.M. and needed to face death."
"Guards," StarHunter commanded as he took one final glimpse at Bagoth, "Take this vermin outside and carry out the execution!"
Bagoth was dragged outside by his feet as StarHunter and Shawntallica continued on with their anticipatory snicker of triumph that the Roostville Mod had rudely interupted with his unwanted presence, sticking his nose in affairs that weren't his own. It was capital punishment as the Mod was dragged down to the docks. StarHunter's goonies were big on recreating fancy murder scenes, and besides, this was Maser City, they could easily get away with murder in a city like this one. That was probably one of the many reasons the city was so looked down upon by the rest of the Kaiju nations, but none of that mattered anymore. The Maser City Mafia was going to change all of that.
"So, what are we going to do with him," one of the goons asked, "Stick 'em in the fryin' pan and eat 'em?"
"Hows 'bout we pour some gasoline on 'em," the other suggested, "And as we walk away throw a match on him!"
"Sounds rather delicious!"
The eerie mist and fog started to creep forwards and surround the docks, as one of the two goons left to get gasoline that was going to be used in the mutilating death of Bagoth. The two goons were ordered to kill Bagoth, and how they did it was there business, and they planned to watch him burn alive. Certainly not the most vulgar death these guys had seen before, but it was most assuredly going to be amusing for them. While waiting for his buddy to return with the gasoline, the guard who stayed behind to watch Bagoth took out a smoke and lite it. After a few puffs he looked down at his watch and noted the time.
"My, my, my," He said aloud, "Fifteen minutes? Sphynx shoulda been back by now! Where could he be?"
"Maybe he's dead," Bagoth nervously muttered.
"Yeah," the guard said as he grapped the tied up cop by his shirt's collar, "Well if he is, you'll be joining him. Have fun sleeping with the fishes!"
The big goon dropped Bagoth, as he felt the shivers of a cold shill creeping down his scaly spine, as the fog thickened around them. Bagoth looked up and noted that there was now a sudden look of fear on the thug's face as if he'd seen something almost horrific and frightening. The guard could feel the presence of something unearthly in his presence, as for Bagoth, he wasn't really sure of what was going on. The only fear inside of Bagoth, was the fear that he may not live passed this day. And that's when Bagoth and the guard watching over him both heard the agonizing scream in the far off distance.
"Slade," The guard shouted as he ran off, but he didn't managed to run to far as he stopped dead cold in his wretched tracks. Through the fog and the mist he spotted the severed arm of a human on the ground, and blood was in the dirt. Instead of running back to the warehouse where the Generals were awaiting, the guard foolishly ran back to the docks to grab the prisoner and escape. Every couple of feet he stepped, he'd turn around and fire his gun off... Something was out there, men don't just randomly lose an arm.
"What the Hell?" Bagoth demanded as the guard returned, but he did not receive an answer. The guard had been scared shitless by whatever he witnessed, and continued to fire off his gun into the fog hoping that he'd hit whatever it was that viciously attacked and more than likely killed his pal, Slade. In the warehouse, the sound of the gun fire was loud enough to be heard and instead of dispatching guards to investigate, the Generals were unwise to examine the situation themselves.
"Die," the guard shouted as he fired off his gun some more. Evil and demonic red eyes appeared in the mist, "DIE!"
"Oh my God," Bagoth murmured as he saw monstrous claws crawling out of the mist and tear the guard, literally, in half. His mouth dropped open in awe of the horrific sight that transpired before his very eyes. It was well orchestrated like the bizarre murder in a slasher film, only this murder was not the product work of a sick director's imagination, it was horrifying real. The creature that had slain Bagoth's captors was humanoid and enourmous, his body appeared to be made of immense black titanium. Its eyes were the colour of blood, lacking any pupils, and seemed to call out to Bagoth in envy.
"We are the Fallen Ones, Angels Who came when the virgin choir opened their delicate lips," spoke the evil entity, "Mocking Holy retribution. Defecating on a heaven for slaves. Their experience, a proud shield of sin, the Devil, the King! God of Darkness You rule perpetual!"
"Oh no," Bagoth gasped as the face of evil came clear into view.
