The First movie Brad Pitt saw

In one of the interview segways between awards actors and other famous people
are asked what the first film was that they ever saw. Brad Pitt states he saw
"....I believe it was a movie called "the Gargantuas"....I remember the Brown
Gargantua was the good one and had to battle the evil green Gargantua and in the
end had to sacrifice himself to stop him." He kind of got it right. Nice to hear
"War of the Gargantuas' mentioned at the Oscars.

I honestly have to say that I'm surprised War of the Gargantuas struck such a chord with so many. I tried watching it for the first time when the Rodan double-feature hit and I couldn't sit still. I'm supposed to like those kind of movies! I'll make more of an effort next time. Still very cool.

And for all of the "inactivity" here, it is nice to see Kaiju Phile still has such a presence on the web. Not bad. All so very, very awesome.

That's the kind of story or news that probably would've made the creators of the movie very happy to hear. That their movie inspired someone like Brad Pitt.

Daikaiju films seem to influence a lot of people in a lot of good ways. Especially War of the Gargantuas, for some reason.
