Godzilla: Space Assault
I put it in the Kaiju Lit 101 section...guess it's the wrong sections hahahaa. Well, here it is, let me know what you think =).
Godzilla: Space Assault
Prologue
It is the year 2020, and for over 60 years the world has lived in the shadow of fear. Fear of monsters, monsters created by mankind’s own irresponsibility of nuclear power. This was best seen in 1954, when Japan was suddenly under attack of the monster known to the world now as Godzilla. Since the creation of the atom bomb at the end of World War 2, humans have been unable to admit their own faults, and as a result monsters were born. The attack on Japan by Godzilla was only one of numerous encounters to come. Other nations such as the United States, The United Kingdom, Korea, and many other parts of the world have all tasted the power and destruction caused by the monsters which arisen after the post world war 2 era.
2 years after the Godzilla’s attack in 1954 Japan found itself under attack once again, this time by the monster Rodan, a giant pterosaur like creature, which had somehow been brought back to life through nuclear waste thrown into Mt. Asu. With the constant monster attacks on the Earth’s nations, the people pushed for advancements in weapons and technology. The result, Advanced Maser technology, with this new technology the forces of Earth finally found an effective defense against the monsters. The world was able to create more powerful weapons, tanks, planes, bombs, guns, and now finally had a defense against the giant monsters. As it turns out, this was a very big step in advanced technology for mankind. The earth’s defense forces finally were able to ward many of the monster’s attacks, such as the Gaira and Sanda incident of 1966 in Japan, but it was still not enough.
In 1964 Japan was at war once again, this time with a very familiar foe. Godzilla had returned, and it was here that the creature truly showed how powerful and destructive he really was. Even with the advanced maser weapons, Japan’s defense was powerless to stop him. The new weapons did nothing more than frustrate and anger the monster. As a result, Japan was torn apart worse than in 1954. But thankfully, a few years earlier, 3 scientists discovered the remote island known as “Infant Island” had come into an agreement and a friendship with the people of their island and their monster god Mothra. They were able to convince the monster god to fight for Japan, as the battle would be not only for Japan but mankind as well. Mothra, being a peaceful and kind creature, agreed and came to the aid of the humans. The two monsters fought a fierce battle but ultimately Mothra was killed and Godzilla severely wounded. With this, Godzilla returned to the sea and was never seen again.
Ever since that time, there has never been a sighting of the creature, whether through human eyes or satellite camera. Some believe that the monster may have died of his wounds, but through scientific study of the animal itself, this is highly unlikely. Many other sources point to the theory that the notorious and strange Dr. Serizawa may have something to do with Godzilla’s disappearance. Around the time of Godzilla’s return, it is rumored that Dr. Serizawa had developed an odd new substance he called “The Oxygen Destroyer”. This substance, when mixed with water, destroys all the oxygen molecules within a certain range which leads to the immediate vaporization of any water or oxygen based creature. Some sources say that the Doctor had found Godzilla’s locations, and at a last attempt to redeem himself for creating such dangerous material, used it on Godzilla and himself. Although this is all speculation and there is no real evidence based on it, as Serizawa’s notes also strangely disappeared around this time. Oddly enough, this was the last time anyone had heard or seen anything from the strange doctor.
Over the next few decades, Japan and the rest of the world, would be under constant attacks of these monsters. Although, the upgrade in weapons and technology helped fend off many of these attacks, it still wasn’t enough. As a result the world’s nations have come together to form the WMD, the World Monster Defense organization. With this the people of Earth have been able to keep track of, protect, and prevent themselves from future monster attacks. This organization proved to be successful and effective for the Earth’s defense against monsters. But, even after 60 plus years of peace, the Earth still waits and wonders if the monster will return, the monster, which seemed indestructible, the monster named…Godzilla.
Chapter 1- Space Material
WMD Astronomy Branch Japan, Sapporo, it is 10:30 PM as Dr. Mitsuhiro Chujo sits at his desk analyzing new information about an odd substance which has just recently been discovered, an odd substance that has only been recently discovered in the past month. As he leans back in his chair rubbing his eyes, he reaches for the phone and dials a number. After 20 seconds of waiting and 3 rings someone picks up.
“Hello, this is Dr. Chujo from WMD Astronomy, I’m looking for Dr. Shimada.” He explained.
After waiting on the line listening to the music as he gets transferred, someone finally picks up the phone.
“Hello Dr. Shimada? Ah, hello this is Dr. Chujo from WMD Astronomy in Sapporo. I’ve just recently read up on your report on the new material discovered around the Mount Fuji area. Tell me Doctor, do you have a small sample of this you could possibly send me?” he asked.
After a positive response from Dr. Shimada, Chujo replied, “thank you doctor that would be perfect. Be seeing you, goodbye”.
As he hung up the phone Chujo laid back in his chair and continued studying the report on the odd material. Something about it fascinated him; it wasn’t like anything he had heard about before. This was a brand new substance, never before heard of nor seen of on earth. Not quite metal but not quite rock, it was as if it was mixed in with some kind of living organism, which is why he found himself reading this in the first place. Since it’s discovery, there has been many theories on where the substance itself came from, but considering how odd it was and how it randomly began to show up, the biggest theory was that it was from outer space, which is one of the reasons why Chujo found himself addicted to the report. As the night grew darker and later Chujo continued to sit in his desk long after hours studying the material. This was a man who truly loved what he did.
The next morning as he walked down the hallway to his office, the secretary tapped him on the shoulder.
“Dr. Chujo, it seems that you’ve received more information on that you’ve requested. This was sent in today.” She said as she handed him another 30-page essay.
“Oh, thank you miss Tazawa.” He replied.
She smiled and bowed as he continued to walk to his office then quickly turned back, “oh! Also, this just came in today also.” She said as she handed him a note.
“Small sample sent earlier today, should be received later today or tomorrow-Dr. Shimada,” The note read.
Chujo smiled in excitement as he read the note and continued to his office to analyze another report on the newly discovered material. It seemed as more samples of the material had also been found in Kyushu and Hokkaido as well. Chujo scratched his head over this.
“Odd, maybe this material truly is from space.” He said to himself. “But where would it come from? Material from the moon has never looked anything like this…from mars possibly? But material from there has never looked like this either…how odd.”
As he continued to read through the report Chujo continued to scratch his head over the origin of the material. The only link he could make with anything else was the discovery of the odd metal discovered by Professor Hideto Miyajima in 1974, which he called “space titanium”, which was still a huge mystery, even almost 50 years after it’s discovery. It seemed as though Chujo and the other Doctors had a similar situation on their hands.
Chapter 2- The Moving Epicenter
The next morning in Tokyo, sitting at his desk, WMD Japan head chief General Kenichi Ogata sits at his desk analyzing test scores from the most recent WMD full member exams. It’s that time of year again, and as head of the WMD Japan branch is was Ken’s job to make the final picks on which cadets will have the opportunity to join WMD as a full fledged member and work right in the capital along side Ken and the other many full fledged members of WMD. Although bored out of his mind, as he had been doing this for three long days now, Ken’s guilt would not allow him to put this task aside, as he too remembers the day he took the exam and prayed that he would have the opportunity to be a full fledged member of the group.
Three hours pass and, finally, he is finished with the last group of scores. As he leaves his office to bring the large folder of test scores to the front desk, one of the assistants stops in front of him and salutes.
“Sir, I can take those from you. I assume these are the test scores?” She said.
As he salutes back Ken answers, “Yes, these are the scores. I was just bringing them to the front desk. Is there a problem?”
“There is a possible monster around the Nagasaki area sir. We have readings of a moving epicenter around that area, it is quite feint, but it’s there. The monitor room has been set and everyone is in their positions,” She answered.
“Thank you, I’ll head to the monitor room right away and we’ll get it checked out.” He said as he handed her the folder.
Ken turned and continued to walk down the hall into the Monitor room, a large room with 4 rows of computer monitors, satellite controls, analytical systems, and weapons control all facing a giant monitor, which is used to gain visual of the situation in times of a crisis. As Ken entered the room and walked towards his seat at the back top row, four people stood up to salute him. The two in front of him were a Japanese man and a Caucasian woman.
The Japanese man spoke first, “Colonel Yoshiro Shibata reporting sir, I’ll be your at your left today as your monster advisor. My specialty is in the field of monster studies, if we are to run into a monster today sir I will be able to categorize and give information of the creature, unless of course it is something we have yet to see.”
As he finished, the Caucasian woman began, “Colonel Natasha Willington reporting sir, I have recently transferred from WMD U.S. and I have been appointed here today to be your 2nd in command.”
In the next row stood two more young men, as Ken turned to them and saluted they both began to speak beginning with the one on the left.
“Private Hidehiko Sudo reporting for duty sir, I have been appointed here today to, if needed, pilot the Super X from this monitor sir.” He finished.
The second began, “Private Takeshi Nakamura reporting sir, I am in charge of all the weapons monitoring for the Super X sir.
Ken nodded and saluted both of them then began to talk.
“I’m glad to have you all with me today, let’s hope that this situation is nothing more than a false alarm. I don’t need any monsters destroying anything today.”
“Yes sir!” The whole room said as everyone turned to sit down at their monitor.
“Any information on this moving epicenter? I need a location please.” Ken said.
“Epicenter is moving around the Nagasaki area near a small village sir, we’ve evacuated the village just to be safe” One of the operators replied.
“Good, get me a visual on this” Ken answered.
“Yes sir” Another operator replied.
Ken and the other WMD members sitting next to him watched the screen as the view of the small village appeared on the screen.
“Doesn’t look like anything is going on there.” Ken said.
“Sir! The epicenter stopped…it’s right around the area of the village” One of the operators replied.
Ken and the others watched the screen closely. Then with no warning, the earth began to move. Out of the center of the village it seems as though a giant hill was forming out of the ground.
“My god! What’s going on?” Ken yelled.
“Something’s coming out of the ground sir…there’s only been a few monsters known to do that…” Yoshiro replied.
Everyone watched in amazement as a monster exploded out from the giant pile of earth. It roared as it shook the dirt off its head and body, it’s giant ears flopping and it’s large yellow horn glowing.
“I know what that is! It’s a Baragon!” Yoshiro said.
“Baragon?” Ken replied.
“Yes sir, Baragon. So far the only other known specimen is one from 1965 that had appeared around the time that the giant Frankenstein monster had gotten loose. They’re a species of dinosaur that seemed to have gained the ability to burrow and live underground, and as a result they’ve evolved to become extremely massive. That giant horn emits a bright yellow light that allows them to see in the dark as they burrow through the earth.” Yoshiro explained.
“Damn it, get some units out there before he finds his way to the city!” Ken said.
Everyone continued to watch in amazement as Baragon trampled the small village, crawling and smashing everything in it’s way while blasting everything to dust with its heat ray. The monster roared in enjoyment as it continued to jump around and blast away the houses and farms.
“Sir the tanks have been deployed and in position.” One of the operators announced.
“Fire at will.” Ken ordered.
The row of tanks fired at Baragon everything they had, but the stubborn monster was too dumb to notice them, until the shots landed. Baragon reacted and roared in frustration as he used his powerful legs to jump and destroy the tanks with his ray. Baragon roared in excitement and then burrowed and disappeared.
“What the hell! Where did it go?” Ken yelled.
“Sir, we’ve lost track of it!” one of the operators said.
Slamming his fist into his desk Ken yelled, “Damn it! How could it get away! The ****ing thing randomly shows up to smash the village, and destroy a few tanks…son of a *****! I want a full search of this thing, any signal of a moving epicenter we have to look at. We can’t allow this thing to get away and find a ay into one of the large cities”
Chapter 3- Meteor
The next morning, in Sapporo, Chujo is found sitting at his desk looking into the microscope as he continues to study the sample of space material, which he has received earlier from Dr. Shimada. Fascinated with the odd yet unique material, Chujo awed at the strange mixture of material. It was as if it was covered with some kind of membrane, yet mixed up with different kinds of minerals such as iron, phosphate, and signs of carbon dioxide along with many other unknown substances. Nothing had been found like this, and Chujo was just excited to be one of many scientists to have discovered something like this. As he continued to study the material, there was a shocking news report on the T.V.
“…Last night’s monster attack on a small village in southern Japan is still being investigated. Experts say that the monster, which raided a small town last night, was Baragon. The last sighting of the creature was in 1965, ever since then nothing has ever been said about the creature. Oddly enough, the creature did not surface for long before burrowing back underground, the WMD forces and JDF are continuing their search for the creature, in hopes to find it before it makes landfall in Japan again…” The Reporter said.
Chujo looked up in shock, “ A monster sighting? Baragon? How odd, well let’s hope that thing doesn’t find its way here. My work is too important for me to deal with some monster.” He said to himself as he went back to studying the material.
All of a sudden, without warning, the ground began to shake. Chujo looked up in shock and quickly began grabbing his things to keep anything from being destroyed.
“Whoa, Earthquake? Oh my god, I hope I didn’t jinx myself about that monster coming around here. I hope this was just a random earthquake and not a giant burrowing monster.” He said to himself.
As he began to relax, the phone rang, making him jump in surprise.
“Damn it, what’s wrong with today.” He said as he went to pick up the phone.
“Hello, this is Dr. Chujo’s office.” He answered.
“Dr. Chujo, this is Dr. Shimada. Did you receive the samples yet?”
“Oh yes Doctor, I’m actually looking them over right now. It’s a fascinating substance; I’ve never seen anything before. Tell me Doctor, would you happen to know of or see any more evidence that this material could possibly be from space?” Chujo said.
“Actually Doctor, that’s why I’m calling you.” Dr. Shimada calmly replied.
“Oh, what is it?” Chujo said with a hint of excitement in his voice.
“Well Mitsuhiro, I have received 6 reports within the last two days of these objects being found in different areas of the world. The thing is, they all have a similar story. 3 of these stories consist of reports of something crashing into people’s homes. When I read the report it turns out that it was a small meteor the size of a soft ball. Samples have been taken from all of them and after carefully studying them with my colleagues I am sure that this was all the space material. The other 1 story even consists of a sample so large that it completely destroyed a man’s car. The other two were of objects found around 2 mountain ranges, one in the Rockies’ in the United States, and the other near Mt. Mihara, right here in Japan.” Shimada explained.
“Wow! That’s amazing Doctor, but so many reports within that time span…what do you think that means?” Chujo answered.
“Well, considering how many reports I’ve received lately I’ve gotten curious as to why this material has all of a sudden shown up. My theory is that there may be something else out there; this could possibly be debris from something that has passed by or something that is still coming, like a large meteorite. It seems as though the amount of meteor showers in our system has increased as well, which is very odd. I’m thinking this may be some sign of a large meteor waiting to impact the Earth. But I’ve yet to check any kind of satellite analysis or anything of that sort.” Shimada replied.
A look of excitement came across Chujo’s face as he answered, “Well, actually my monitor is on right in front of me, I can have an analysis be run from the satellite and some pictures taken to see if there are any signs or patterns of anything heading our way Doctor. I will do what I can and I’ll send you the results soon. I’ll get to it right away”
“Thank you Doctor.” Shimada answered.
“Yes, goodbye now.” Chujo finished.
As he hung up the phone Chujo thought to himself, “hmm, a meteorite heading our way…this is odd. I should get to this right away just to be safe.”
Chujo walked over to the computer, opened a program and began to work on his analysis of a possible meteorite. The word “Analyzing…” popped up on screen as Chujo finished crunches his keyboard before moving over to the next monitor. Again, Chujo began crunching on the keyboard to work on the program, and again words popped on the screen, this time saying “Scanning in progress…” to tell him that the photos were being taken. Chujo sat back on his chair to take a breath before he moved back to his desk to study his samples once again.
A few hours later and Chujo is still on his desk going through the samples. Still as fascinated as ever at the ever so strange material from space, when all of a sudden both the computers begin to beep.
“Ah, the analysis and pictures are done.” Chujo said.
As he rolled his chair over to check on them, the results were shocking. The analysis indicated that a large object was not too far from the earth. Chujo looked in shock as he quickly turned to the photo’s to find a giant meteor coming closer and closer. Immediately he grabbed the phone.
“Dr. Shimada! My analysis has concluded that your theory was indeed correct. There is a giant meteorite heading to the earth as we speak. The analysis indicated that it currently has a diameter of approximately 756 feet with a circumference of approximately 1568 feet. It’s huge, but my analysis also indicates that after it enters the atmosphere it should be about approximately 539 feet and 1354 feet.” He explained.
“Wow, that’s amazing…where does it predict it will land?” Shimada asked.
“Around Mt. Fuji sir…do you think we should evacuate any cities around the area?” Chujo asked.
“Yes, just to be safe, we don’t want anyone getting hurt.” Shimada explained.
“I will inform WMD and the JDF immediately sir and…oh my god…” Chujo said in shock as he lost his words.
“What is it?” Shimada asked.
“I don’t know how we didn’t see this coming, but the analysis indicated we have 45 minutes until this thing enters the atmosphere and makes impact. Doctor I have to let you go I need to inform everyone now.” Chujo explained as he put the phone down.
Chujo sprinted down the hall as he slammed his hand into the red emergency button, setting off the alarm before sprinting to the emergency phone.
