[Battle Master] 8:16 pm: Heavy Defense - No city in the world has suffered from kaiju attacks with the frequency and ferocity as Tokyo has. As a result, it has the best defenses in the world and is quite efficient at using them.
[Battle Master] 8:16 pm: Missile batteries are hidden inside buildings or on rooftops, ready to unleash a devastating barrage upon any kaiju bold enough to attack Tokyo. The military will fire on ANY KAIJU not classified as GOOD BEFORE COMBAT BEGINS, once any Battlefield Conditions have been resolved.
[Battle Master] 8:17 pm: The JSDF forces have a Power Number of 25 and fire ONE SHOT at each monster that qualifies for their attentions before retreating. Any HITS cause ONE WOUND to the affected kaiju and it will be forced to fight the coming battle in a weakened condition.

[Battle Master] 8:17 pm: Mothra (GFW):
[Battle Master] 8:17 pm: Flight - Mothra is among the most agile flying kaiju. She counts as an AERIAL KAIJU and may take the OPPOSITE Bonus for the Cover offered by a battlefield, treating NONE as EXTREME, for example. Such is her agility that Mothra may RE-ROLL her FIRST 3 FAILED Defense Rolls in any match.
[Battle Master] 8:18 pm: Personal Primal Number: - 13 - Reflection - Mothra sheds her reflective scales to surround herself with a shimmering protective field. This reflective aura remains IN EFFECT FOR 3 ROUNDS or until it has been activated by an enemy attack. The next successful Attack Roll against Mothra will deal a wound TO HER FOE rather than herself.
[Battle Master] 8:18 pm: Her opponent CAN NOT make a Defense Roll against this returned attack. After either of these circumstances, the protection dissipates and the exchange of attacks reverts to normal.
NOTE: This ability can stack so that every roll of 13 will allow 3 Rounds of protection or one reflected attack.
[Battle Master] 8:18 pm: Special Rules: Fiery Phoenix - After Mothra has suffered her 3rd wound, she may make one final Attack Roll for which no Defense Roll is possible. Transforming into a fiery spectral shape, she flies straight at her vanquisher. If her Attack Roll succeeds, she has struck her foe, immolating him. BOTH monsters are eliminated from the tournament should this occur.
[Battle Master] 8:18 pm: The Stranger:
[Battle Master] 8:18 pm: Armor - The Stranger is covered in an extremely beam-resistant hide capable of survivng atmospheric re-entry and deep space travel. This gives it a BONUS of +10 to its DPN.
[Battle Master] 8:18 pm: Flight – Stranger is able to fly and counts as an AERIAL KAIJU. It may take the OPPOSITE Bonus for the Cover offered by a battlefield, treating NONE as EXTREME, for example. However, the Stranger is equally able to function on the ground and will use either the normal Cover Bonus or that for an aerial kaiju.
[Battle Master] 8:19 pm: Personal Primal Number: - 66 - Devour - The Stranger, in his ravenous hunger, has managed to bite off a chunk of flesh. This causes ONE WOUND to his opponent while HEALING ONE WOUND for the Stranger. So great is the damage that his foe is in shock for the next round AND has its Power Number REDUCED -10 points. The unlucky kaiju who has stumbled into The Stranger's grasp CAN NOT make a Defense Roll against this attack.
[Battle Master] 8:19 pm: Special Rule - Armored Shell - The Stranger is a heavily armored creature whose hide is so incredibly tough that even Godzilla's beam cannot penetrate it. The unarmored sections of his body are also amazingly difficult to harm! In any match involving a kaiju with a BEAM ATTACK in their profile, ADD +20 to The Stranger's Defense Roll, up to the maximum 90.

MAMMALS and MACHINES function rather poorly due to overheating and suffer -5 DECREASE to their OPN and DPN. REPTILES, on the other hand, flourish in the baking sun and GAIN +5 to their OPN and DPN.
[Battle Master] 8:55 pm: TROOP SURGE -- The thick concentration of American military forces allows them to detect threats and respond with heavy and violent force. In any battle involving an EVIL or NEUTRAL monster, they enter the fray. The troops function as a third combatant with a Power Number of 25 and no Defense Rolls since tanks, infantry and helicopters crumble easily against a kaiju's wrath. The military takes 2 HITS to dispel entirely.
[Battle Master] 8:56 pm: WHEN THE BATTLE BEGINS, the military makes THREE Attacks and continues to do so each round until it receives ONE HIT. After that, it makes TWO Attacks each turn, representing tanks crushed and helicopters blown from the sky.
Each Attack is subject to a separate Focus Roll if neither kaiju is classified as GOOD. Any combatant that is not GOOD must make a Focus Roll each turn to determine whom it will attack.

[Battle Master] 8:57 pm: Special Rules: Low Mana - Due to the Desumacchi having so many battles this year, several kaiju have had to drawn on the Earth's lifeforce. AFTER 6 ROUNDS, conditions are ideal for additional Gyaos eggs to hatch and join their kin. Roll a d100. On the roll of 1-10, ANOTHER GYAOS arrives on the battlefield with a Power Number -10 points LESS than the original. Only ONE HIT is required to destroy this or any additional Gyaos.
[Battle Master] 8:58 pm: The enemy kaiju must make a Focus Roll between the original Gyaos and any others that have been drawn to the Battlefield. Only by defeating the original Gyaos can the enemy kaiju win the match.
At the beginning of the FOLLOWING ROUNDS, again roll, with 1-20 bringing an extra Gyaos. ADD +10 to the chances of the Gyaos hatching each round after.