"What was before, shall be again, for Mephistophelian has returned," The Destroyer of Civilizations announced to the rest of the world, "Awe, terror, disease. Demons rule in the Devil's land. I am the Devil, and this is my land."
With Bagoth's hands tied behind his back, there was no way he could reach for his gun and try to hold off Mephistophelian without dying. His adrenaline had reached its maximum and he couldn't take anymore, and there no more aternatives left for the Moderator now. Laying down on the warf he was given two choices, roll his body leftwards into the water and try to escape, or roll his body rightwards and try to escape. Whichever he planned on doing, he had better hurry because Mephistophelian was in close enough range to utterly obliterate the cop into the banks of oblivion.
"Look into a mirror and see what you are. Look into a black mirror and see what you’ll become. What you’ll see are black images of Death. Ghostly illusions of false immortality," Mephistophelian lectured to Bagoth, "Your senses tell you, you are still alive. Are you living in Hell as a slave or master ? Do you listen when your name is called or do you ignore those voices? Was it yourself or them who called you? Can you solve the puzzles, what awaits you after solutions you think were correct? Sadness on you part as you find out the sacrifices were worth it."
The shouting voices of Generals Shawntallica and StarHunter managed to distract Mephistophelian was swooping down and killing Bagoth, which gave the tied up detective enough time to roll his body leftwards, towards the edge of the warf and into the cold, cold water that surrounded it.
"The Roostafarian spy managed to get a way," Shawntallica said in a rather angered and tone, "And what is this creature that lurks in his place? A problem?"
"He maybe a problem whatever he is," StarHunter noted as he aimed his gun, "But he's nothing a silenced walther can not fix."
With the eerie fog and the darkness of the night, through the eyes of StarHunter and Shawntallica, Mephistophelian appeared less humanoid, and more like a divine creature of the night. His presence was similar to that of a mysterious and threatening animal that stalked innocent sheep within the cold boundaries of the frigid night. The face of the Destroyer of Civilizations was not clear, but his eyes glew a bright red with great envy. Through fear and confidence StarHunter pulled the trigger and fired a few quick and easy shots aimed directly for Mephistophelian's head. The demon merely out stretched his hand, and used his demonic magic to stop the bullets and sent them falling to the ground.
"What kind of illusory is this madness?" StarHunter questioned with quaking fear.
"I bid thee welcome; behold thy majesty," Mephistophelian said as he decided to introduce himself to the two corrupt Generals presented before him. He could sense a great deal of evil within these two, and was able to foresee both their past, and future, and he could sense that these two would excellent allies in his plans of vengeance against the people of Roostville, "Let Darkness shine anew. Kindness be gone. Pity be gone. Behold; I am Mephistophelian The Conqueror, and well known as the Destroyer of Civilizations."

Re: RVTS Ep. 7: Mephistophelian
Bagoth once again shivered, but this time with the cold of the frigid water he found himself in. Luckily for him, Mephistophelian had taken more interest in Generals Shawntallica and Star Hunter than the very frightened investigator who was now presumed to have drowned.
He had never seen or felt such evil manifested in the guise of a single entity before. Indeed, it was the devil incarnate. When the opportunity to escape presented itself, he quickly took it, slipping off the dock and into the murky water.
The archmage had not intended that his further investigation of the Maser City Mafia be discovered but he believed Mayor Ubergeek had been quite right in his concerns. Corruption truly ran deep in the city known for its excesses. By not revealing the extent of his powers and surrendering so easily when discovered, he had let the egotistical ringleaders think they had him. The ruse had paid off handsomely, for now he knew the true extent of their corruption. Despite Shawntallica's claimed success in hacking into government databases and threat to destroy any records linking them to criminal activities, their own admissions would bring them down, if the demon who now stood on the dock didn't destroy them first.
His hands now free, Bagoth quietly swam away from the eerie setting. "Shawntallica and Star Hunter are on their own," he figured.