“This is Dr. Mitsuhiro Chujo from WMD Astronomy Japan! This is a red alert! I need to speak with your chief right away.” He yelled.
In Tokyo, Ken and his team continued their analysis searching for Baragon when the emergency alarm goes off out of nowhere.
“That is it? Baragon?” he yelled as one of the assistances ran into the room.
“No sir! We have a different emergency, a Doctor Chujo from WMD Astronomy in Sapporo is looking to speak with you,” She said.
Ken quickly ran out of the room into the phone and answered, “This is WMD Japan head chief General Kenichi Ogata, who is this?”
“This is Dr. Mitsuhiro Chujo from WMD Astronomy in Sapporo sir, I’m calling with an emergency that a giant meteorite is on it’s way to land into the Mt. Fuji area as we speak, we currently have 40 minutes before it enters out atmosphere and crashes into the earth. I suggest you get a hold of the Japanese Defense Forces and evacuate the area sir.” Chujo explained.
“Damn it! Why weren’t we informed about this sooner?” Ken replied in frustration.
“Sir, we were not able to detect anything until now, I don’t know why. But, you need to evacuate the area ASAP, this is a large meteorite and many lives could be in danger if you don’t do anything.” Chujo replied.
“Very well, I will do so immediately.” Ken answered as he put the phone down.
“Get me the JDF, I need a full evacuation of the Mt. Fuji area, any towns or villages there need to be cleared ASAP. We have less than 40 minutes before hell breaks loose out there and I don’t need any dead bodies.” Ken ordered.
“Jesus Christ what’s this world coming to? First Baragon and now this.” Ken said to himself as he started down the hall to contact the Japan Defense Forces.
In the areas around Mt. Fuji, the sirens go off as the announcement is being made.
“Evacuate immediately, evacuate immediately, it is not safe to be in any of your towns or villages around this area. Please make your way to Yokohama. I repeat, evacuate immediately, the surrounding areas are not safe, please make your way to Yokohama. A giant meteor is on its course, 30 minutes until impact.” The announcement continued as the people ran down the paths of their villages and towns, cars rushing to get through and people struggling to get onto the trains.
Then, as the minutes pass…something in the sky becomes more visible…a fire. As the meteor crashes and burns through the atmosphere chunks are blown off. It’s broken through, the large rock speeds closer and closer to its destination when finally, it crashes. The earth shakes as the meteor smashes 5 miles from the large volcano, sending a wave of shock through the ground, a crash so violent that all of Japan felt. Chunks of rock and fire blast off into the sky as the meteor crashes into the ground and punch a hole into the earth, people watch on from Yokohama as the ground from beneath their very feet shake. Even Mt. Fuji reacts with a small eruption for a short amount of time. Then as quickly as it started, it ends. Earth has just felt the power of a large crashing meteor, made of a mysterious material that has never before been seen.
Chapter 4- Evil Scheme
Thousands of miles from the Earth a giant alien ship slowly approaches. Three men stand in the main control room surrounding a round table, which is projecting a hologram of the Earth.
“I meteor has landed controller, I hope that you’re plan worked.” One of the men said.
“You worry too much Kuronuma, everything is going as planned. Remember, now we just merely wait.” The controller replied.
“I hope so, after all, you xillians are quite good at planning your attacks, I’ve noticed that about you. You may be right after all, with your brains and the brute force of my weapon we shall be unstoppable.” Kuronuma replied.
The third man looked up and smirked, “do not forget us Kuronuma. The controller did not just ask you to join him alone. We too are a very powerful and intelligent race, don’t forget we were once one of the most feared people in our own galaxy.”
“Don’t worry about it Kubota, I am well aware of the strengths you have. I am merely just making sure everything is in check. I would like this to go as quickly as possible, those earthlings are disgusting. And it would be in my best interest to rid them as quick as possible.” Replied Kuronuma.
“My friends don’t fear! Of all my attacks on planets only one plan has gone sour, that is why I asked you both to join me. With the combination of our races and our weapons, Earth will surely fall. There will be nothing to stop our onslaught.” The controller said.
Kuronuma looked at the Controller and replied, “Of course controller, as a matter of fact I already have a group of people stationed down on that planet. This meteor will prove to be quite useful if it has the surprises that you claim. We are on the watch, these humans are so pitiful, they couldn’t even detect the surprise I have stored for them down there. When they see what I have to show they will surely crumple in fear.”
“This will indeed be a very enjoyable task. These disgusting humans have no idea what we have in store for them. They think that they are safe, that this meteor was just a natural disaster. They have no idea what they’re in for. I cannot wait to unleash my wrath upon them. Our weapons of destruction will soon be their ends, and finally Earth will be ours. My people will finally have peace.” Kubota said with a laugh.
“Kubota you make me laugh…peace, when you get the chance you should explain to these disgusting creatures your opinion on what peace is” The controller replied laughing.
“Oh yes controller, they will hear and understand, after I deal with them.”
The controller leaned on the table and then said, “it’s just too damn bad that I couldn’t get this done 60 years ago. These earthlings are nothing more than an experiment. Our scientists are second to none at creating powerful biological weapons…our first, and most successful to date was sent to the earth in 1954, but something interrupted it. Someone or something shot the damn thing out of course and completely screwed it up. But thanks to you Kuronuma, we don’t have to worry about that anymore do we?” he said with a smirk.
Kuronuma smiled and replied, “just wait to see the looks on their faces when we show them what my people discovered all those years ago.”
All the men looked onto the hologram of their plan projected onto the table and began to laugh hysterically. The clock was ticking, and very soon would they be able to make their move.
Chapter 5- The Expedition
On Earth Dr. Shimada sat in his lab going through the reports and information of the meteor collision. It had only been a few hours since the meteor crashed and already he was planning something. He loved his career as much as any other devoted scientist, and before any damage assessments could be made, he was already planning something out. Quickly going through the information given on the collision, he quickly looked at the map and calculated the coordinates for the meteor.
“Wow! This is a goldmine, imagine the possibilities with this new material.” He said to himself excitedly.
His whole life he had searched for an opportunity like this, and at 65 years old, it seemed as though the opportunity had finally presented itself. He turned to the table where he grabbed a list of scientists, and then went over to his phone and began dialing their phone numbers. The firs ton the list was Dr. Mitsuhiro Chujo, the passionate astronomer who loves his career every bit as much as Dr. Shimada himself, it was only natural for him to be first on the list.
After a few seconds of ringing, which seemed like an eternity for Shimada, Chujo finally picked up his phone.
“Hello? This is Dr. Mitsuhiro Chujo from WMD Astronomy Japan.” He answered.
“Chujo, this is Dr. Shimada. Have you read any of the reports or information given on the meteorite yet?” Dr. Shimada asked.
“Yes I have, from what I can get anyways. It’s only been a few hours so there’s no real information on it other than the collision and damage I caused.” Chujo replied.
“Yes I know, I too have read what I could. But, there’s something else.”
“What is it Dr. Shimada?” Chujo said
“Chujo, I’ve figured out the coordinated for the meteorites landing. And starting tomorrow I want to gather a group of people to go on an expedition. Would you be willing to participate?” Shimada continued.
“Yes, certainly!” Chujo answered excitedly
“Very good, then Chujo. I’m going to contact a few more people and get everything ready by tonight. Tomorrow everything should be set and we should be ok to go.” Shimada continued.
“Good, I’ll be ready tomorrow then Doctor. Thank you” Chujo finished.
“Yes, very well then. Be seeing you.” Shimada said as he hung up the phone and continued down the list of names.
The next morning as Chujo finishes packing his last few bags. A car drives into his driveway. Out of the car came three serious looking men, all dressed in dark suits with sunglasses. Chujo oddly looks at them with a strange feeling as they arrive to knock on his door. As he answers they all flash their badges as the man in the middle begins to speak.
“Dr. Mitsuhiro Chujo I presume?”
“Yes, that’s me.” Chujo answered.
“Good, Dr. Chujo, we are from the WMD Japan, we’re here to escort you over to Dr. Shimada’s lab in Akita where you will all meet the rest of the group and travel to the meteorite via helicopter.” He explained.
“Ah very well then, just let me take my things to the car and we can be on our way.” Chujo replied in relief.
“Don’t worry about those sir, we can do that for you.” The man said as he waved the other two to grab the bags.
After a few hours or driving the men finally reach their destination. Chujo leaves the car followed by the two men carrying his bags. Excitedly, Chujo sees the elder doctor and greets him with a handshake.
“Dr. Shimada, glad to finally see you in person. Odd how we’ve worked together for such a long time but have never been able to meet in person until now.” He said with a smile.
“Very odd it is Chujo, but I’m glad we had this opportunity to work together. Now, everyone else is here and ready to go. How about we get your bags and head over shall we?” Shimada asked.
Chujo nodded and walked over to the helicopter as the two men followed behind with his bags.
“We will be landing in Yokohama and from there our transportation will take us to Mt. Fuji. We’re to make camp at least half a mile from the meteor, we don’t know how radioactive this thing is so it would be smart to keep our distance until he learn more about it.” Shimada explained as the helicopter takes off towards Yokohama.
Upon arriving the men are immediately greeted by other members of the WMD, and almost instantly everyone is moved into their cars with their bags as the cars drive off towards their destination. As they get closer and closer, more signs of the destruction caused by the meteorite are shown. They were shocked at how something so large could cause to much damage in such short time. It was as is a bomb had been dropped on the land around them. For Shimada and Chujo, this ride could not take any longer, but soon enough; they arrived at their destination. As the men wave their drivers goodbye they begin to make the long and tiring journey towards the giant meteor. As the next few hours pass by many of the team begin to feel the fatigue, it isn’t easy to hike through hilly and destroyed land while carrying a 20-pound bag of supplies. But soon enough, they see it. The large meteorite planted deep into the earth in the center of the large crater is smashed into the earth. Almost immediately, Chujo and the others realized something wasn’t right. It had seemed as though something was pulling them in, as if there was a force that happened to get stronger and stronger as they got closer. Chujo and the other decided it was best to make camp where they were, the force had been odd and they were unaware of what it was. But as soon as the other team members began unpacking their supplies, he realized what it was. The meteor was magnetic, all the picks and shovels began getting dragged across the ground towards the meteor. That was it; the Meteor was creating a magnetic field that was pulling on his belt strap. Chujo looked at Shimada in shock as the look was returned. All of a sudden, things began getting much more complicated.
Chapter 6- Awakening
In Tokyo, Ken and the others continue their search for Baragon. It had been days since the creature destroyed the village and it seemed as though Baragon had all but disappeared. Ken leaned back on his seat and sighed while massaging his head.
“It’s been what? Three days since the damn thing’s attacked that village and now we can’t seem to find anything on it.” He said, obviously irritated.
“Baragon is a burrower, those things have always been hard to track. They’re known to be able to burrow almost as far as the Earth’s crust. But don’t worry, we will know when one’s in the area. A moving epicenter is something that’s pretty obvious.” Yoshirhiro said.
“You do know a lot about these things huh?” Ken turned and said.
“Yes sir, I’ve spent most of my career studying these things. Who would have known that the rise of these creatures would open up a whole new section in studies focused on these creatures? That’s why I’m here sir, to advise and inform you on any of these creatures.” Yoshihiro explained.
As the men finally were able to sit back and relax the alarm went off. One of the operator’s in the front row stood up and turned.
“Sir, we’ve spotted something.” She said.
“What is it?” Ken yelled.
“A moving epicenter…25 miles south of Japan, it just appeared on the monitor sir. On a remote island.” She continued.
“Get me a visual of the island right away” Ken ordered.
“Yes sir.” One of the operators answered as he clicked away at his computer.
A few seconds later, the screen covers opened and on the large monitor was a visual of the island. A large area surrounded by beaches, forests, and small mountains. Ken and the others watched as from the beach they noticed a little movement from the ground. Then all of a sudden, something surfaced. It was Baragon. As he climbed out from under the ground Baragon roared and immediately charged towards the center of the island.
Up in the far reaches of space the giant mother ship moves closer and closer. In the control room the three leaders watches on in entertainment. The controller smirked and spoke.
“Everything is coming into play perfectly. This Baragon creature was the perfect selection. Who knew how well the mind control weapon would work. If only we had more.” He said as he laughed.
“Controller, how sure are you about this plan?” Kubota asked.
“Don’t worry my friend, if this works out then you won’t even have to lift a finger” The controller explained.
“Well then, I hope it doesn’t. Because I’d like the opportunity to smash those disgusting earth creatures.” Kuronuma said with a smile.
“You’ll get your chance, don’t worry. Just let me show you something that should have happened over 50 years ago.” The controller continued.
The three leaders watched on in entertainment as the monster continued to move towards its destination.
Back on earth in Tokyo, Ken and the others watched on are Baragon seemed to blindly be moving towards its location, crawling with monstrous speed.
“Where are those maser jets?” Ken asked.
“2 minutes until they reach the location sir.” One of the operator’s replied.
“Good, fire when target is in sight.” Ken ordered.
The team watched on as Baragon roared and continued on his way when suddenly. From above he was attacked. Baragon roared in shock as he looked up to see 5 jets flying over him and blasting away at him with their masers. The frustrated Baragon roared and he leaped with his powerful hind legs at an attempt at catching one of the jets. But the skilled pilots were able to avoid the jaws and powerful claws of the giant beast. As baragon landed back on the ground he was greeted by more shots from the maser jets flying above. Baragon roared as he looked up and fired off his heat ray. But once again, the superior intelligence of the pilots saved them, swiftly evading the giant monster’s breath of flame and heat. Baragon continued to leap and with his claws and jaw continued at his failed attempts to catch one of the jets. Soon enough, the red beast realized that his attempts to destroy the jets were leading to nowhere and just opening him up to be attacked. Quickly, Baragon turned around and continued towards its destination.
“Don’t let get away. Follow it and attack.” Ordered Ken.
The jets continued to fire away from behind the giant red monster, but missed more shots than they actually landed. With every step it seemed as though the monster was gaining more speed and energy. Then all of a sudden, he stopped. The jets continued to fire their maser cannons but it seemed as though it was ineffective against Baragon. The monster looked up and fired his heat ray one again to distract the planes before beginning to burrow.
Ken watched on from the room and ordered, “No! Don’t let it get away! Lock on and fire maser missiles!”
As the monster began digging deeper and deeper the jets all loaded their maser missiles, which were large missiles that when hit on impact set off a large explosion full of maser energy. With every second the creature was slowly disappearing, and by now all that could be seen was his tail. From inside the jets all the pilots heard Ken give the order to fire at will, and fire they did.
They watched on as the missiles trailed through the air, and then down the deep tunnel caused by the monster. Within seconds the earth shook and a large explosion came out of the tunnel. Everyone waited silently as the smoke began to clear, and to everyone’s surprise Baragon reappeared. But it seemed afraid; the monster quickly crawled out squealing in fear as it was met with blasts from the jets. Baragon collapsed as behind it, where the monster had burrowed, another large explosion occurred. It seemed as though there was some kind of volcanic activity, but that wasn’t it. From, the room then and the others tried to make out what was going on, but all the dust was blurring their vision. When suddenly, one of the pilots came on the radio.
“Sir we’ve lost visual, we’ll have to wait till the smoke clears.” He said.
Suddenly he came back on, but this time in panic.
“Oh my god! We’re under attack! We’ve lost two of our planes. Oh my god! It’s a mon-“ he was cut off.
Ken and the others watched on in shock and confusion, trying to make out what was going on.
Out in the far reaches of the space the three leaders watched on. The controller looked over at the other two who were awed.
“You see, I’ve told you that I had everything under control.” He said.
“What kind of beast is this?” Kuronuma asked.
“The bringer of death. The monster that once ravaged through galaxies…the mighty Death Ghidorah.” The controller answered.
Chapter 7- the monster of death
From Tokyo everyone watched on in fear and confusion as the dust began to clear. Out from it rose a giant four legged, three headed beasts. The monster trampled through the trees and blasted away at the land with its heat blasts. The monster’s roar trumpeted through the air and it continued its assault.
“What the hell is that thing?” Ken said in shock.
“I don’t know, I’ve never heard of or seen anything like it.” Yoshihiro replied.
“Get me some units! I want some jets over there immediately.” Ken ordered.
“It seems as though it’s spitting some kind of lava or magma blasts by the way it scorches the trees and melts the rocks…” Yoshihiro said in shock.
The men looked on as the giant beast continued to trample and burn the land. As it roared and blasted away at the land the beast suddenly stopped. It’s middle head arched up and roared before opening its mouth and unleashing a flamethrower like breath to scorch the land.
From space the Controller smiled and laughed. Kuronuma and Kubota watched on in shock.
“Now you see, this is something that should have happened over 50 years ago until we were interrupted with something.” The controller explained.
“Over 50 years ago? What happened?” Kubota asked.
“We were intercepted by something.” Replied the controller as he posted up an image on the screen, which showed the meteor about to impact the island, but being blasted at by a familiar blue ray of flame and heat.
“Ah, so that’s what intercepted you.” Kuronuma said.
“You know what it was?” replied the controller
“Oh yes Controller, I do. But it’s nothing you have to worry about now. We have it all under control.” He answered with a smirk.