[Battle Master] 8:58 pm: Red Spiral Atomic Breath - Godzilla is able to breathe a blast of red spiraling energy more destructive than his normal atomic breath. With his body tapped out with atomic energy, he now possesses an even more powerful version that is capable of acting like napalm and consuming entire city blocks. Any time Godzilla scores a HIT on his enemy, roll a d100. On a roll of 1-10, the Cover Bonus for the battlefield is reduced by 1 category (-5) for the remainder of the tournament.
[Battle Master] 8:58 pm: Personal Primal Number: - 55 - Ultimate Atomic Blast - Godzilla unleashes a blast of atomic energy so devastating that his enemy suffers 1 WOUND and FORFEITS his next Attack Roll as he tries to recover. There is NO DEFENSE ROLL against this powerful attack. In addition, the waves of energy coming off Godzilla's spines act as an atomic pulse, REDUCING the Cover Bonus of the battlefield by one category (-5) for the remainder of the tournament.
[Battle Master] 8:58 pm: ROLL a d100 to determine if the pulse will also deal an ADDITIONAL WOUND to the enemy kaiju. On a roll of 1-10, the kaiju is caught in the blast. There is NO DEFENSE ROLL against this effect.
Tapping into this much power, however, doesn't do Godzilla's body much good and he suffers 1 WOUND as a result.
[Battle Master] 8:59 pm: Special Rules: Meltdown - Godzilla's body is in an extremely volatile state. At the BEGINNING OF EACH ROUND, roll a d10. On a roll of '1', Godzilla melts down, his body unleashing a maelstrom of nuclear energy. Godzilla is KILLED and removed from the tournament. The BATTLEFIELD itself is also annihilated and becomes an uninhabited SLAG HEAP no kaiju would be willing to fight over.
[Battle Master] 8:59 pm: Godzilla's enemy is also eliminated unless it can make a successful Defense roll at HALF its DPN, with a Minimum of 15. If successful, the kaiju has escaped and wins the battle. Otherwise, it perishes in the radioactive firestorm that accompanies Godzilla's demise.
[Battle Master] 8:59 pm: This modifies the Power Numbers of each kaiju to:
[Battle Master] 9:00 pm: Gyaos (Hyper) - Offensive Power Number - 20 Defensive Power Number - 30

[Battle Master] 9:21 pm: Kaiju with LESS THAN 3 WOUNDS roll a d6 to see if they can escape. If both combatants have the same number of Wounds, they both try to save themselves.
If 1-3 is rolled, the kaiju has escaped the volcano's fury.
If 4-6, the uprushing magma consumes the monster.
If one kaiju escapes the volcano but the other doesn't, that kaiju is the winner. If both manage to escape, the fight continues in the ravaged battlefield filled with lava, poisonous fumes and smoke.
[Battle Master] 9:21 pm: Eruption - As an active volcano, there is a chance that Mt. Mihara might erupt. Every round AFTER THE 3rd, roll a d6:
On a roll of 1-3, the volcano explodes, showering deadly lava and poisonous fumes across the battlefield. Each kaiju will suffer ONE WOUND at the beginning of EVERY succeeding Round.
[Battle Master] 9:22 pm: If the kaiju are fighting INSIDE the volcano, they must first try to escape before continuing the battle.
The first kaiju to suffer 3 or more Wounds than its opponent is considered to be eliminated and its foe declared the winner.
[Battle Master] 9:22 pm: We will now review and factor any special conditions provided by the Combatant Profiles:

[Battle Master] 9:23 pm: Aquatic – Dagarah is much more at home in the water than on dry land. Able to breathe underwater and swim at great speed, he is an AQUATIC KAIJU. On any battlefield with a large body of water, Dagarah counts the Cover Bonus as EXTREME (+20 to his DPN).
[Battle Master] 9:23 pm: Personal Primal Number: - 70 – Berem Tornado – Dagarah launches a devastating water spout attack. In addition to causing 1 WOUND, the enemy kaiju is also covered in the parasitic Berem. The infested kaiju will LOSE -10 from its Power Number EVERY ROUND as the Berem drain its energy. If its Power Number reaches 0, the kaiju is DEFEATED and out of the tournament.

[Battle Master] 9:23 pm: Flight - Destroyah is a capable, if slow, flyer. It counts as an AERIAL KAIJU and may take the OPPOSITE Bonus for the Cover offered by a battlefield if to its benefit.
[Battle Master] 9:23 pm: Personal Primal Number: - 96 - Horn Katana - Destroyah can unleash a murderous beam of slashing energy from its horn which slashes effortlessly through the flesh of his foe. This attack causes TWO WOUNDS and REDUCES the foe’s Power Number by -10 points. There is NO Defense Roll against this attack.
[Battle Master] 9:23 pm: Special Rules: Transformation - Destroyah may evolve into other forms. If it rolls a double (excluding 00), it will revert to his Swarm Stage. The number of members of the swarm will be the number of Destroyah's remaining wounds +d6 (for example, if Destroyah has taken 1 wound, there will be 2+d6 members of the swarm).
NOTE: Destroyah CAN NOT transform more than ONCE a match, not counting its transformation from Juvenile to Adult Stage.
