What Kaiju Inspires you the Most?

Well the thread's title says it all? Which kaiju inspires you the most to write poetry, if you write poetry about kaiju?

For me, I don't think it is hard to guess. LOL

Godzilla, of course, and Mothra and Biollante too sometimes.

Battra inspires me a lot too, cause of his closeness to the Earth. But mainly for me, it is Mothra.

Biollante is kind of part of the Earth too, she's a plant. ^^ Despite her origins she can probably commune with the Earth if she wants to.

Exactly. Not to mention, she can thrive in space just like Mothra can as well.

Death Ghidorah can be a lot of inspiration as well when thinking about the destruction humans wield over the environment.

Hedorah can also fall into that category...as sad as it seems. Because with how we're treating the planet, we're just as bad as Hedorah was.

Indeed. Anger can be reflected from certain kaiju too. Battra is a good example of that, since he is a representation of Earth's anger I guess you could say.

And Shezilla inspires me a lot too. Love poetry tends to come from her. Though I imagine Godzilla could write some great stuff to her too.

Awww, loving kaiju do reflect that emotion. Modra could also be an example. Plus her lonliness too.

Totally agree with that. And poetry about Kiryu could be about being imprisoned within ourselves.

Definately agree w/ that. That could also be said about Erika Shiragami being imprisioned with in Biollante as well in a sense.

I think Godzilla could be used to represent anger and pity. I mean, it's not like he chose to be mutated the way he is. I'm sure he misses the Old Days when he was a dinosaur. At least my version does.

I agree. Also the feeling of seclusion too. I mean, everybody hates him....he feels unwanted by the world.

I think that's what made me identify with him in the first place. The seclusion.

Yeah you bring that characteristic out a lot in your stories. Modra can relate very well.

Modra is the perfect example of someone that may not be beautiful to her own kind, yet the world thinks she's amazing.

She is beautiful, but in a mysterious way.