“I guess, after all, even though it took all this time we finally have made a move. Now Death Ghidorah will trample the land and turn Earth into a wasteland as it did to mars.” The controller yelled.
“So, this is the legendary Death Ghidorah huh? I’ve heard of this creature, the three headed behemoth that shot rays of fire and lava which rampaged through the galaxies.” Kubota said.
“Yes, this is the creature.” Replied the controller.
“Well now we can finally watch and see if the creature lives up to it’s hype.” Kuronuma said laughing.
The three looked on in entertainment.
On Earth the giant beast’s roar trumpeted through the air as it continued to scorch away at the land with it’s magma blasts and its flamethrower breathe from its middle head. Suddenly, the monster received maser blasts from above. Death Ghidorah roared and looked up to find 10 maser jets flying over him. The three-headed beast roared it arched its three long necks up and fired away at the jets with its magma beams into the air. But the skilled pilots were able to dodge the blasts, for the most part anyways. Three heads is better than one, and this time it was proven. As many of the pilots were able to dodge the beams from one head, they were caught running into the beams from the other heads. Within seconds the number of jets shrunk, from 10, to 6, to 4, to 2, and finally with a few more blasts of its magma beams the jets were gone. Death Ghidorah laughed, as it’s middle head continued to scorch the land with its flames. Not far away from the giant behemoth though, laid the unconscious Baragon, who was awaken by the loud trumpeting roar that was Death Ghidorah. Baragon looked around in confusion and quickly took notice of the large three-headed quadruped advancing closer to him. Baragon looked in fear and turned to run, but it was too late. Death Ghidorah had also noticed Baragon, and before the much smaller monster was able to escape, the three-headed beast grabbed the tip of its tail with its left head. Baragon roared in pain as the heat from the teeth of Death Ghidorah’s head incinerated Baragon’s tail tip. With no choice left but to fight Baragon roared and then turned around to blast back at Death Ghidorah with his heat ray. The blasts landed directly, but the two other heads of Ghidorah only laughed as it’s left head pulled and threw Baragon into the air. As Baragon slammed onto the ground, the monster immediately tried to get back up, but as soon as it was able to get back to all fours the much bigger Death Ghidorah greeted it with numerous magma blasts. Baragon roared in pain as the magma blasts scorched at his skin. With the little energy he had Baragon used his powerful hind legs to jump over the three headed beasts and blast it again with it’s heat ray. The blast threw Death Ghidorah off balance, and with this Baragon made another attempt to escape by trying to burrow again. But Death Ghidorah was too quick, and quickly turned around to continue to scorch the smaller reptile. Baragon roared in pain as he collapsed onto the ground yet again. Death Ghidorah roared in triumph as the monster began to walk toward the fallen Baragon, in an attempt to finish the job. With his front foot the giant three-headed beast stepped on it’s fallen opponent. The monster roared as is took in a breathe of air ready to finish the job. Then suddenly, from the beach, the water flashed and out of it came an orange colored ray of heat that knocked over the three-headed monster.
“What the hell is that?” Ken yelled.
“I know what that is…” Yoshihiro said as he and everyone else in the room heard a very distinct roar, a roar that had not been heard for nearly 60 years...
Chapter 8- The Return of the Monster
The team of people watched on in suspense from the room as the water began to swift and swirl. Yoshihiro, in particular, was amazed as well as shocked at what might have been. One again, the roar was heard and everyone knew exactly what it was, but no one willing to say anything. Then, the water began to change. As if a giant title wave were headed to the island, the water moved in. Slowly, as it got closer and closer, a spike poked out, then another, then another, then another, revealing the giant back spines of the giant creature which once laid waste to Japan. The monster everyone called, Godzilla. The creature arched up out of the water as it surfaced onto the land, looked up and the sky and roared.
“Oh my god…So, I guess the rumors weren’t true. Godzilla is alive after all…” Ken said in shock.
“Maybe not.” Yoshihiro said.
Ken looked over in confusion and asked, “What do you mean?”
“I’ve studied Godzilla my whole career sir, I know every bit about the creature. And I can assure you, there are very, very distinct features about this one that tell me it’s not the same Godzilla as before.” Yoshihiro explained.
From space the response to the arrival of this, seemingly new, Godzilla was no different as the three leaders watched on in shock.
“What the hell is this?” Kubota said.
“This is impossible! Kuronuma, I thought you and your people had already taken care of this,” replied the controller.
“Odd…I guess things just get more interesting now, we have another friend to play with.” Kuronoma said with an evil grin.
“Don’t take this creature too lightly, we all have earned of the damage it’s done to the Earth before.” The controller said.
“Believe me controller, I know all about that. After all, why would you let this little thing scare you, did you forget what we all had planned? The grand finale has yet to come” Kuronuma said laughing.
“Oh yes, of course, it will still take some time of course, we’re working on it still. But I do admit, this Godzilla appearing will only make things the more interesting, and it should most definitely be beneficial to that.” The controller said with a smirk.
“I’ll collect the samples. Let’s just see how tough your Death Ghidorah really is, after all, you have created quite the reputation with the creature don’t you think?” Kubota answered smiling.
“Don’t get cocky Kubota, watch as this creature smashes through this pitiful creature. You won’t have to do anything, Death Ghidorah will do all the work for us, and after he finishes this thing off, we’ll have all the samples our scientists will ever need. This creature has truly intrigued me for a long time, it’s unfortunate that I was unable to get my hands on this.” The controller answered back.
“Well, now’s our chance. He’s outmatched three to one, even if he defeats Death Ghidorah he won’t get past the other two.” Kuronuma said with a tone of arrogance.
The three leaders watched on with interest, as what started out as shock and fear has turned into excitement and interest.
Back on the island, Death Ghidorah got back on his feet and looked on in shock as Godzilla roared and surfaced onto the island. In his confusion Death Ghidorah stood there in confusion, not knowing what to do as the giant reptilian continued to advance, fearless of the giant three-headed beast that stood before him. Death Ghidorah stood there silently and motionless, as he felt a cold chill run down his spine. Never had he met another creature that was not afraid of him, this was the first, and the monster was unsure of how to react. As Godzilla move din closer and closer he roared as if to warn the giant quadruped. Death Ghidorah suddenly came back to his senses and roared back before firing off his red magma beams. Godzilla roared as he was met with numerous shots from his, now, three headed foe. But Death Ghidorah’s attack was not going to go unanswered, as Godzilla’s spine glow an eerie orange color he blasted back at the three headed beast with his thermonuclear heat ray. Once again Death Ghidorah was knocked back, but this time, he was able to catch himself on his feet, keeping him from falling over. The monster quickly regained his balance, but as soon as he looked up, his reptilian opponent was already in his face. Before Death Ghidorah could react he was met with Godzilla’s claws slashing across his middle face. The beast squealed in pain as his left and right head immediately bit down on Godzilla’s left and right wrist, trying to control the monster’s arms. Godzilla roared in pain as the heat from the monster’s fangs burned and scorched his skin. But Godzilla’s strength was not to be underestimated; he quickly pulled up with his right arm and bit down hard on the back of Death Ghidorah’s left head in an attempt to cause the monster to let go of his wrist. Ghidorah’s free middle head roared as he fired off his flamethrower breath onto Godzilla. As the heat of the flames incinerated his skin Godzilla squealed in pain and once again answered back from his heat ray, aiming down to blast at the chest of the three-headed quadruped. Once again, Death Ghidorah roared in pain as he loosened his grip and stepped back, but Godzilla, refusing to retreat, stepped in close one again grabbing Death Ghidorah by his middle head and slamming his own into it. The head butt once again knocked back the giant creature that seemed to be rocked by the reptilian’s attack.
As the two monsters continued their battle, a burned, bruised, and bloodied Baragon awoke from his brutal beat down by the larger Death Ghidorah. The creature looked around, trying to figure out what was going on when he suddenly noticed the other creature. The giant spines looked familiar to him, Baragon watched on as he tried to get back onto his feet. Then it hit him, an old memory returned to him. He remembered a time when he had once witnessed a giant monster similar to the one he was seeing now blast something from the sky away. A long time ago when the creature was a mere hatchling, he remembered burrowing his first tunnel when he witnessed a large flame in the sky fly towards him, but was intercepted by a large blue ray of flame, similar to the orange one he saw this creature firing off now. He remembered, and now he feared it. Immediately Baragon jumped back to his senses and got on his feet. The smaller creature, although badly damaged, made for the water as quick as he could, in hopes that the two much larger monsters didn’t notice him. As baragon reached the water he knew he was safe, he took one last look back in amazement, another one of those creatures which he saw so long ago was here, and fighting a beast that was content on destroying the earth, and he was relieved. The monster turned and swam off into the ocean.
Back on the island Godzilla continued to slash and claw at the three-headed monster, which was moving away from the monster. Godzilla reached his neck and a snapped at the monster with his powerful jaws, only to miss. Death Ghidorah saw this and fired back with his flamethrower breath from his middle head in an attempt to back the giant creature off. It was successful, as Godzilla was once again badly burned and stepped back. With this Death Ghidorah fired relentlessly with his magma beams to damage and hurt the monster. Godzilla roared and turned away as he was met with the numerous blasts from Death Ghidorah’s magma beams. Now, both monsters stood still, starring at each other from a far distance; waiting to see how they’re opponent would make the next move. Death Ghidorah roared as his middle head fired off his flamethrower breath once again, incinerating everything around him, and absorbing all the energy from the forest that he set in flames. The three-headed monster roared and he crouched over, as if in pain. Godzilla stepped to move in an attack but was met with a giant pulse of energy from the three-headed monster, knocking him back. As the giant reptilian got back on his feet he noticed his three headed opponent still squealing in pain, then noticed the spikes on his back twitching and moving.
Then suddenly, the monster arched its back and necks up high into the air and roared a pair of large red wings popped out form it’s back. Godzilla roared as he began to move in again for the attack, but with his giant wings Death Ghidorah flapped and caused giant winds, pushing back his reptilian opponent. Godzilla roared as he once again was met with numerous blasts from Death Ghidorah, knocking him over as the wind threw his balance off. Death Ghidorah laughed as he flapped his giant wings and took to the air. Godzilla got up and looked around, confused as to why his opponent had suddenly disappeared.
Then all of a sudden, to his surprise, he was attacked from above. Death Ghidorah was flying circles above Godzilla while aiming down and firing his magma beams as the flightless opponent. Godzilla’s only way of getting a hold of his opponent was to try and fire back with his heat ray, but being unsuccessful as the three headed beast was too agile in the air, dodging all of Godzilla’s attacks. Godzilla roared in frustration as he continued to fall victim to his opponent’s beams. He looked around and noticed the large boulders caused by the destruction during the battle between him and Death Ghidorah, then an idea popped into his head.
Once again Godzilla fired his beam into the sky, and as he expected his three-headed opponent dodged it, he used this to his advantage. Death Ghidorah had fallen right into the position that Godzilla had hoped for. With his powerful tail, Godzilla whipped one of the giant boulders into the air and watched as it smashed right into Death Ghidorah, knocking him back down onto the Earth. Godzilla ran in and tackled the beast in mid air. As Death Ghidorah fell onto his side Godzilla immediately stepped onto his left head and slashed at his right head with his giant claws. In frustration Godzilla roared and he fired his heat ray onto the monster’s body, burning and breaking skin. Death Ghidorah’s right head arched up in an attempt to fire his magma beam at Godzilla, but it was met head on with a heat ray from Godzilla at point blank. The heat and force of the blast was so powerful that it burned and disintegrated Death Ghidorah’s right head. Leaving one of the three heads headless.
Death Ghidorah roared in shock and fear as his middle head fired off his flamethrower breath on Godzilla’s leg. Godzilla roared as his foot was burned and stepped off of Death Ghidorah’s neck as the three-headed monster made an attempt to fly away. But while airborne it’s left wing was burned and damage by Godzilla’s heat ray from behind, causing the monster to lose flight and fall onto the ground, with it’s upper body in the water.
The monster tried getting on his feet and running into the water in an attempt to swim off, but was forced back on his belly when Godzilla jumped onto his back. With the reptilian on top of him Death Ghidorah panicked and roared in fear. Godzilla fired his ray to keep his opponent down before ripping off one of his wings. The three headed monster roared in pain as the water turned red with his blood. Godzilla took is foot and stomp one of Ghidorah’s heads into the water in an attempt to drown it. With his powerful claws he latched onto Ghidorah’s middle head and pulled. He bit down on his throat hard and pulled back the head with his arms. Ghidorah squealed in pain as the cracking of his neck could be heard from miles away. Then suddenly, with his great strength Godzilla separated Death Ghidorah’s middle head from his body, once again decapitating another of his three heads. Godzilla looked down as his foot continued to stay on top of Death Ghidorah’s final head. He clawed at it’s body as the, now one headed, creature struggled to free his head. Then slowly, the monster continued to twitch and struggle. Then finally, it was over; the body of death Ghidorah lay lifeless as Godzilla successfully drowned the final head.
As he stepped back Godzilla arched up and roared into the air in victory as he fired his heat ray again, incinerating and burning up the carcass of his former opponent. The monster looked up and roared as he made his way to the other side of the island, continuing on his destination. Godzilla continued to walk, covered in the blood of his opponent, when above him a large flock of birds flew, chirping as they went. Godzilla paused as if confused, then roared in the sky. Suddenly, the flock of birds changed course, and began to fly the same direction that he was walking. Godzilla continued on as he entered the water and vanished once again.
Chapter 9- Space Cyborg
“So, it seems as though your Death Ghidorah was no match for this Godzilla.” Kuronuma said as he turned to face the controller.
“It’s been 2 days and we can’t locate the damn monster with our advanced systems, we have more work to do. That incident with Death Ghidorah, just wait for what’s coming up next. Death Ghidorah was nothing compared to what we have in store,” The Controller said.
“Or course not, but it still needs time, and other substances.” Kuronuma said with a laugh.
“My turn, Kuronuma you should head to Earth immediately, we need those samples.” Kubota said.
“I’m going to be on my way shortly.” Kuronuma answered.
“These Earthlings are not ready for what’s coming up next. If they feared Death Ghidorah then they will definitely feel our wrath when we decide to unleash our fury.” Kubota said.
“Don’t get too excited now, remember, we can’t get too careless. With things such as Godzilla down there we’ll have to be a little more careful. But this definitely made things much more interesting.” Kuronuma said.
“Yes, things have taken an interesting turn. Although, I do admit that the arrival of this Godzilla creature has definitely made some drastic changes in our plan. By now Death Ghidorah should have ravaged through their lands. But now we have to move our plans a little quicker.” The Controller said.
As the three alien leaders continue to discuss their future plans one of the passengers on the ship walked through the door.
“Lord Kuronuma, you’re ship is ready sir.” He said.
“Ah, very well. It’s time to go to Earth and set the plan up. You know what you have to do now Kubota.” Kuronuma said as he walked out.
The two leaders watched onto their table as a hologram of a large gem appeared. It seemed as though the gem was on its course to Earth and was very close to entering the atmosphere.
“Watch now controller. As you will witness the sheer brute force of the creature that once ravaged through planets and cut it’s way through anything in its way. Let me introduce you to bladed cyborg of the Nebula Space Hunter M. Gigan!! Go!”
The world was in shock, everyone panicked as the word of Godzilla’s return once again set fear into the hearts of every person around the globe. WMD bases from across the world scrambled their search teams and units in preparation for a raid by Godzilla. The world was in shock, the monster that had seemingly disappeared 60 years ago had returned, and now more fearful than ever. In Tokyo Ken and the others sit in a meeting room along with the numerous representatives and leaders from the many other nations. Everyone watched on as Yoshihiro gave his speech with his video footage in explaining the creature. He paused and played the clip in which they captured of Godzilla’s battle with Death Ghidorah like a college professor giving a class lecture. As the men watched the battle ensue he quickly paused it.
“As you can see, the spines and head shape of the creature are significantly different that that of the Godzilla from 1954 and 1964. We know that the Godzilla in which attacked in 1954 and 1964 was the same creature by looking at the spines and snout. The Godzilla, which appeared a few days ago, have much larger spines and a more crocodile like snout, although it is obvious that these creatures come from the same family, there’s a significant difference in the two. I would also like to also point out the color of his spines.” He continued and he clicked into a new picture on his power point.
“This is a photo taken of the first Godzilla in his 1964 attack. We notice it’s shorter snout and it’s smaller spines, which are of a more grayish silver color. The spines on the new Godzilla are much larger and are more of a pink and purple color. We know that the first Godzilla was a rough 100 meters tall, by image and video analysis we can also confirm that this new Godzilla is also around 100 meters tall, as well as the three-headed creature that he clashed with. Although, the other creature was something we have never seen before but currently, our scientists are taking time to sample and study what is left of the monster’s carcass in order to gain more detail.” Yoshihiro continued as he was cut off.
“Sir, you say that this creature is different than that of the Godzilla which attacked 60 years ago, now do you have anymore evidence? What makes you think this creature is any different? After all, they’re roughly the same size, don’t you think that the monster could have just, grown older?” One of the other men asked.
“Yes, I have taken that into consideration, but I do have more evidence to support my theory.” Yoshirhiro answered as he went back to his screen and opened another video clip.