Re: RVTS Ep. 7: Mephistophelian
StarHunter and Shawntallica stared erroneously into Mephistophelian's blood-stained eyes. The demonic truth that was hidden behind those eyes was enough to drive a sane man into an eternal state of pure insanity, but it was not enough to fracture the minds of StarHunter, and Shawntallica. Mephistophelian's gaze was enough to kill a mere mortal men, yet the two crime lords were immune to such a death because of the great evil that was contained within the roots of their antagonizing black souls. Together, StarHunter and Shawntallica's evil ways were no match for the Destroyer of Civilizations, but their evil was quite unworldly and frightening. It was strong and Mephistophelian was able to feed off its richness and wealth, and it was refilling to his already dead and decaying soul.
"What in God's name are you?" StarHunter demanded as he slowly lowered his gun, and then dropped it.
"I am nothing in God's name," the demon responded, "I am the creater and I am the destroyer that still is me. I carry the eys seen and all eyes unseen are mine eyes. My gazes are those of the Gods, my eyes are those of many. Everywhere those eyes, I have looked and still look at you. Th eye and the many eyes are mine, all have my powers. My powers influence and change all. See my eyes and feel them stare at you... All of them and I present you knowledge of fear.. I carry your fears within, for We are many. Many that is all We. In this flesh that houses me, all are and more."
It was a puzzle that Mephistophelian had spoken aloud to allude to himself through dark metaphors, claiming himself to be the creater.. the God, of evil. His riddles were quite odd, and had to understand for Mephistophelian spoke in the most strangest of tongue, but somehow the two crime lords seemed to understand everything this demon said. StarHunter and Shawntallica were one with Mephistophelian now, the two completely unaware that their desires, dreams and destinies were now being linked and shared with this demonic stranger. Mephistophelian was channelling through their souls, and into their minds working on a way to pawn the two under his will, as slaves for the rest of eternity. Into the eyes of Mephistophelian they stared again, and inside his eyes they saw the most horrific and frightening of images and began to fully understand everything.
"Yes, yes," StarHunter said with a sickeningly evil whisper, "It's all beginning to make sense now."
"There is nothing that you can withhold from me," Mephistophelian noted, "The eyes unseen that are mine see all, the truth and the lies. You are slaves to my will, blessed by me as worshippers of dark miracles. When you were deceived from the light of good as mere my children, it was my voice you were hearing. Twas I who lured who away from your benevolent savior, and to the path of great darkness."
Trickery was best on part of Mephistophelian, and it worked extremely well for in his manipulation of StarHunter, and Shawntallica. His words were so cunning, and sharp that they could cut through bricks of steel and stone, and deceived the crime lord rulers of Maser City were. Mephistophelian had deceived the two into thinking that he was the biblical Devil, and twisted their memories around so that they would believe that it was always their destiny to serve under his wing, as Mephistophelian the Destroyer of Civilizations was always meant to be the ruler of time and space. For the love of God, or anyone, StarHunter and Shawntallica could not see through the wicked demon's treacherous and deceptive lies. He told them everything they wanted to hear and was very good at bending them to his ultimate will.
"You came from the hell within the stars," Shawntallica said in his demonic trance, "You came here for us, because you are our savior.. our lord, and our flesh belongs to you, great one!
"And soon now, very soon my children," Mephistophelian began to utter, "You shall receive rewards for listening to my silent voice that you've carried with you through out existence, and you will have more understanding of the many desires, that I have bestowed you with. Your fate is controlled by me, and me alone. Your desire to liberate the politicians that control the flesh of this world.. Your desire to be the master that controls the puppet was something you owe thanks to me. Call me shepherd, and together we will plunder this world and make life miserable for our enemies until we have conquered over that which rightfully belongs to us."
And with his closing speech, Mephistophelian had StarHunter and Shawntallica completely manipulated to his will.

Re: RVTS Ep. 7: Mephistophelian
After climbing out of the freezing waters of the Maser City docking port, a shivering Bagoth fell to the ground, tired from all that had happened in the last twenty minutes from almost being made swiss cheese by the array of bullets fired at him, to almost being wiped off the face of the Earth by what had to be the world's most dangerous enemy. Either this day had been filled with alot of 'almosts' which reminded the Moderator that he had to get back to Roostville and warn his associates at the Roostville Bureau of Investigation, of the events which transpired tonight.
