New Friend...Old Project

A few weeks ago, I got an email from a new friend. He told me he was "a big fan
of my American GODZILLA '94 gn" ( http://tinyurl.com/fn3pm ). In fact, he offered to
commission me to finish it. We've discussed this further and have come to terms, & I will
be starting back on finishing the G'94 gn tomorrow.

btw: my new friend is Mr. Terry Rossio, co-author of the 1994 rejected TriStar
GODZILLA screenplay (http://www.wordplayer.com/archives/GODZILLA.cover.html).

Can't give any more details right now, but will keep everyone updated when I
can.

This is fantastic, Todd. Once I read the original screenplay for Tristar Godzilla 94 at it´s ****ing excellent. 100 times much better than the GINO/FRAUDZILLA screenplay.

I read the script and wasn't all that impressed. It's not bad, either, but if/how much it's better than G98 is definitely a matter of opinion.

You're entitled to your opinion.
Here's mine:

The Rossio/Elliott screenplay was far and away more successful than the G'98 story in capturing
"the spirit" of the Toho GODZILLA. Mainly, Godzilla '94 did not run away from the military...he destroyed them (emphasis on the word "he"

Oh, of course. I've never said that G98...even tried to capture what Toho did. I'm just not impressed with the non-Godzilla bits of it. A little too...standard Hollywood.

Still, I'm sure I would have liked it. Note that I AM excited about this project.