“It’s no secret that Godzilla is more than capable of firing off a blast of nuclear energy from his mouth. Watching this clip from 1964, we see Godzilla locked in combat with the monster Mothra. You will notice that when Godzilla fires off his thermonuclear heat ray that it is in fact blue. Now when we watch the clip of the battle between Godzilla and the monster 2 days ago we notice that his ray is in fact orange this time. Yes, I know, this can also fit in with the ‘Godzilla has merely matured’ theory. But if that was the case, why hasn’t he attacked since 1964? Also, over the years there have been many discoveries of various types of animal species and fossils that were suppose to be extinct discovered along the Marshall Islands, many of the fossils discovered also resemble Godzilla. I believe that Godzilla may have in fact been one of these creatures and was merely affected by the blast of the H-bomb testing. Which explains why he exerts so much nuclear radiation. Many of the islanders in this area have numerous stories of giant sea creatures that use to feet on the fish and animal of the region, but would occasionally arise to eat the villagers as well. These things were all stories prior to 1954. Oddly enough, months before Godzilla’s first attack, there had been numerous stories of a much larger sea creature arising from the ocean. This tells me that the H-bomb testing, the stories of sea monsters, and the discovery of supposedly extinct creatures are all somehow linked to Godzilla. I believe that the first Godzilla was in fact one a descendant of the dinosaurs. Whose species has been able to adapt, grow, and evolve through time to fit the way the world is. And in the 1940’s when the H-bomb was tested, it mutated the creature into Godzilla.” He continued to explain.
“That’s very interesting, but how does that tie in with this supposedly new Godzilla?” one of the men asked.
“Let me explain. If in fact these creatures did survive, then there’s no doubt in my mind that there had to be more than one. I think that The H-bomb testing must have wiped out most of those creatures, which is why only one Godzilla attacked Japan. But because there has been another one, I believe that although only one had survived the blast that many of the nests and eggs laid there may have also been affected. Seeing that the monsters mutated I believe it may have taken some time for the creatures o grow and hatch, and then feeding off the fish and such from the waters around, they finally grow and migrate, like birds. Which can explain the coming of this second Godzilla. For all we know, there could be numerous more Godzilla out there.” He explained.
“Well, that’s all very interesting, but have you any ideas on how we can defeat him?” The secretary of defense asked.
“Well, we know from the past that conventional weapons are useless to stopping the monster so I won’t even phase the monster. But, I have an idea. If you watch this clip here of Godzilla leaving the island, you will notice a large flock of birds flying by him. If you watch closely you notice that the creature reacts to the large flock of birds. As you see Godzilla immediately turns and seems to communicate with the flock, and as a result, the flock of birds change course. We know for a fact that Godzilla are among a species of prehistoric creatures that were either mutated or merely awoken by the nuclear blast. Dinosaurs and birds have much in common, and it’s no surprise to me that he was able to communicate with the large flock of birds. I believe we could really use this to our advantage.” Yoshihiro said.
“Interesting, I’d like to hear more about this later. In the meantime, you have my permission to go ahead and go through with the work.” The Prime Minister answered.
Everyone in the room stood up to applaud, but was cut off short with the emergency alarm. As everyone scrambled to get the men out and into a safe place the operator spoke on the speakerphone.
“Meteor approaching earth, get to your positions immediately.” He yelled.
“Meteor? Again?” Ken said to himself and he scrambled down the hall and ordered for all ground cannons to locate and aim for the large meteorite.
“Where’s its point of impact?” Ken ordered.
“Hong Kong sir!” One of the operators’s yelled.
“I want 3 smart bombs fired off ASAP. Let’s take that thing out.” Ken ordered, as the guns loaded and the bombs fired off.
In the WMD Hong Kong base the same order was given. The head operator charged into the room and looked up at the screen.
“How long until impact?” he yelled.
“Sir, 5 minutes.” One of the operators replied.
“Ok, I want 2 smart bombs fired immediately.” He ordered.
“Yes Sir, WMD Japan just fired 3 a minute ago as well.” One of the operators replied.
“Ok, good.” The leader answered.
Everyone watched at the 3 missiles from Japan moved up higher into the sky, closer and closer to the incoming gem like meteorite. Then, as soon as they saw the meteorite came the large explosion of colliding bombs and incoming meteorite, only to be greeted with another explosion from the two, which were fired from Hong Kong. Everyone watched in hopes of the fire to clear out, but instead it was as if the fire was making a form. There was something there, out of the flames came flying down to earth no longer a meteorite, but a giant monster. A black robot like beasts with two giant knife like blades as arms, 3 fin like spines coming out of it’s back, and a giant chainsaw on it’s chest. The monster roared as it charged in closer and closer to Hong Kong before firing off its laser, beginning its assault.
“Now, watch as Gigan unleashes his wraith onto the earthlings.” Kubota said as he watched from space.
Gigan roared as he landed onto the ground and began to chop at the giant buildings with his blades. But Hong Kong wasn’t going to sit around and let themselves be attacked. As Gigan sliced and diced at the buildings, cutting them into numerous pieces, he was greeted with blasts from an array of Maser tanks, bombs, jets, and towers. But the giant cyborg was unphased, as if they were nothing Gigan easily dispatched of the hundred of units attacking him. Gigan simply looked around and with his laser beam, blasted away at the maser units that seemed to not faze him one bit. The monster sat back and laughed as he continued to slash and claw at the city. The monster’s assault was relentless and the already burning city continued to crumble as the monster fired way with his laser beam. Gigan roared and took flight, but he wasn’t going anywhere. Instead the monster flew low, using the chainsaw on his belly to slice away at the buildings that were still standing. Gigan laughed in enjoyment as the buildings fell into pieces in front of the eyes of the world. Then finally, the monster flew high into the air and off, vanishing into the dark night sky, away from the light of the flames, which continued to burn through the city.
Chapter 10- Greetings
Stunned of the news of the arrival of Godzilla and the attack of Gigan on Hong Kong, Chujo, Shimada, and the rest of their team sat in shock as they continued to listen onto the report of the monster’s attack only hours ago.
“My god, Godzilla, I thought I’d never hear that name again.” Shimada said as he continued to examine the material from the meteorite.
“Me too, I thought the creature supposedly died in 1964.” Chujo added.
“Supposedly, but there’s no real evidence. Also, the report on the radio did say that there is a possibility of this being a new Godzilla.” Explained Shimada.
“I see, didn’t you once tell me that you were there during Godzilla’s attack in ’64?” Asked Chujo
“Yes I was in fact, I remember it like it was yesterday. Never, have I seen so much fear and panic come over people. I was only 7 at the time but that was definitely something you’d never forget.” Explained Shimada.
“Did you see the creature?” Chujo asked curiously.
“I did, it was so close. I don’t even think I was more than 2 miles away from the creature, it was massive. When it roared it sent a chill down your spine, and every time it took a step you could feel the shockwave in the ground.” Shimada explained.
“Wow, I could never imagine what it would be like to be that close to the creature.” Chujo said.
“Yes, it was quite the-“ Shimada suddenly stopped.
All the metal items in the area began to drag towards the meteor again.
“What the hell? I thought we moved out far enough to where it wouldn’t effect us.” Chujo said.
“The magnetisms getting stronger everyday. I don’t think it’s safe anymore. We need to get out of hear. Get the team ready to move out, inform everyone, I’m going to call base.” Shimada said.
Chujo ran out to inform the others but was suddenly knocked down with the end of a gun. He looked up to see a man standing above him, wearing an odd silver bodysuit, with an odd looking rifle pointed at him. Behind him stood 6 more men with the same looking suit and rifles.
“Who the hell are you?” Chujo said as he tried to get up.
“Shut up!” The man said as he knocked Chujo over again.
“Get everyone else.” He ordered as the 6 men behind him scrambled to get everyone.
Chujo laid on the ground with the gun pointed at him as he watched the other 6 men push and shove the rest of his team out of their tents towards himself. As they reached Chujo the man standing above him forced him to his feet.
“Get in line!” He yelled, as the others shoved the team into a line.
“Get them to the base, let the boss know.” He said as everyone began to push and shove at Chujo and the others.
After walking for a few minutes, one of the team members tackled the man next to him and took off running.
“Hiro!” Chujo yelled in fear, as he continued to sprint away.
The men all turned and fired off their guns, but were unable to hit the target.
“After him!” one of the men said.
“Wait!” The other replied.
“Why?” he asked.
“Well, he won’t get far anyways. There’s nothing for miles out here and he’ll most likely get lost. Just remember, if you can get away from us you can’t get away from the surroundings here. You’re friend’s as good as dead, we didn’t even need to do the work.” He said to the team laughing.
The men continued to push and shove at the team until finally reaching the mountainside. One of the men then walked over to a rock and pushed on it, revealing the hidden door on the side, which opened a hidden cave. The men, with their guns, shoved the team into the opening and continued to walk in the darkness of the cave. Before long they once again reached another wall where one of the men again pushed on a rock which opened yet another hidden door. As they pushed and shoved at the people Chujo realized that this was some kind of hidden base within the volcano. He and Shimada looked at each other in shock. Had this place been here the whole time?
The men continued to push and shove them into what seemed to be a control room. As they walked in the men stopped them and one of them spoke.
“Boss, look what we found.” One of the men said.
Chujo and the others watched as the man sitting in the large chair in the center of the room stood up and smirked.
“Ah, we have guests.” He said smirking as he walked over.
“Please, sit down.” He said as he motioned for the bench.
The men handcuffed Chujo and the others as the boss started talking.
“How ruse of me, I should introduce myself. I am Kuronuma, leader of this base.” He said.
“Who are you people? And what is this base?” Shimada said.
“How kind of you to ask. We are the spacemen from the 3rd planet of the black hole.” Kuronuma explained.
“What? Spacemen?” Chujo said in shock.
“Yes, we are here to take your planet and make it our own.” Kuronuma said.
“Why? Why our planet?” Shimada asked.
“Well, first off, it’s much larger than our former planet and you have all the resources we’ll ever need. After all, I’ve seen what you humans do with it, and you just simply don’t deserve it.” He said smiling.
“And how do you intend to do that?” Asked Chujo.
“How? Have you not been paying any attention to your current events? The three headed monster, which appeared on the island, and the cyborg that raided Hong Kong last night. We’ve already started, but just wait, there’s much more to come.” Kuronuma answered.
“You’re sick.” Shimada said.
“Sick? No, I’m just doing what’s best for my people. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have some work to attend to. Just sit back and enjoy the show.” Kuronuma replied.
Kuronuma turned and walked back to his seat, in front of them on the giant wall opened up a huge screen. On it showed the coast of New York.
“We have eyes everywhere. You cannot escape us.” He said.
They all watched on as off the coast of New York the water began to swirls and move. There was something there, and it was about to surface. The water began to swirl more and become more violent, as waves began to crash onto the coast of the giant city. Then, suddenly, something arose.
Chujo and the others watched in shock as they saw the large row of silver spines rise from the water and hear that distinctive roar. It was another Godzilla, but this was not the same one from before. Its roar was much lower and it’s snout shorter and bulkier, along with the shorter row of spines from it’s back. This was the creature that Yoshihiro was talking about. This was the original Godzilla. The monster roared into the air and it began to advance to the city. Kuronuma picked up his microphone and issued and order.
“Destroy the city, leave no survivors. Be ruthless.” He said as he put it back on the desk in front of him.
They watched as the Godzilla roared high into the air and began its assault as it blasted away at the city with its heat ray.
Chapter 11- Godzilla against Godzilla
New York, from the nation’s capital the WMD U.S. base was in a scramble. The head leader was in the room issuing orders or weapons from all over to be focused onto New York, where the Godzilla had made landfall.
“I want everything we’ve got over there stat!” he yelled.
He watched as the large group of jets, tanks, and soldiers all scrambled to their locations in the big city.
In New York, the Godzilla smashed his way through the city. Stomping and smashing everything in its path. Under it people ran in fear, many falling victim to the large monster’s destruction. Many found themselves stomped under the giant beast’s large feet. Godzilla roared loud in the air as he continued to incinerate the city with his heat ray. With his tail he swiped away numerous buildings full of people with ease. The monster was enjoying it; Godzilla picked up one of the buildings and threw it across the city, continuing to enjoy the destruction he was causing at hand. With his attention focused on smashing the city, the monster was unaware of the large group of missiles coming at him from above. As he continued to assault the city he was met with numerous missile attacks from above. For a moment it stunned him, but he looked up and once again just continued to fire away at the large city with his heat ray.
As he roared and continued to enjoy his assault, he noticed the large amounts of jets and helicopters coming at him. There was so many that it, in fact, nearly covered the sky and blocked the sun. The monster smirked as if to invite the challenge. Godzilla paused and looked up as he watched the numourous amounts of jets and helicopters open fire. Blasting at the beast with everything they had, bombs, missiles, guns, and masers. The monster just laughed as the assault from the air units soon covered the whole city in smoke.
Everyone stood by in suspense as the air was slowly cleared. Had the large assault from the U.S. army stopped the beast in its tracks? The large array of tanks surrounding the monster’s position then began to fire away as well. Bombs and masers blasted away in hopes of further damaging the beast. After several minutes of firing the units stopped. Everyone continued to wait as the smoke cleared in hopes that the attack on the beast was successful. But before the air could be cleared, out from it fired the beast’s heat ray, destroying numerous air units and smashing through the large group of tanks. The attack was unsuccessful as all the units began to retreat, but only so many made it out. Godzilla laughed as he blasted away at the retreating units.
“What the hell?” yelled the WMD U.S. leader.
The Godzilla roared into the darkening sky as he continued to long assault of the city. As the buildings continued to burn and the screams of people continued to travel through the air the monster stayed as relentless as ever, stomping on and incinerating anyone under his feet with his heat ray.
From WMD Japan base Ken and the others watched on in shock.
“My god…” he said.
“Sir, that’s not the same Godzilla we witnessed the other day.” Yoshihiro explained.
It’s not?” replied Ken.
“So sir, as you can recall during my presentation I mentioned that the Godzilla from 1964 had a much shorter snout, and smaller silver spines. Sir, that is the original Godzilla. That is the beast that laid wait to Tokyo in 1954 and battled Mothra in 1964. It’s returned, and now it’s mission is to completely destroy New York.” Yoshihiro explained with his voice trembling.
Everyone continued to watch, as hours past the once giant city slowly was turning into a giant wasteland covered in flames and smoke. The large skyscrapers that once covered the city was all but rubble now, Godzilla roared as he continued to burn the city and destroy any opposition in his way.
The monster laughed and began to make his way back into the water, when suddenly, he stopped. The water in front of it began to swirl and churn, then suddenly; rising out of the water was the other Godzilla. The monster began to move towards the land towards his fellow reptilian. As he reached the land Godzilla roared in an attempt to contact the first one. But the attempt was left unanswered, as the Godzilla, which just destroyed New York, fired at him with his heat ray. Godzilla roared in shock as he quickly dodged the blast and closed the distance between the two. The fight had began, both creatures of the same species were going tooth to tooth and claw to claw, biting and slashing at each other. But the younger Godzilla soon realized, that there was something odd about his, now, foe. The beast was extremely strong, possibly due to experience and age, yet something else wasn’t right. Godzilla roared and he took one last bite at his opponent’s neck and ripped off a chunk of skin to find something odd. Instead of bleeding, he noticed something shiny, and it sparked his curiosity. Something wasn’t right about this creature; it seemed to have some kind of metal hidden under its skin. Godzilla roared and blasted at his foe with his heat ray, exposing something on its chest. It was a machine. This wasn’t a real Godzilla, it was a fake. A machine merely covered in the skin of the original.
From the mountain base everyone watched on in shock. Chujo looked over and whispered to Shimada.
“What could this mean?” he asked.
“I have a guess, but this may be quite wild.” Shimada replied.
“What is it?” Chujo asked curiously.
“The Godzilla that attacked New York was neither the original or a new Godzilla. Instead, it’s a cyborg, I guess you could say a mechanical clone of Godzilla.” He said was the man next to him smacked him and yelled.
“Damn it.” Kuronuma said.
“This Godzilla has obviously become a hassle, I believe I’ll just dispose of him now. The fun is over.” He said as he reached for his microphone again.
“Dispose of this pest, then make your way back here.” He ordered.
Everyone watched as the two monsters continued to battle back and forth. Godzilla continued to slash and claw at his mechanical opponent and was answered with slashes and bites as well. It was an evenly paced match as both creatures became more and more damaged as the battle went on. Then, Godzilla shoved his opponent and stepped back, firing at him with his heat ray, continuing to expose the iron interior. His opponent roared and stepped back, motionless. The metal Godzilla roared as its skin began to set on fire, quickly, the creature’s whole body was engulfed in a large flame, and then it suddenly disappeared. What now stood in front of him was not another Godzilla, but a giant robot. Godzilla roared and stood back in confusion, as his opponent unleashed his true assault. The mechanical clone roared as he fired as his opponent with his eye beams. Godzilla fired back with his ray, but his opponent was too quick. His attack missed; as a result he was made to pay for it. As Godzilla turned to face his foe he was met with another blast of the monster’s eye beams. The Mechanical Godzilla roared as he reached his arm out. His wrists began to twist quickly and then stopped suddenly, revealing that what was looked at as fingers were really missiles. Now the course of the battle had changed, what began as a fairly even fight turned one sided, with Godzilla taking a beating from his mechanical counterpart. Now bloodied and battered after taking numerous shots from his opponents eye beams and missiles Godzilla roared loud into the sky. His robot opponent then suddenly froze; he stood there motionless as if something had gone wrong. Godzilla roared again and then realized this was his opportunity to escape. The monster quickly turned and dove into the bay, swimming off into safety.