Bagoth ran for a good ten minutes until he finally got back to his car, he wearily climbed into his car and immediately grabbed his scanner and contacted the Headquarters of the Roostville Moderators.
"This is Bagoth calling Headquarters, I need to speak with Sheriff Jaguar right now!" It took a few minutes for the people at the station, to reach Jaguar at his home and get him on the speaker, but the wait was well worth it.
"Jaguar here," The Sheriff announced to his friend, " Bagoth what's happening?" Bagoth explained to the Sheriff the drug operation that had taken place at the docking port at Maser City. Bagoth described how StarHunter and Shawntallica were operating the entire the drug scandal, as a minor part of their hidden agendasm and that they exposed themselves to him as members of the Maser City Mafia, which was previously run by the deceased mobster criminal Zax. He told the Sheriff, that most of the crates were filled with cocaine, and trucks were on their way to ship it out of the warehouse where it was all being kept, and that because of his escape, StarHunter and Shawntallica may have already found another way to ship out the drugs to cover it up.
"There's more than just that Sheriff," Bagoth said with a slightly cold hesitation, "We have another problem on our hands, something worse." The Federal Investigator continued with his story of what happened at the docking ports, explaining how he tried effortlessly to escape the clutches of those fiends, but he was captured. It was during his time as a captive that Bagoth was informed that he was going to be killed because he knew too much, and it was shortly afterwards that one of the assigned to carry out the execution went missing, and then a monster was came out from hiding in the shadows, and made its move. From the lower reaches of humanity's greatest nightmares, this demonic monstrosity crawled upwards and Bagoth wouldn't have escaped had the demon's attention not been drawn away from him by the presence of Shawntallica and StarHunter.
"Sheriff," Bagoth said with a chill colder than death, "With my archmage background, I was able to sense the great power within that monstrosity, but can you tell me what the hell I was dealing with back there?!" There was a few brief moments of silence, separated from each other by odd breathing noises and loud grumbles before the Sheriff finally decided to say anything.
"Sorry about that awkward silence, Bagoth," the Sheriff replied, "You're positive now, that this monster you saw called himself, Mephistophelian?"
"What do you mean, am I positive?" Bagoth questioned furiously, "How long have I been in this businnes, how long you known me Jet? He introduced himself to Shawn and Huntie, as 'Mephistophelian, The Conqueror' and Destroyer of Civilizations... Now are you going to tell what the hell it is here that we're dealing with, or are you just going to leave me in the dark about things?!"
As Bagoth sat tentively in his Mod car, the Sheriff everything he knew about Mephistophelian, every little detail that he heard from Raptor, UberGeek, Melkor, and anyone else who had close, and often times 'deadly', encounters with the catatonic bringer of chaos. Jaguar brought up the incident from November, 2014 that forced the citizens of Roostville to set up camp at Monsterzeroville, and explained to Bagoth that deep inside of Roostville during this horrific period, the entity known as Mephistophelian lurked. The Sheriff was very precise and left out no details he was told, and included mentioning the discovery of the Universal Bridge, and how Mephistophelian used it to breed an army of cybernetic Rodans, and travel between different dimension within and beyond the limitations of time and space.
"Mephistophelian," The Sheriff stuttered out, "was originally an extension of Hellspawn from a past life, at least those were the claims he made about his own origin."
"Have any orders, sir?" Bagoth asked the Sheriff.
"Yes," the Sheriff replied, "Return to the Headquarters immediately, we need to get a plan. Jaguar out."
Bagoth decided to take a little detour before heading back to HQ in Roostville, and instead returned to his apartment first. It had only taken him about ten minutes after his conversation with the Sheriff to drive out from his previous position, to reach his apartment in town. The Investigator had some ideas that he felt he needed to check out first, before returning to the station where the rest of the Mod Force would be awaiting his expected arrival. He climbed the stairs to his apartment, and reached his arm out to open the door. When he finally got inside he found the place slightly ajar, and walked in as he slowly pulled out his gun.
"Hello?" Bagoth said with great caution, "Who's here?"