From the base Kuronuma looked on in frustration along with his group of people.
“Damn it! What the hell is going on? Why isn’t he going after him?” He yelled.
“Sir, it’s not responding.” One of the men said.
Kuronuma picked up his mic and spoke.
“Mechagodzilla. Return to base.” He ordered
They watched as the monster continued to stay there motionless.
“What’s wrong with you? Return to base immediately.” He ordered again
“What the hell? Why is it acting like this?” he said.
“Chief, we don’t know, something went wrong in the system.” One of the men answered.
“Damn it.” Kuronuma said.
After waiting for a few minutes they were finally able to get a reaction.
“Odd, things are back to normal.” One of the men said.
Kuronuma picked up the mic and issued another order.
“Mechagodzilla, return to base immediately.” He said
The monster roared as the propellers on his back, sides, and legs heated up and fired on, sending the monster airborne into the sky. Mechagodzilla roared once again as it continued to fly off into the night sky off back to base.
Chapter 12- Operation Bird Call
In he hidden base in Mt. Fuji, Kuronuma sat on his middle desk as his minions around him were scrambling to make sure MechaGodzilla successfully made I back o the base. The alien leader then turned to his right hand man and spoke.
“It’s time we announce who we are to the world.” He said.
The 2nd in command looked at him and replied.
“Yes sir, I have also jus received word that the others will arrive very soon.” He said.
“Good, allow me to make firs contact, then we will update this pitiful race once the others arrive.” Kuronuma replied.
He waved his hand to give the go ahead with his plan as everyone scrambled to make contact to the rest of the world.
Around the world everyone watched as every radio and television screened was shown and heard the face and voice of Kuronuma.
“Hello Earthlings. I am here to send a warning. I am an alien from the far reaches of space, and I am here to warn you. Surrender your planet now or suffer, you have already seen the power and force of my people and our allies. If you remember, Gigan attacked Hong Kong not too long ago and MechaGodzilla in New York. Those creatures were of our doing. Things will only get worse earthlings, you just wait…unless you surrender your planet soon, prepare for annihilation.” Kuronuma said as the screens went black.
Shock and fear surrounded the hearts of everyone around the world as for merely seconds the world was silent. Then, as soon as the silence began, it ended. The world was in a scramble to figure out how to solve the problem that had now suddenly occurred.
Once again, the world was in panic, and Japan was no different. In Tokyo, the countries leaders meet at a conference to talk of the recent activity. Ken and he others were also called down as they were the ones to experience the rise of Death Ghidorah and the arrival of Godzilla. Ken and his group of people sit and watch the arguments and debates continue amongst the heads before they turned to them.
“You all experienced the arrival of Godzilla did you not?” asked the prime minister.
“Yes we did sir, it was my team and I who was in charge during the time.” Replied Ken.
“Was there ever a sign of these, spacemen?” the prime minister asked.
“No sir, not that we know of. The attacks on the world by their monsters were sudden.” Ken answered again.
“This isn’t the time to put him in the spotlight. Minister of Defense, what is the plan to deal with this?” one of the men interrupted.
“Currently we are doing all we can to prepare for an attack my the spacemen.” The minister of defense said.
“ The best you can? And what would that be?” the man asked.
“We’re not sure yet, we’re stationing all the troops and weapons we have everywhere to prepare for a random attack. And if worse comes to worse we have talked about using nuclear weapons.” The minister explained.
Suddenly, with the announcement of the possible use of the nuclear bomb the room was in a sudden rush of panic as everyone began speaking amongst themselves. With the whole room in panic Yoshihiro stood up and spoke.
“Wait! I have an idea.” He said.
“An idea? Let’s hear it.” The prime minister said.
“Sir, remember how I presented to you the relationship between the birds and Godzilla?” Yoshihiro said.
“Ah, yes, what do you have in mind with that?” The prime minister replied.
“Well, I was thinking. On the island, Godzilla easily defeated that three-headed monster, and in New York he was doing well against that MechaGodzilla creature. Sir I believe that if he could use this to lure Godzilla in we could use him to our advantage.” Yoshihiro explained.
“Hmm, have you any evidence this could work?” The prime minister asked.
“Well sir, I cannot guarantee that this plan will work out 100%, but judging off of the way he reacted on the island I believe it’s worth a shot.” Yoshihiro answered.
“And what happens if this does work? What if say it works and Godzilla defeats the monsters, what happens after? We let him wreck havoc on the country? What if it doesn’t work and Godzilla just joins them?” One of the men asked.
“I highly doubt the plan won’t work, considering how Godzilla’s reacted to the monsters in two completely different scenarios I doubt he’ll help them. But to answer your first question, I don’t plan on having them meet in any area. I believe that if we can lure the monsters to do battle in an area such as Mt. Fuji we can figure a way to rid of all of them. Say that Godzilla succeeds and defeats the monsters, I believe if we can lure him up high enough we can cause a small manmade eruption, one large enough to swallow up the monsters, but small enough to keep the surrounding area from being damaged.” Yoshihiro explained.
“That’s good, but how do you expect to lure in the other monsters?” The Prime Minister asked.
“Bait.” Yoshihiro replied.
“Bait?” The Prime Minister asked again.
“Yes, these spacemen are here for a reason. If we can find a way to lure them here we can definitely get this plan going. But, This must mean sacrificing land, and in order to do so we have to evacuate the cities.” Yoshihiro answered.
“I see, well, we’ll go ahead with both plans. Get everything set up right away. Operation Birdcall begins now.” The prime minister said ending the meeting.
Chapter 13- Experiment
Chujo and Shimada stayed seated in their chairs as the men continued to stair at them with their guns pointed. At the front of the room stood Kuronuma as he watched the analysis of MechaGodzilla on the screen.
“Hmmm, this has never happened before. What could have triggered it?” He said.
Shimada and Chujo both looked on in both shock and amazement. Never had they seen a robot so complex in their lifetimes. Kuronuma noticed the two men and smiled.
“Your both scientists I see. Are you shocked at the great machine that is MechaGodzilla? This creature helped us destroy and conquer many planets throughout its short lifetime.” He explained.
“But why Godzilla?” Chujo asked.
“Why? For a long time my people were already a powerful race, but things were getting too risky. The more planets we attacked the more men we would lose and we would always be forced to further improve our technology. That is of course, until one day when we came across this little blue planet. Our people are everywhere, even living among you. When we noticed the original Godzilla’s first attack we paid very close attention, then when we saw it again in 1964 we were shown it’s true power. It was a weapon we had to have. But unfortunately, you’re Dr. Serizawa had to go and destroy the creature.” Kuronuma explained further.
“But that’s just a rumor, no one knows what happened to the original Godzilla.” Shimada said.
“No no doctor, I can assure you it was not a rumor. Remember, my people are everywhere. We were there when it happened, we saw the good Doctor sacrifice himself to rid of the monster, and that day is the day, which the construction for MechaGodzilla began. By careful study of the original Godzilla we were able to construct our magnificent machine. And thanks to your Dr. Serizawa, we were able to use the bones to give the creature a base. That’s right, within MechaGodzilla contains the bones of the original Godzilla. We’ve merely resurrected the creature in a cyborg form and enhanced it with more powerful weapons. What you see before you is more than a mere machine. MechaGodzilla is a living creature, a biological machine, and a cyborg. Everything I command it does, I guess you can think of it as a giant dog.” Kuronuma said laughing.
“My god…is that why the bones were never discovered?” Chujo said.
“Right you are. Immediately after the Godzilla was destroyed we were able to retrieve the bones. From the bones we not only were able to give this creature a structure but we have been able to extract Godzilla DNA. You should see how we are playing with it now.” Kuronuma said, again laughing.
“Unfortunately, our encounter with this new Godzilla seems to have screwed up some things with MechaGodzilla. Unfortunately it will take time to fix, we are still trying to figure out what went wrong. But that, gentleman, is one of the reasons why we’ve kept you all alive. I know that you both are not only experts in the field of Astronomy but numerous other sciences as well, and you will prove to be very useful for us.” He continued.
To the shock of the Shimada and Chujo, they were once again struck with the end of the men’s guns and were being dragged away. As they began to fight back Kuronuma pulled out a gun of his own and pointed it at one of their crewmembers.
“Fight back and I’ll blow his head off. You have two choices gentlemen, you help us figure out what’s wrong with MechaGodzilla and fix him. Or you watch your men die and you follow with a very slow and painful death.” He said.
Chujo and Shimada looked at each other and then turned to nod at Kuronuma signifying their agreement. But Kuronuma had other plans up his sleeve.
“Good, take Chujo to the MechaGodzilla now. You Shimada are coming with me.” He said as the men dragged off Chujo.
“Dr. Shimada, I have heard so much about you. You are a very popular man among earthlings.” He continued.
“What do you want with me?” Shimada replied.
“I know that although you work in the field of astronomy you’re true strength lies in the field of biology.” Kuronuma said.
“Yeah, so what?” Shimada answered.
“Well Doctor, we have a task for you to do. Have you ever worked with Godzilla cells?” Kuronuma explained.
“Godzilla cells?” Shimada said in shock.
“Yes Doctor, we have quite the experiment for you. But we shall wait for my friends to arrive. They should be here soon.” Kuronuma said.
High above the earth in space the mother ship draws closer. As the giant alien craft draws closer and closer, pods begin firing off from the side. The first phase of the invasion has begun. In the first pod was Kubota and the controller.
“It’s time to get things moving.” Kubota said.
“Yes, isn’t it exciting? Years of planning to lead up to this moment. These Earthlings have no idea what’s coming their wait.” The controller said with a smirk.
“Yes, as if the attacks from Gigan and MechaGodzilla weren’t enough, they are in for a very rude awakening.” Kubota replied.
Hours later in the hidden Mt. Fuji base Chujo continue his work on the giant machine. Analyzing and putting pieces together to figure out the flaw of such a magnificent machine. As shocked and guilty as he was doing what he was doing, Chujo was also excited. Machines of this sort were always his dream, but because of the cause behind it he didn’t feel right fixing it. But he was already too deep into the hole to escape now; his friends’ lives were on the line. He couldn’t give up now.
While Chujo slaved over Godzilla’s machine counterpart Shimada was locked in a small lab studying the cells of the Godzilla samples taken by MechaGodzilla during their encounter. He was shocked as ever with the discoveries in which he was finding only within a few hours. Very few men had the opportunity to work with Godzilla cells and when they were given the opportunity few important discoveries occurred. But with the expertise of Shimada, this was different. But he was still curious as to why the spacemen were so interested in Godzilla cells. Shimada continued his work before jumping to the sound of a door opening. He turned to find Kuronuma enter with two other men. For a moment they starred at each other silently, then, the one in the middle spoke.
“It’s good to finally meet you Doctor. I am the Controller of Planet ex and the Xian race. I understand that Kuronuma has you studying the Godzilla cells.” He said.
“Yes, he has.” Shimada answered.
“Good, we are grateful to have you hear studying the cells. It is very important to have someone on your stature to study these cells with us. Our scientists can only go so far, it’s great to have you on board.” He said.
“I’m not here by choice spaceman. Don’t think I enjoy this.” Shimada snapped.
“Of course, but remember dear Doctor, that your friends are here in prison. And if you or your friend refuses to help us in our cause, you can join them after we shoot them.” The controller answered.
“What am I even working on?” Shimada snapped back.
“Just an experiment Doctor, something that our scientists have been working on for quite some time. As a matter of fact we nearly finished, that is, until this Godzilla reappeared. Now we have to make some slight adjustments, which is why you’re here Doctor.” The controller answered.
Shimada looked at the three men in disgust as he turned back to focus on the Godzilla cells. With no warning, a voice over the intercom came on.
“Sir, the MechaGodzilla will take some time. We’re not sure how much longer.” The voice said.
“Damn it. What the hell do we do now?” Kuronuma said.
“Now, it’s my turn again.” Kubota said.
“Your turn again?” the controller said with a confused look.
“Yes, you both had your chance, now your precious Death Ghidorah is dead and his might MechaGodzilla has some repairs to make. Gigan will keep everyone busy until then.” He explained.
“I guess we’ll have to let that be” Kuronuma answered.
“Don’t forget, I still have one more surprise, and then we have our…experiment here to unleash as well.” The controller said.
“Fine fine, don’t worry, I won’t be too hard on them.” Kubota said.
With that, Kubota took his index finger and pressed it hard against his temple before issuing an order.
“Hmm, since we’re in Japan I might as well make things a but more convenient. Gigan, let’s go! Unleash your wrath on Japan. Start with Yokohama, its nice and close so we can watch front row.” He said.
Chapter 14- Godzilla vs. Gigan
The sound of iron bangs and the gravel churns as Yoshihiro and the others put in the last minute touch ups on their first ever Godzilla birdcall device. It had only been a few days and already they were able to establish one station in the middle of Yokohama.
“Looks good.” Yoshihiro said.
“Thank you sir.” One of the workers answered.
“Now, all I have to do now is get the system running and this thing should be good to go.” Yoshihiro said as he turned to walk toward the building that they were using for the control room.
As Yoshihiro continued to click away at the keyboard to get the system up and running one of the workers run toward him.
Bent over and out of breath he forced out, “Sir, call for you. It’s urgent.” He said.
Yoshihiro, with an odd expression on his face, looked up and picked up the phone.
“Hello, this is Yoshihiro speaking.” He said.
On the phone was Ken.
“Yoshihiro, I suggest you finish whatever your doing and hurry it up quick.” Ken said with a tense tone.
“What’s wrong?” Yoshihiro replied.
“You have a large unidentified object heading your way.” Ken explained.
“A large unidentified object?” Yoshihiro asked.
“Yes, something big, it must be one of those creatures that attacked in the past few days.” Ken said.
“How do you know?” replied Yoshihiro
“It’s taken out every unit we’ve sent it’s way, hurry and get out of there now!” Ken yelled.
“How long do I have?” Yoshihiro said, his voice trembling.
“30 minutes run now! Drop what you’re doing and get the hell out of there, that city is going to turn into a hell hole. We’re sending every unit we have.” Ken said.
“Holy shit…” Yoshihiro said as he hung up the phone.
Immediately, Yoshihiro ran outside to inform the others. Still in panic he quickly ran through the large crowds of workers.
“Everybody out now! This is an emergency, scramble!” He screamed.
The workers looked over and immediately dropped what they were doing. Everyone scrambled and ran to their cars in an attempt to leave the situation, still confused as to what was going on.
“Get out of here now! GO!” Yoshihiro continued to yell as he ran amongst them.
Suddenly, Yoshihiro stopped and thought to himself before speaking.
“Shit, why didn’t I think of that?” he said to himself.
Quickly, he turned and ran back into the building.
“Sir, we have to go!” one of the men yelled at him.
“Wait, get the car ready, I won’t be long.” Yoshirhiro turned and yelled back.
Inside, Yoshihiro quickly ran to the computer and began typing away at the keyboard again.
“C’mon you *******, upload quicker. We need to work, this is our chance.” He said.
As scared as he was, he was more determined to finish the job he had worked to hard to start. As he continued to type away at the system to put everything into play he looked down at his watch, only 10 minutes left before the creature would land in Yokohama.
“Shit, c’mon!” he yelled.
“Sir, we have to leave now!!” the man yelled as he charged into the room and grabbed Yoshihiro by the arm, forcing him out.
“Wait! One last thing.” Yoshihiro said as he pushed the man away.
Yoshihiro charged towards the computer and clicked one last button before turning around and running to the car.
“What the hell are you doing?” the man said.
“Saving our Asses.” Yoshihiro said as they both jumped into the car and began to drive off.
Both men were relieved to finally be on their way, but with so little time left, it was still dangerous for them. The car raced down the empty streets when both men noticed something. It seemed as though the sun had been blocked off, they were covered in a large shadow. Yoshihiro stuck his head out of the window to notice a large creature form the sky coming closer and closer. As the drove farther away the creature came closer and closer to the ground. Yoshihiro noticed the giant blades on its arms and it’s red eye, it was Gigan, the monster that had attacked and ravaged Hong Kong. Now it was here to do the same with Yokohama.
“Damn it. Let’s hope this works.” Ken said to himself as he watched the monster begin to tear up the city.
Yoshihiro turned to pick up the phone and call into base.
“This is Yoshihiro, we are going to be out of Yokohama in a few minutes. I’m calling to confirm the monster. This is the same thing that attacked Hong Kong.” He said.
“It’s called Gigan.” Replied Ken.
“Gigan?” Yoshihiro answered back.
“Yeah, the spacemen referred to that one as Gigan, the other is MechaGodzilla.” Ken said.
“Well, Gigan’s tearing a new one on Yokohama, so you better get your **** here soon.” Yoshihiro said.
“They’ll be there in a few minutes.” Ken replied.
As Yoshihiro and his driver moved farther and farther away, he noticed the monster became more and more aggressive with every slice he made at the giant buildings with his giant blade like arms. Then suddenly, closing in, Yoshihiro noticed it. The giant rows of tanks and large jets that covered the sky, also by sea were giant warships. Ken was no kidding when he said he was sending all units. As quickly as he noticed it, was how quickly the units opened fire. Yoshihiro watched as the large array of masers, missiles, and bombs all hit the space monster clean. Gigan roared in panic but was not hesitant to fire back, blowing a large hole into the tank units with his laser. But the fighters were unfazed, attempt after attempt the units fired off everything they had, but it was still not enough. Gigan laughed as he stuck out his arm and fired off 2 giant blades into the sky, slicing through most of the air units. The monster then turned around to face the sea and blasted away at the giant ships firing from the bay. Now the fighters seemed to be getting the idea, with countless men lost they could not afford anymore. Once again, the monster forced the units to retreat. But Gigan was ruthless, not allowing anyone to escape; he blasted away at the retreating units with his laser in an attempt to wipe everything out.
The giant space cyborg laughed as he continued on with his attack, slicing in half giant buildings and torching the city with his powerful laser. When suddenly, the waters from behind him, in the bay area, began to swirl and churn. Gigan turned around and looked in only to be met with a heat ray blast to the chest. Gigan roared in pain as the blast knocked him down. Out of the water arose Godzilla. The monster roared in the sky as he rose up out of the bay and entered the giant city.
“That’s it! The plan worked!” Yoshihiro yelled as he watched from a distance.
Immediately he picked up the phone and called in.
“Yoshihiro to base. The plan worked! I repeat, the plan worked. Godzilla has arrived onto Yokohama.” He said.
Everyone around Japan watched as the two monsters began to do battle. Godzilla roared as he attempted to advance on the giant space monster, but was introduced the Gigan’s giant blades as the cyborg swung at the giant monster with cruel intent. Godzilla roared as one of the giant blades sliced across his chest and then fired back with a blast of his heat ray. Gigan squealed in pain as he took a step back and then fired off his sharp disks at the reptilian. Godzilla ducked both discs then moved in to close the distance. Proving his ability to not make the same mistake twice Godzilla grabbed onto one of Gigan’s arms in an attempt to keep the monster from slashing at him again all while controlling Gigan’s other arm with his hand on Gigan’s wrist. Immediately Godzilla bit down on Gigan's neck, but forgot about the cyborg’s giant chainsaw on his chest. Godzilla roared as the saw sliced through his skin and down his side, splattering blood all over the city. Immediately Godzilla grabbed onto one of Gigan’s legs, lifted him high into the air, then slammed him hard onto the ground. As the space cyborg tried to stand back up he was surprised by Godzilla’s foot stomping onto his face. Gigan squealed in pain as Godzilla continued to stomp down on his face. Godzilla roared in confidence and he fired as his fallen foe. Gigan roared as he attempted to get up once more, only to eat a tail whip to the side, knocking him over again. Gigan roared in frustration and took flight, just barley missing another smack form Godzilla’s tail. In the sky Gigan was too quick, firing off his laser at the giant reptile and hitting every time. Godzilla fired off his heat ray, but was unsuccessful as the monster was far too agile and quick. Gigan stopped and laughed at his opponent, but Godzilla answered with a heat ray attack. Being much more agile in the air, Gigan easily dodged the blast and countered by flying in and slicing up Godzilla once more with his chest saw. Godzilla roared in pain as the blade sliced through his skin again. Godzilla roared as he crouched over in pain, Gigan saw laughed as he flew in to take the advantage. The monster flew straight in and pulled back his left arm with the intention of finishing this fight with one more slice from his giant blade on his arm when suddenly, Godzilla turned around and grabbed his arm before the blade hit. Using his momentum against him Godzilla held onto Gigan’s arm and flipped him onto the ground. Godzilla has his opponent down once again, and this time, he wasn’t going to let him go with ease. Still holding onto Gigan’s arm Godzilla fired off with his heat ray once again on his downed opponent. Gigan roared in pain as he pushed and shoved, trying to get up and away. But Godzilla was having none of it, and with a twist and a pull, ripped off Gigan’s arm. Gigan squealed in pain as he fired off with his laser at an attempt to get Godzilla off of him. With his superior strength Godzilla forced Gigan’s other arm in his hands and again, with a twist and pull, also ripped that off. Gigan roared in pain as his two blades were now gone. The monster took a quick aim and fired his laser, hitting Godzilla right in the face. The monster king roared and he stepped back, just the few seconds Gigan needed. The giant cyborg roared and it took flight and retreated, taking to the skies as fast as he could, and vanishing into the air within seconds. Godzilla watched as his opponent flew away and roared.
From the hidden base in Mt. Fuji the three aliens watched.
“What? How is that possible? Gigan defeated and losing both his arms?” Kubota shouted in anger as he slammed his fist onto the table.
“Apparently you’re Gigan wasn’t much of a match either.” Kuronuma said with a smirk.
“Don’t get cocky, we’ll make a few adjustments and it will be stronger than ever.” Kubota snapped back.
“MechaGodzilla has been the only creature that we have that has forced the monster to retreat.” Kuronuma replied.
“How are the repairs for that anyways?” The controller asked.
“Good, we’re 97% complete. This Chujo is quite the mechanic.” Kuronuma answered.
“Good, we ready to attack soon. It’s time for our next surprise.” The Controller said.
“What are you talking about?” Kubota replied.
“The meteorite.” Said Kuronuma.
“Yes, the meteorite. It’s time.” The Controller said.
The three men walked over to the giant monitor and called for Chujo and Shimada. From the side doors the two men were brought in handcuffs, exhausted and hungry the two men were forced to sit and watch.
“Now doctors, watch, you can see what it was that you spent so much time studying.” The controller said with a smile.
“What the hell are you talking about?” Chujo said.
“The meteorite of course.” Kuronuma answered.
“You’ll soon realize what you were really studying.” Kubota said.
“What? There’s something else?” Shimada said.
“Oh yes Doctor, just wait and see. It will happen any minute now.” Kuronuma said.
Everyone watched as, once again, the meteor glew a bright color. But this time, something else was happening. It seemed to be setting on fire, when they heard an odd noise.
“Is that cracking I hear?” Shimada said.
“Oh yes doctor, it is.” The controller said with a smile.
“Don’t tell me…that that thing is a damn egg.” Chujo said.
“That’s exactly what it was.” Kubota replied.
The two men watched in shock as the meteor cracked and steamed before being completely covered in flames. Out of nowhere occurred a giant explosion, and then the flames began to take form. Out of the flames formed a massive, golden, three-headed monster.
“Let me present to all of you, the king of terror. The mighty King Ghidorah.” The Controller said.
“This creature will lay waste to the people of this planet.” Kubota said.
All three alien leaders laughed as they watched the giant beast fly off toward Yokohama to attempt its first assault on the human world.
Chapter 15- The King of Terror
From Tokyo Ken and the others watched in aw as Godzilla roamed about the ruined city. Ken grabbed the phone, contacting Yoshihiro, who was miles away from the city by now. After waiting a few seconds he finally received and answer.
“Yoshihiro, is there a way to get Godzilla to leave the city?” he said.
“Trying, but it seems something’s wrong, maybe the machines been destroyed during the battle. But Yokohama’s been so badly damaged, I don’t think it matters, as long as he doesn’t move into the other cities.” Yoshihiro explained.
“Damn it, well, inform all surrounding towns and cities to **** off their power. Maybe he’ll just leave.” Ken said.
“Yes sir, right away.” Yoshihiro replied.
Ken hung up the phone and went to sit down when suddenly, the alarm went off. The sudden alarm made Ken jump out off his seat.
“What the hell is it this time?” Ken said.
“Sir, we’ve spotted an unidentified flying object heading toward Yokohama. Sending visual now. ” The person said over the intercom.
From the room Ken and everyone else watched as what showed up on the monitor send a chill down their spine. King Ghidorah, the giant three headed space dragon that arose from the meteor in Mt. Fuji as closing in on Yokohama and ready to make it’s assault.
“Shit! Assemble every air unit we have! Scramble!!” Ken shouted.
From the base, pilots sprint to their planes as everyone finishes their last touch ups. The loud roars of engines go off as the planes all take to the air in an attempt to defend Japan once again from another giant monster assault.
Line after line, once again hundreds of units fly off to stop another attack. As they reached closer and closer their target became more visual. When they finally came close enough, the large group of jets immediately scrambled, and split up. In an attempt to attack the monster form all angles as opposed to head on, the giant group of jets spread apart, from top to bottom and left to right. Without hesitation, they attacked their enemy. From all angles King Ghidorah was hit with maser beams, guns, and missiles. The monster roared as every shot fired landed clean, but as usual, it was not enough. Ghidorah simply chuckled and returned fire, blasting away at the jets with it’s powerful gravity bolts, forcing most of he jets out of control before exploding. It didn’t take long for the line of defense to realize that they were outmatched, Ghidorah’s three heads didn’t help them either, every time a plane was able to dodge a blast from the gravity bolts, they would come face to face with another attack and another. The line of defense was outclassed in everyway, they stood no chance. Moment’s pass and the numbers continue to dwindle as King Ghidorah used the planes for practice. It didn’t take long for the pilots and military heads to realize that with King Ghidorah they were out of their league. Within moments of their attack, the planes immediately began to retreat. Ghidorah roared as it blasted away at the retreating planes, but quickly realized that it was nearly at its destination and changed its course and attention towards its destination.
As it flew circles above the destroyed city of Yokohama, King Ghidorah paused and realized that it wasn’t alone. Under it Ghidorah noticed the giant reptilian still crushing what was already ruins of the giant city. On the ground, Godzilla roared and he continued to incinerate the rubbles of Yokohama with his heat ray, when suddenly he was attacked with gravity bolts from above. The monster roared in shock as he looked up to notice the giant golden dragon hovering above him. Godzilla roared at the beast, only to be answered with laughter from King Ghidorah, as if it was insulting Godzilla. With a look of shock and anger Godzilla immediately fired off at Ghidorah with his heat ray, which Ghidorah evaded with ease. Godzilla was shocked, he roared in frustration as he fired off another heat ray, which again was easily evaded by the giant three-headed monster. Godzilla was shocked. For such a large creature Ghidorah’s agility was amazing. What was this creature he was facing now? It was much faster and more powerful than any of his previous opponents. He sat there, confused at what to do and how to handle this new foe, when he was hit again with gravity bolts from the monster’s three heads. Godzilla roared and the gravity bolts shocked and stunned him, firing back with another heat ray that was once again avoided by the larger space dragon. After minutes of trading gravity bolts and heat rays the monsters paused and starred at each other. Godzilla, the more worn out and wounded of the two, was breathing heavily and was still trying to figure out ho to deal with his opponent. But he quickly learned something new; Ghidorah was much quicker than anticipated. Before he could figure out what to do next, the giant three-headed beast had already moved in for the attack. Instead of being dragged into a physical, hand-to-hand fight, Ghidorah chose to engage his reptilian foe as he quickly dove from the sky to tackle the smaller Godzilla. But, one mistake Ghidorah had already made was to underestimate the strength of Godzilla. Ghidorah used his sharp claws on his feet to slash at his opponent as he came down to tackle him, and while he opened up large gashes on his opponent Godzilla grabbed hold of him. Ghidorah was shocked; the strength of Godzilla was amazing. He hadn’t imagined that his opponent would be able to withstand the physical attacks. Now, Godzilla had a hold of one of Ghidorah’s legs and slammed him onto the ground. This was where Godzilla wanted to take this fight. Still holding onto his leg, Godzilla fired away at Ghidorah with his heat ray. The three-headed beast roared in pain as the force of Godzilla’s breath punched into his chest and the heat incinerated his skin. But Ghidorah has more tricks up his sleeve. With his powerful wings he launched himself up onto his feet as he used his long necks to wrap around Godzilla’s body. With his middle head he wrapped around and bit onto Godzilla’s neck and with his left and right heads wrapped around and bit onto Godzilla’s body. The reptilian monster was trapped now and unable to move. Godzilla struggled to get out, and was almost successful at it when suddenly; something else took him by storm. He was unable to move for some reason, and then quickly realized that Ghidorah was able to unleash large volts of electricity through his bite, shocking and stunning Godzilla. Godzilla roared and then charged up to fire another heat ray, but was unable to, as Ghidorah’s middle head was choking and blocking Godzilla’s way of fire. He realized he was in trouble now, and unless he figured something out soon, it would be the end for him.
Watching from the Mt. Fuji base Kuronuma smiled and looked at the controller and Kubota.
“Well Controller, you’re King Ghidorah has proven most magnificent. He has far surpassed my expectations. He might actually kill Godzilla.” He said happily.
“Yes, I am pleased, our scientists really outdid themselves with this creature. Maybe we won’t have to resort to our last experiment after all.” He said laughing.
“Don’t underestimate this creature. Learn our lesson; after all, he has already taken out both Death Ghidorah and Gigan. Kuronuma, how is MechaGodzilla coming along.” Kubota said.
“Should be ready to launch in a few minutes.” Kuronuma replied.
“Good, then you should launch him and finish off Godzilla too. We have to be safe, it would be better both MechaGodzilla and King Ghidorah kill off Godzilla then risking the chance of Godzilla killing both monsters.” Kubota said.
“Right, I’ll launch him as soon as he’s ready.” Kuronuma said.
Kuronuma quickly turned to issue the order as his people scrambled to finish the set ups to the robot. The three alien leaders looked at each other and then turned to enjoy the show as their new creature continued to devastate Godzilla.
Chapter 16- Enter MechaGodzilla
From the hidden base in Mt. Fuji, MechaGodzilla is launched. The rocket propellers ignite in flames and lift him higher and higher into the air. Above him, the giant dome ceiling opens, revealing the hidden base as the cyborg blasts off into the air towards Yokohama. Kuronuma watched as his cyborg flew off and picked up his microphone.
“MechaGodzilla, when you arrive to the destination. Beat Godzilla to death.” He ordered.
Back in Yokohama Godzilla struggles to free himself as Ghidorah’s grip around his neck, arms, and body grow tighter and tighter with every passing second. Godzilla roars as his air supply gets lower and lower. He was starting to lost consciousness as his mouth started foaming. With one final attempt Godzilla charged up and attempted to blast his heat ray once again, but the constraint around his neck was too tight. Ghidorah chuckled as he continued to shock and stun Godzilla with the electricity ignited from his bite. But, something took him by surprise. Because the energy from Godzilla’s ray could not be unleashed through his mouth due to Ghidorah’s neck wrapping around Godzilla’s, the energy instead transferred and from his body Godzilla unleashed a powerful nuclear energy pulse, forcing Ghidorah off of Godzilla and knocking him over. Godzilla shook his head to bring his senses back and immediately noticed the fallen Ghidorah. He roared as he took this chance to keep him down with his heat ray, blasting away at the giant beast. Ghidorah roared as Godzilla’s ray stunned him and kept him from getting up. As Ghidorah turned at take flight Godzilla immediately grabbed his tail and swung him around, picking him up and slamming him back onto the ground with his brute strength. Ghidorah struggled to get his senses back as his left head turned and fired off a gravity beam at Godzilla in an attempt to free himself. The beam struck head on and Godzilla let go as the gravity bolt shocked him. Godzilla stepped back and roared as he fired back with his own heat ray. Ghidorah, exhausted from constraining Godzilla with his neck was much clumsier than earlier, as almost all his energy had been expelled, was his directly with the heat ray. Ghidorah roared as he took to the skies again, but was immediately hit from behind with yet again another heat ray from Godzilla, sending the monster back onto the ground. Godzilla immediately charged his opponent and jumped onto it’s back. Now with Godzilla’s weight on him Ghidorah was hopeless, Godzilla roared as he scratched and clawed at his much larger opponent. Ghidorah roared as he attempted to shake Godzilla off of him, but it was useless as Godzilla grabbed Ghidorah’s right head and stomped on it as he fired off his nuclear breath on the creature once again.
From the Tokyo WMD base, Ken watched on with his team in amazement. Godzilla seemed unbeatable, even in the brink of death and defeat he found a way out.
“Amazing, even a creature as powerful as that monster was unable to stop Godzilla. It seems as though that creature just can’t be stopped.” Ken said.
“Well, from the research on the preserved Godzilla cells in 1989, it shows that Godzilla cells heal at a rapid rate, so the damage it takes is never as long lasting as we think.” Yoshihiro answered.
“What a powerful creature.” Ken said.
Both men watched on as charging in the room came a tired looking man, who seemed to have been in the wilderness for quite some time.
“I’m looking for General Kenichi Ogata!!” The man said as security tried dragging him out.
“Wait!” Ken said to the security guards. “I am General Ogata. What is it?” he said.
“Sir, I’m here to inform you that I know where these spacemen are stationed.” The man said.
“What did you say?” Ken replied.
“Yes sir, I was part of an expedition to examine the meteorite near Mt. Fuji, my group was abducted by a group of spacemen and I was the only one who was able to escape.” He said.
“What? How long ago was this?” Ken asked.
“A few days ago, there base is stationed somewhere in Mt. Fuji sir I swear.” The man explained.