"Relax," a voice called out, "Bagoth, its just me." And sitting there at Bagoth's table, acting like he owned the place was none other than Bagoth's old friend from way back, ex-Lietenant Willis Davis, a tall and rather skinny man with lines of age running across his face and spots of gray thrown in his hair like a snow storm. This man was friends with Bagoth's father, and it was this man who taught Bagoth about being a detective when Roostville was first established in the early days of the new millenium.
"Willis, its only you," Bagoth said with a sigh of relief, as he put his gun away, "I forgot I gave you the spare key. Man, I haven't seen you since you retired from the Roostville Mod department all those years ago, what brings you here tonight?"
Willis smiled as he said rather calmly, "You know how it is Bagoth. Ever since my wife died of cancer, I've pretty much become a wanderer. Always on the go. I was in town and decided to pay you a visit."
Bagoth found it strange that Willis was able to smile while talking about the death of his wife, and becoming a wanderer in the same sentence. The Willis that Bagoth had always known could never bring himself to smile over the morbid things that had taken their toll in his life. It almost seemed as though Willis didn't really care anymore, and that wasn't like him at all. Perhaps it was the stress from being a wanderer, and the memories of the higher cases that used to poor old Willis' mind on the job that made him a little cynical, Bagoth couldn't be sure.
"Well Bagoth," Willis started to speak, "What has got you all tense up?"
"Oh," Bagoth replied with a gentle lie, "Being in the business for far too long, sometimes it gets to me."
Bagoth had no intention of letting the news loose about what transpired in Maser City at least a half an hour ago, maybe more. There was already the horrific battle that was fought at Mt. Rodan, the death of Project Pimp, and a few others, and the recent articles all across the Maser City newspaper that proclaimed the deceased Zax as a hero, when infact he was quite the opposite. With all that recently occured, Bagoth felt there was no need to start telling people besides the agents and Mods he worked with, about what was really going on within the ranks of Maser City.
"Are you sure that is all?" Willis asked his friend.
"Uh," Bagoth stumbled, "Yeah, I'm sure. Thanks anyways."
Within the next few instances, Willis had disappeared, and Bagoth assumed that his old friend had probably taken a venture outside so that he can take a few drags on a smoke, or something of that sort. Bagoth decided that now was a safe time to make a few quick phone calls before heading down to Headquarters, and decided to give the Sheriff another quick buzz. The Sheriff was the first to grab the phone once it started ringing, and was relieved to hear the sound of Bagoth's voice, still fully intact.
"I was thinking of heading up there with the strike team," Bagoth had suggested to the Sheriff, "Arrest those two generals, and close down their operations for good."
"Listen to me, Bagoth," the Sheriff said with a little aggression, "Now we can't just level the city to the ground, or something. If you want to shut down the illegal activity in Maser City, then we've got to go to the source and do this the right way, the realistic way."
Perhaps Bagoth was being a little realistic, afterall, they couldn't just leave the city in ruins and total chaos. It wouldn't be right to all the innocent people, for them to just come in and completely decimate a town that has been overrun with illegal operations. The Sheriff was right, and the Moderators were going to have to go straight to the generals of Maser City, Shawntallica and StarHunter. But still, even with such a positive outlook presented to him by the Sheriff, he was still startled a little bit by his encounter with Mephistophelian. Bagoth was less familiar with Mephistophelian, as opposed to UberGeek, or Melkor who confronted the malicious tyrant before. Even with years of experience backing him up, Bagoth was unsure of how to handle the situation of Mephistophelian professionally.
"Hey," Bagoth said with curiousity in his voice, "What ever happened to that book that was in left in the evidence room, the one on demons?"
The Sheriff felt uneased by this question. "Necronomicon its called, and it disappeared long time ago."
"I was thinking," Bagoth said, "that perhaps such an item, if we could find it, would be a powerful weapon against.. that.. Mephistophelian I came across down at the docks."
The Sheriff showed some signs of hesitation towards finding the book, as it was more than just a book, and the Sheriff knew all too well about it from his time down at the station, and the conversation between him and Bagoth ended without any real resolve over what to do about the sudden arrival of Mephistophelian. Bagoth then grabbed his keys and left his apartment, unaware that Willis had been eavesdropping the whole time, and was now on to something.