“How do I know you’re not lying?” Ken said.
“Look at all my records and everything, I can assure you that the communication to the team has been cut off these past few days. You need to get a team over there ASAP.” The man said.
“Hmmm that three headed monster did arise from M. Fuji and-“ he was cut off my one of the operators.
“Sir! Unidentified object closing in on Godzilla fast! It seems to be coming from Mt. Fuji.” The operator yelled.
“What?” Ken said as he watched the dot on the radar move closer and closer to Yokohama.
“See! They’re stationed in Yokohama I swear!! That creature closing in must be that Metal Godzilla that appeared not too long ago.” The man said.
“Shit! Get me 4 teams to search the Mt. Fuji area now!!” Ken ordered.
Godzilla roared as he continued to batter his three-headed foe. Ghidorah roared in fear as the fight had suddenly turned its tide. Godzilla had the upper hand now as he bit, slashed, and clawed at Ghidorah from close quarters. Ghidorah roared and continued to fire back with his gravity bolts, only to be answered with a blast from Godzilla’s heat ray. Ghidorah roared as he closed into try to lock Godzilla up again, but the attempt only allowed Godzilla to grab a hold and throw him over his shoulders. Ghidorah roared as he slammed into the ground followed by Godzilla’s powerful tail smacking him in the face. Godzilla roared as he moved into finish off his opponent. When all of a sudden, he was hit with missiles and lasers form above. He roared as he looked up to notice his mechanical counterpart flying in. Godzilla’s attention shifted as he turned to fire off a heat ray at MechaGodzilla. MechaGodzilla laughed as he quickly spun his head around to create a giant force field, which blocked the blast from Godzilla. Mechagodzilla laughed as he stuck his hand out and fired his missiles. Godzilla roared as the missiles hit directly, the monster turned in to charge at his opponent but was shocked by the speed of the cyborg. MechaGodzilla, with the help of his rocket propellers, shot in and smacked Godzilla across the face. Godzilla roared as he turned his body, pretending to fall. But instead used the momentum to swing his tail around and smack MechaGodzilla across the body. The cyborg roared and he quickly turned around to blast at Godzilla with his eye lasers. Godzilla squealed in pain as he fired back with his heat ray, which was dodged by his robot counterpart. But that’s where he made another mistake, with his attention focused all on MechaGodzilla, he had forgotten that King Ghidorah was also still in the fight as he absorbed three gravity bolts from above. Godzilla was stunned, as MechaGodzilla charged into hit Godzilla with 3 punches before throwing him into the air and blasting him with more missiles. Godzilla getting beaten, and badly, as he struggled to get himself up off the ground. MechaGodzilla roared as a part of his chest opened up and fired off an electric bolt of his own. Ghidorah laughed and landed onto the ground behind his reptilian foe. Now Godzilla was trapped, MechaGodzilla in front of him and Ghidorah behind him. He roared and prepared himself, for the fight had just gotten even tougher.
Chapter 17- Godzilla vs. MechaGodzilla vs. King Ghidorah
Godzilla squatted down, getting ready to charge his opponent. The odds had switched against him now; he wasn’t up against just one, but two, monsters now. Behind him Ghidorah chuckled, knowing that the fight had once again shifted in his favor. MechaGodzilla took aim and quickly fired off his missiles from his hands. As Godzilla stumbled back from the missiles hitting him head on he was greeted with a kick from Ghidorah from behind, launching him forward and onto the ground. Ghidorah roared as he took flight and fired away at Godzilla with his gravity bolts. Godzilla, shocked and stunned from the bolts, forced himself onto his feet and set his focus on the opponent nearest him, MechaGodzilla. Quickly, Godzilla fired off a blast of his heat ray, which hit his machine counterpart straight on, causing the giant cyborg to take a few steps back. Godzilla immediately took this chance and charged MechaGodzilla in an attempt to close the gap. As MechaGodzilla regained his balance he was met with a tackle from the reptilian and roared as he grabbed onto Godzilla. Ghidorah continued to blast away at his foe from the sky, but also forgot about his ally. Both Godzilla and MechaGodzilla were hit right on with numerous gravity bolts from the three heads of Ghidorah. Godzilla, although hurt, roared as his plan had worked. In order to force the monsters to damage each other he needed to take some damage of his own. Still stunned from the blasts, MechaGodzilla knocked over as Godzilla jumped and stomped on him. Ghidorah charged up to fire more gravity bolts but was intercepted by Godzilla’s heat ray. MechaGodzilla struggled to get to his feet but Godzilla was relentless, he slammed his powerful tail on his downed opponent and continued to stomp on him. Then, waiting for the right moment, he picked up the cyborg and threw him as the advancing Ghidorah. Being the clumsy beast that he was Ghidorah was unaware of the giant robot flying his way as he ran head on into him. Both monsters roared in pain as they butted into each other and then fell back onto the ground, only to be greeted with another blast of Godzilla’s ray.
In Mt. Fuji, the alien leaders watched on with Chujo and Shimada tied behind them.
“It seems this beast is tougher than we gave him credit for.” Kuronuma said.
“Yes, no doubt. Every time he seems to be outmatched he comes right back. We need to figure something out in case this doesn’t go as planned.” Kubota said.
“I know, damn it. I was hoping we’d have more time. But if things start getting out of hand we may have to move onto the final plan sooner than expected.” The controller replied to them as he pressed down on one of the buttons, showing one of his scientists on the screen.
“How far along is project Bagan coming along?” he asked.
“Sir, it’s nearly complete. The work that Dr. Shimada had done on earth with the Ghidorah and Godzilla cells helped us immensely.” The scientist said.
“Fine, we may need to put things into play sooner than expected. I will contact you when it’s time.” The controller said.
“Yes sir, this should be ready by the time that happens.” The scientist said.
Chujo looked over at Shimada and whispered.
“Project Bagan? What the hell is that?” he asked.
“Not sure, but the odd thing was they were making me study and mix Godzilla cells with the cells of that three headed golden monster, King Ghidorah. I don’t know what the hell it is, but it’s not good.” Shimada said.
“What do you mean?” answered Chujo.
“I mean, with the Godzilla cells the healing rate was so rapid it was ridiculous, and with the cells of Ghidorah I saw that it was able to generate numerous amounts of energy. They’re not up to something good.” Shimada explained.
“What? What did they make you do?” Chujo asked in shock
“It was weird, they made me study the cells, and kept telling me to try to combine them. It was odd and took me a while, but when I finally got a sample successfully combined, they locked me up and took them away. God knows what they’re planning.” Shimada explained.
“My god…” Chujo said as he and Shimada turned to look at the screen.
Everyone in the room watched on as the battle between the three monsters continued. Explosions, roars, and the thud of the monsters hitting each other could be heard clearly. It was a fight so brutal, even the alien leaders were starting to have trouble watching it, as the three monsters relentlessly tore each other apart slowly. The room was covered in a deep silence, when suddenly, one of the alien operators yelled out.
“Kuronuma Sir, we have company!” he said.
“What the hell?” Kuronuma yelled as he ran toward the radar.
“What’s going on?” Kubota asked.
“It seems we’ve been discovered!” Kuronuma said in frustration.
“How could this happen?” Kubota said.
“Someone knew about this place, they must have informed the government.” The controller replied.
“Damn it! Men, be ready to fight, the rest of us need to go now.” He shouted as everyone scrambled into their positions.
Chapter 18- Discovered
From the room gunshots could be heard, the soldiers had found the entrance and found their way into the base, now a battle between the aliens and soldiers had ensued. Shimada and Chujo sat in the control room, frightened to be caught in the middle of the action when suddenly, they were grabbed by two men who dragged them into the next room and locked them in with the rest of their teammates. As the soldiers came in closer and closer the sounds of gunshots and explosions became louder. Then, for only a moment, the area was completely silent. But as quick as the silence came, it was broken. The door to the control room suddenly exploded as a large group of WMD soldiers came charging in, most running into the gunshots of the alien men already waiting. But behind the shot and fallen men came another group of men ready for the attack. The two groups continued firing on one another when one of the WMD soldiers threw a grenade into the room, setting off an explosion that not only killed more of the alien men, but gave the soldiers enough time to surround the room and corner the aliens. Behind the crowd walked out Ken.
“Surrender now, we have you beaten.” He said.
“You really think so?” Kuronuma said with a laugh.
“Quite bluffing, show us where you’re keeping the men? Or else we’ll open fire.” Ken answered.
“That’s fine, the men are in the back room to your right.” Kuronuma answered without hesitation.
Ken waved his arm over to five soldiers who immediately ran to the room and forced the door open, where they helped Shimada, Chujo, and the rest of the team out after breaking their handcuffs.
“What’s going on?” Ken said with a tone of confusion.
“Well, you won’t be getting too far anyways.” Kuronuma said.
“What are you talking about?” Ken yelled.
“This place is about to self destruct in five minutes, you all are going to die here with us!” Kuronuma laughed.
“You won’t be getting out anywhere anyways, our final weapon is going to launched to earth any minute now. You will die.” The controller said.
“What weapon?” Ken asked.
“The ultimate weapon, the ultimate monster, Bagan. He will come down and reign terror upon you! He will suck the life force right out of your precious earth, and even your Godzilla will be unable to stop him. You can thank Dr. Shimada for helping us with that experiment.” The controller explained.
“Bagan?” Ken said.
“Yes, Bagan. We, the three most powerful races in the universe have combined forces in order to finally rid Earth of you disgusting creatures, but because you have already discovered so much of our plans I think we can end the chit chat here and finish you off. Goodbye now humans, you’re end will come soon.” The controller said as the hidden door behind him, Kuronuma, and Kubota opened up. The three leaders immediately turned and ran and the line of soldiers in front of them fired at Ken and the others, who jumped for cover and returned the fire.
As the line of alien soldiers fell, Ken and the others ran to the hidden door in an attempt to open it, no use. Immediately Ken stepped back and one of the soldiers stuck on it a C4 explosive, which blew the door into chunks. Ken and the others scrambled to get to the three alien leaders only to find that they were already in a ship, which was launching back into space. It was too late, they got away.
“Damn it!” Ken shouted.
“Sir, we need to leave, we only had 3 minutes before this place blows!” One of the soldiers said.
“Shit, everyone evacuate now!” Ken yelled as everyone ran out the door.
As the alarm continued to go off and the red lights flashed, Ken and the others sped off, trying to remember the way they got in, zig zagging through the hallways. Finally, the fresh air from the outside could be felt as everyone ran faster and faster. Time was running out, if they didn’t get out soon they would be doomed. Finally, the entrance was in reach and everyone was able to run out just in time, as right behind them blew the secret base. The cave and mountainside was set in flames and falling rock as the explosion blew a chunk in it. But they were safe, Ken, Chujo, and Shimada all looked at each other in relief and shame.
Chapter 19- The Ultimate Weapon
In the spacecraft, leaving the atmosphere, the three alien leaders sighed in relief.
“That was damn close.” Kubota said.
“Yes, but it’s too late for them now. We’ve escaped and now it’s time to put the final plan into action,” Kuronuma said.
“Yes it is, we’ll be to the mother ship in 2 minutes. These humans have no idea what they’re in for now.” The controller said as the ship landed in the bay.
Coming to greet them was a group of alien scientists.
“Welcome back controllers.” The head scientist said.
“Is it ready?” asked X
“Yes sir, it’s ready to go, the beast is becoming quite agitated.” The scientist replied.
“Good, release it immediately!!” X ordered.
“Yes sir!” The scientist answered as he and the others ran back to follow through.
From the outside, under the mother ship opened a large door, out from these large doors floated what looked to be a large ball of muscle and meat.
“Ah, how beautiful.” Kuronuma said as he watched on the monitor.
“Yes, Bagan in his Larvae form, once he’s absorbed enough energy he will be able to grow and evolve into his final form, and when that happens it’s the end of the earth.” Kubota said.
The mother ship opened panels from it’s side which shot out a beam of energy which now only Bagan absorbed, but helped push him towards the Earth. As the giant sphere creature moved closer and closer it was engulfed by the planet’s gravity, and into the atmosphere it went, covered in flames and heat towards Yokohama.
Under the arriving creature were Godzilla, Kung Ghidorah, and MechaGodzilla, still locked in battle and fighting furiously. Ghidorah stood in front of Godzilla as he fire away with his gravity bolts. Godzilla stepped back, evading the bolts and fired back with a heat ray that landed clean on Ghidorah’s chest as MechaGodzilla tackled Godzilla from the side. Godzilla roared as he was knocked over onto a building, which he took a chunk of and smashed into MechaGodzilla, knocking the mechanical beast backward. Godzilla roared as he turned to Ghidorah and tackled him onto the ground before stomping on him and slashing his left head across the face. Ghidorah roared in pain as his middle head bit down on Godzilla to shock him with his electrical bite. Godzilla squealed as he stepped off the three-headed beat and turned to smack MechaGodzilla with his tail. MechaGodzilla roared as the attack knocked him backwards, but things weren’t over yet. As he finally gained his balance he was met with a blast from Godzilla’s heat ray. MechaGodzilla roared and fired back with missiles from his fingers, toes, knees, and lasers from his eyes. A full on assault and knocked down Godzilla and confused him. Ghidorah roared as he flew up into the sky only to come down and stomp onto Godzilla. Ghidorah roared as he continued to jump up and down, crushing the smaller reptilian at his feet. Godzilla fired of a heat ray and landed clean and pushed Ghidorah off of him. The reptilian roared and he jumped back onto his feet. The three monsters roared and starred at each other for a moment, before all three notice the large object above them coming right at them. But before they could assess what the situation was, it was too late. The object landed with a powerful collision, which caused a massive explosion, sending all three monsters far in each direction.
All three monsters shook themselves back into their senses as they stood up to see what the object was. As the dust and smoke cleared they noticed a massive crater, and in the middle levitating off the ground was a giant ball of muscle and meat, it was Bagan. Ghidorah smirked, as he knew the monster was on his side. From the giant ball came a loud roar, it was alive. Godzilla was shocked, now he was dealing with three different creatures. He charged his spines and roared loudly into the air, a roar so loud and powerful, that it could be heard across the world. He was ready to fight again, and he was signifying it to all three opponents.
“You have to have to hand it to him. He’s a tough one.” Kubota said.
“Yes, no doubt. Imagine, if he was on our side we would have had no problems taking over this world” Kuronuma laughed.
“He won’t escape this time, it’s the end for him. He was a tough fight for the Mighty King Ghidorah and MechaGodzilla, but he cannot beat all three of them, especially with Bagan there.” X said.
“Yes, MechaGodzilla, be ruthless. Destroy Godzilla!” Kuronuma ordered into his microphone.
MechaGodzilla roared loud into the air, loaded his guns and weapons, and turned to fire. But the attack was not on Godzilla, but instead King Ghidorah. Ghidorah roared in pain as the missiles and lasers stung him. In his confusion Ghidorah tried to escape but the assault was too much. Godzilla, noticing this, took what he could out of it and fired off at Ghidorah as well.
“What the hell is going on?” X yelled.
“I don’t know! Someone figure out the problem!” Kuronuma screamed.
“Sir! He’s gone crazy again! We can’t control him.” One of the workers said.
“Shit! Why does he keep doing that?” Kuronuma yelled.
“You idiots haven’t figured it out by now?” Kubota said.
X and Kuronuma looked over to him in confusion.
“It’s the Godzilla bones and DNA you used. MechaGodzilla has a brain of his own, and with the Godzilla bones and DNA in him, sometimes the roar of Godzilla triggers it. This is it, but it’s fine, because now Bagan will just destroy them both.” Kubota explained.
Ghidorah roared as the heat and force of the beams and missiles blasted through him. He was pinned down and unable to escape, when suddenly, a ball of energy blasted into MechaGodzilla. Everyone turned to see that it was Bagan. The giant ball levitated closer to the three monsters and circling it was 4 more balls of energy, probably generated by the monster itself. Ghidorah took this moment to his advantage as he went airborne again and quickly fly off. Godzilla tried to blast at him with his heat ray but it was useless, Ghidorah evaded the attack and continued to fly off, farther and farther into the sky. Soon enough the monster was gone, he had retreated back into space.
“******* weakling.” Kuronuma said.
“It’s ok, the creature is merely a hatchling, and we will nurture it and let it grow.” Kubota said.
“He’s right, it’s better for Ghidorah to leave and return later. He can only get stronger, and when that happens we’ll plot our second attack. Now let’s watch as Bagan begins his assault” X said.
The three leaders watched on as Bagan, Godzilla, and MEchaGodzilla starred at each other. Once again, three monsters were locked in combat, but now the odds were two vs. one in Godzilla’s favor. Things were about to get very interesting and all three monsters readied and charged off toward each other.
Chapter 20- Godzillas reunited
MechaGodzilla roared as it loaded up and fired off missiles from it’s fingers, knees, and toes. As the missiles got closer to the levitating ball of muscle, Bagan roared as it generated more energy balls that acted as a way of shielding the creature as they circled around the beast. MechaGodzilla paused as the missiles were blocked and redirected. A loud roar arose from the beast as he generated more energy balls and fired off 3 of them at MechaGodzilla, which stunned and knocked him over. Godzilla roared as he fired at Bagan from behind with his heat ray, which hit the creature head on. But to his surprise, the blast had no effect. Instead Bagan was able to absorb the blast and generated energy balls that he fired back at Godzilla.
“Foolish creatures. Those blasts of heat and energy will only strengthen Bagan and allow him to grow.” X laughed from space.
“Patience my friend, patience. They may have run us off this damn planet, but we’ve yet to be defeated. Once Bagan grows into his true form, they are doomed.” Kuronuma said.
MechaGodzilla sat back and unloaded all of his weapons as Bagan deflected its missiles with its energy balls and absorbed all his other attacks. MechaGodzilla sat confused and frustrated and he fired off with an even greater intent to damage his opponent, missiles from all over, eye lasers, electric bolts from his chest, and a flamethrower from his mouth, he sat there with his relentless attack as Godzilla Continued to stand from a distance and fire off with his heat ray as well. Both Godzilla and MechaGodzilla starred on as the smoke cleared. Within the smoke a low thunderous roar could be heard, Bagan was unhurt. Godzilla roared as he decided to change the place of the fight. Instead of firing off with his heat ray he now charged toward Bagan with the intent to take him head on. The reptilian jumped high into the air and pulled back his right arm, preparing to slash and claw at Bagan. But to his surprise, Bagan was more than ready. As Godzilla closed in he was knocked back, Bagan had let off a large charge of electricity that stunned and knocked back Godzilla. As if it was hard enough to take on Bagan with his heat ray, Godzilla was not even able to hit Bagan due to the amount of energy surging through the creature’s body. Godzilla worked his way back onto his feet as he noticed MechaGodzilla tackle Bagan from the side, knocking the monster back. Godzilla roared and looked on in confusion, why was MechaGodzilla unaffected? Bagan let out a loud roar ad MechaGodzilla continued to charge him and hit him with three punches before unloaded 4 missiles head on. But just as it seem the tide has turned, Bagan took control once again. As Mechagodzilla continued it’s attack, Bagan knocked him back with a powerful energy pulse. Bagan began to charge up more energy balls to fire back at MechaGodzilla with suddenly he was hit by a large chunk of a building. Bagan shifted his attention as his other opponent, Godzilla, who had picked up another piece of the smashed buildings to toss at Bagan. But before Godzilla was able to throw the piece of concrete Bagan fired off two energy balls that hit him head on and sent him on his back. MachaGodzilla took this chance to fire off his missiles, which hit head on. Bagan let out a loud roar before once again charging more energy balls, when suddenly; from all around him Bagan was his with beams of maser. Coming in from all angles of the sky were rows and rows of maser jets, all coming in to help rip of Bagan, surrounding him on the ground were rows of advancing maser tanks as well. The energy emitted from the maser blasts from all the units were so powerful that the night sky was lit up as if the sun had risen. But even with so many units it was useless, the powerful beast merely absorbed all the energy from the maser and as a result, unleashed his energy pulse, ridding of all the military units around him. MechaGodzilla immediately used this moment to his advantage and fired off all his weapons at once, but yet again Bagan was able to deflect all the missiles using his energy balls and merely absorbed everything else MechaGodzilla had to throw at him. Bagan let out a thunderous roar then quickly fired off an energy ball on Godzilla, knocking him down again, before advancing on MechaGodzilla. MechaGodzilla, being the powerful cyborg he is, quickly reacted to his advancing opponent by throwing a three-punch combination to throw it off, but it was useless. The much larger Bagan tackled MechaGodzilla, and to his surprise, two tentacles popped out form it’s side, which wrapped up the giant cyborg. Bagan roared as he started to glow, all the energy he absorbed had had an effect on him. MechaGodzilla roared as it struggled to get out, but it was getting weaker and weaker. It seemed as though Bagan was draining him of his own energy. Godzilla stood up and fired his heat ray at his opponent, but it was useless. With every blast of the heat ray from Godzilla, Bagan became more powerful. As the monster glew brighter and brighter MechaGodzilla grew weaker, he roared as he felt his energy drained. MechaGodzilla was not even able to fire off his laser now, and as Godzilla clawed and bit at Bagan, Mechagodzilla slowly weakened. Bagan roared, as if in happiness as he felt the energy and life from the cyborg vanish. Mechagodzilla roared once more before going limp, it was over. Bagan had sucked all the energy right out from his opponent, and now it was time. Knocking Godzilla back with an energy pulse, Bagan roared loudly as he emitted a very bright light from his body. Then, suddenly, Bagan burst into a giant ball of energy so powerful it destroyed everything within a few feet around it. Godzilla stood up and watched in amazement as the light of energy dimmed down and the smoke began to clear. When it was all over, what stood in the middle of all the disaster was a creature truly frightening. Starring Godzilla in the eyes was a reddish brown bipedal monster, no larger than Godzilla himself, with two large spines poking out from behind his shoulders and three large horns on his head. The monster snarled, showing his massive teeth, with the intent of destruction burning in his eyes. The monster arched his head up high into the sky and roared loudly as he looked down to see the remains of the fallen MechaGodzilla by his feet. The creature smirked as he stomped and smashed the remains of the cyborg before turning his attention toward Godzilla. The creature shocked Godzilla with its speed as it quickly charged him from the distance. Godzilla roared as he grabbed hold of the advancing monster and attempted to throw him over his shoulder. But again Godzilla was taken by storm, as the monster’s strength was superior. Instead of being thrown, the creature reversed Godzilla and threw him onto the ground instead.
From the safety of their mother ship in space the three leaders watched on.
“It’s happened!!” X said in excitement.
“Yes…Bagan, in his final form. He absorbed all the energy he needed, how ironic that my cyborg would be the final vessel for it to take it’s most amount of energy from. MechaGodzilla was a fine creature, Bagan should benefit well from that.” Kuronuma said.
“I suggest we cut the chit chat and watch the massacre begin.” Kubota said with a smile.
The three leaders laughed as they watched Godzilla and Bagan charge at each other with the intent of destruction in their eyes. The final battle for Earth’s future was now under way.
Chapter 21- Battle for Earth
Godzilla charged Bagan in an attempt to tackle him, but was instead ate a right hand to the face, shaking his legs and dropping him to one knee. With that Bagan began to slash and claw at Godzilla, who immediately got back to his feet and grabbed a hold of Bagan. Godzilla roared as he bit down on Bagan’s shoulder with his powerful jaws, but his opponent was too strong and effortlessly threw him aside. As Godzilla stood up and shook himself into focus again he noticed the giant spines behind Bagan surging with energy. Bagan roared as he opened his mouth and fired off a large energy beam at Godzilla, stunning and knocking him back even further. Godzilla roared in pain as he rolled onto his stomach where he got onto his hands and knees in an attempt to stand up again, but Bagan was too quick. The giant monster leaped up into the air and one the way down stomped onto Godzilla’s had with his feet, smashing the reptilian’s face into the ground. Bagan laughed as he proceeded to kick Godzilla in the face before stepping over and stomping on him once again. From the bottom Godzilla clawed and bit at Bagan’s leg in an attempt to force him off, but it was useless. Bagan leaned over to slash Godzilla across the face before blasting at him with another energy blast. Godzilla roared in pain as the heat of the blast burned him, but Godzilla also had an answer to it. Bagan roared and arched back to fire another energy blast, but before he could do so Godzilla fired off a heat ray that hit Bagan Square in the face, knocking the monster back. It had seemed that now Bagan, even though he was more powerful than before, was more vulnerable to Godzilla’s ray and attacks. Bloodied and bruised, Godzilla stood up immediately and took this chance to tackle Bagan, smashing him into the giant, half destroyed, skyscraper next to him. Bagan roared as Godzilla sat on top of him and began to reign down punches on his opponent. The monster was helpless as Godzilla slashed and claws at his face before grabbing hold of his throat and firing off another heat ray at Bagan’s face. Bagan roared in pain as he shoved Godzilla off of him and shoved at Godzilla with one arm, while winding up his other arm or his next attack. As Godzilla shoved Bagan’s arm away he moved in for the attack but didn’t see that Bagan had loaded up his right arm to slash Godzilla across the chest, opening a large gash that spilled blood all over. Godzilla squealed in pain as he stepped back and swung around to trip Bagan with his tail, sending the beast high into the air and onto his back. Bagan roared as he tried t get back up, but was stopped when Godzilla blasted at him with another heat ray. Bagan roared as the ray burned his skin, but quickly rolled away and stood back up. Both monsters starred at each other, exhausted and weak, but Bagan wasn’t through just yet. Bagan roared as the horns on his head and the spines behind him began surging with electricity and energy. The monster roared as he emitted a bright light that arose into 5 sparkling balls of energy which surrounded Godzilla, who looked at the balls in confusion. As Godzilla roared, the balls quickly turned into pointed into arrow like shapes and jabbed into the monster, not only piercing his skin but also stunning him. Godzilla roared as he fell to one knee, unable to move. Bagan roared as he slowly stepped into continue brutalizing his opponent.
Watching from the base, Ken, Chujo, Shimada, and the others watched in shock and fear. Their defense forces had been useless and now, it seemed as though they now rely on a creature that, only days earlier, was the enemy.
“What the hell is that thing?” Ken said.
“Something I helped them create. This Bagan creature is the combination of Godzilla and Ghidorah cells, we may be in trouble gentleman.” Shimada said.
“Godzilla and Ghidorah?” Ken asked.
“Yes, through the research they forced me into I learned that Godzilla cells have an amazing ability to recover, which explains why we have been so unsuccessful with stopping him with our weapons. The fast regeneration and extremely thick, durable hide keeps up form being able to damage the monster. With the Ghidorah cells I noticed that it was able to absorbed and generate mass amounts of energy, which explained why earlier Godzilla’s ray had no effect. But the transformation of forms must have done something, because although Bagan is even more devastating now, it can’t absorb the heat ray like it did earlier. I also notice that although the creature is extremely durable, it doesn’t have the healing factor that Godzilla possessed.” Shimada explained.
“What does that mean professor?” asked Chujo.
“Simply that we may have a chance, earlier Bagan’s defense was impenetrable, but it seemed as though the transformation from that form to this one had a trade off. Great defense for great offense, Bagan is leaps and bounds more powerful than it’s earlier form, that’s obvious, but it seems as though it gave up the ability to absorb attacks. These spacemen must have planned for this, their whole plan was to unleash this creature and have it wipe us our in one blow, and they forgot that we humans are not the only inhabitants of the Earth. The combination of Godzilla and Ghidorah cells must have had an effect of that healing factor, it seemed as though with the combination, the Ghidorah cells cancelled out that ability.” Explained Shimada.
“Amazing, but it seems as though us humans are still in a lose/lose situation.” Ken said.
“Why do you think that?” replied Chujo.
“If Godzilla kills Bagan, then he’s still here. If Bagan kills Godzilla, he’ll kill us as well. I just hope they destroy each other.” Ken said.
“Well, we’ve been able to force Godzilla away before, and we can do it again.” Chujo said.
“Unfortunately, project bird call has failed…” said Ken.
“Sir, we can do it like we use to. Just lure him into the ocean with out forces, once he’s far enough he should leave us alone.” Yoshihiro butted in.
“We’ll see.” Ken said.
“Now’s not the time to worry about that General, as members of this Earth it is in our best interest to make sure that the earth is not destroyed. Godzilla shares the same feeling to this planet. It is in our best interest to aid the creature while we can and worry about him after.” Shimada said.
“You’re right…but what can we do?” Ken answered roughly.
“We can wait, as I said earlier, this other creature does not possess the healing factor that Godzilla does. We may have a chance.” Shimada explained.
The men stood helplessly and watched on along with the rest of the world, as the fat of mankind and the rest of the earth rests in the hands of a creature that, up until now, everyone despised.
Godzilla sat on his knee, unable to move from due to Bagan’s earlier attack. Bagan smirked and laughed at Godzilla as he blasted away at him with his energy beam, all while using his energy spikes to dig a tunnel deep into the ground. Bagan continued to laugh as he took his time to slowly dig deeper and deeper into the Earth as Godzilla fought to stand back up but was powerless to.
“This is it. Godzilla no longer has the power and ability to stand and Bagan has dug deep enough. Now he will begin sucking the life right out of the earth.” X said, as he watched from space.
Bagan roared as he blasted his energy beam into the giant hole he created and began to suck up a stream of energy. With this Bagan began to glow and his power increase, which he measured by blasting away at Godzilla with his energy blast and energy balls and arrows. Godzilla roared in pain, as every blast from Bagan was harder and stronger. Godzilla struggled to move and get out, but the attacks were stronger and kept him down, it seemed as though the attacks from Bagan had paralyzed him. Godzilla roared loud into the air, as with one last attempt to fight back, Godzilla’s spines began to heat up and glow. Bagan noticed this and immediately fired at him with his energy blast, Godzilla immediately countered by firing his heat ray, which met with Bagan’s energy blast. The beams collided and met in the center as both monsters fought to overcome their opponent’s beam with their own. But Bagan was too powerful, as his beam easily began to overcome Godzilla’s. Bagan chuckled as his beam moved closer and closer to Godzilla, who’s beam began to shorten with every passing second.
But when all seemed lost, Godzilla found the courage needed to fight back. Bagan stood in shock as Godzilla fought to get back onto his feet and put more power into his own beam. Bagan was shocked, and a bit of fear overcame him as Godzilla’s beam began to fire back and overcome Bagan’s own beam. Bagan continued to fight on but it was useless, as Godzilla’s sheer will was beginning to give him the power needed to overcome his opponent. Bagan, now frightened and scared, was losing the focus and concentration needed to overcome Godzilla’s beam with his own as Godzilla’s heat ray reached closer and closer as Bagan’s shortened. Bagan tried to fight back but it was useless as Godzilla’s beam hit him in the face head on, knocking him back. Godzilla roared as he jumped on his opponent and began to stomp on Bagan’s face. Bagan roared as he tried to stand back up, but was met with a kick in the gut by Godzilla, putting the monster on his knees. Godzilla, now more determined than ever, grabbed Bagan’s two large horns and kneed him in the face. Bagan roared in pain as Godzilla slashed him across the face and finished off with a heat ray that kept him down. As Bagan arched up to fire his energy beam Godzilla quickly dodged it and, with his left hand, stabbed his hand into Bagan’s solarplex. Bagan roared in pain as he charged energy to fire off his energy spears. Godzilla saw this and grabbed hold of something inside Bagan and squeezed. The sheer pain of Godzilla squeezing he organ forced Bagan to stop his attempt and throw up blood. Godzilla roared as he bit down on Bagan’s neck and forced him back into a destroyed building. Bagan squealed as Godzilla bit down harder and, with his let arm, ripped out a chunk from Bagan’s inside. Godzilla stepped back and fired off a heat ray on Bagan, who dropped o his hands and knees, still gagging and throwing up blood.
Bagan roared as the blood continued to flow from his solarplex and mouth. Godzilla had ripped out an organ that helped Bagan generate his energy and keep his blood flowing. Bagan roared in pain, as he knew he was going to die now. But instead of squealing in pain, Bagan laughed. Godzilla looked on in confusion as he watched his opponent go through with his final plan. Bagan roared as he began to glow again, this time an odd red color. Godzilla roared as he still tired figuring out what was going on, when he finally realized it was already too late. Bagan surged with energy and exploded. The blat was so powerful and huge, that it engulfed the rest of Yokohama, leaving only a large crater of dust and rubble.
Epilogue
From the base everyone watched on in shock. It seemed as though the explosion caused by Bagan had wiped out not only Bagan himself but Godzilla was well.
“Did the blast take them both?” Chujo asked.
“Possibly.” Ken answered.
The men watched as the smoke cleared and the dust cleared. For minutes there was no movement. Then suddenly, part of the ground began to shake, and blowing out of it was Godzilla, who shook off the dirt, arched his head high into the sky, and roared in victory as he moved around the area to check for any signs of Bagan, but there was nothing. It seemed as though he was finally defeated. Godzilla roared high into the sky and turned to move back into the water, where he swam off into the sunrise.
“He did it!” Ken said, as the rest of the people in the room erupted in excitement and cheer, victory was theirs at last.
From space the alien leaders watched on with anger and shock. They were unable to swallow the truth and face the fact that they had failed their attempt to takeover the world.
“Damn it, this Godzilla creature really is something else.” Kubota said.
“Yes, if it wasn’t for this creature we would have been able to take that damn planet. ****ing Godzilla, ******* you.” Kurnoma said in anger.
“This isn’t over…we’ll be back…” X said.
The Alien leaders turned and sat back in frustration as their mother ship sped off into the far reaches of space.
The world was in celebration, as the weeks of turmoil and fear had now come to an end. Announcements were made around the world of the victory in Japan. The world was safe again. Godzilla roared as he swam off far into the ocean, continuing his journey again. Because of him the world was saved, and all of mankind was able to continue without fear.
But hundred of miles away lay the Arctic Circle, an uninhabited land of ice, snow, and freezing winds. As the winds blow and the water clashed on the large ice burg a sense of unease was in the air. Deep under the arctic circle slept a creature, a creature that once set fear into the hearts of every creature around the world, a creature that had been sleeping for thousands of years…until now. As the ice cracked, two red eyes glow as the creature awakes for the first time in 2500 years.
