It's also suggested that he recognized that Kiryu was essentially one of his own kind. The fact that he flat out retreats from the fight when Kiryu goes into Godzilla mode heavily hints that Goji doesn't want to do battle with one of his own species.
And regardless of whether that's true or not, it's not a big deal. It really would have little effect on a fight unless the enemy had a
major attack that could put Goji down in one hit. Problem is, most guys don't have that.

Because I'm one of the best this place has.

Possible, but if he's in HTH with Gamera chances are he's going to get his butt handed to him.
|
Depends on what Gammy opts for. An elbow slash or some serious throws would work, but slaps and shoulder pushes wouldn't put this guy down.

I would say it's A LOT worse than what Kiryu goji took, HKG does weigh 70,000 metric tons, and to have him jump up and down on you repeatedly is pretty nasty no matter who you are.
|
That's true, but one of those crushes possesses no where near the same force that a flying ram from Kiryu does, or Kiryu throwing Goji like a bola.

Please, Gigan split Goji's head open, that was a brutal attack. If Kiryu Goji took a beating like that he would be sleeping the whole night. The same with an all out assualt from MG.
|
Too bad MG missiles with the majority of attacks in an All Weapons Assault. And even worse, Kiryu-Goji has shown to shrug off attacks of a similar nature. At the most, he'd wiggle a bit from Kiryu's Missiles, he could walk through the Wrist Lasers like they were supersoakers, and he didn't even take a step back from Mothra's blast.
Then again, as previously said, being shot is a helluva lot different from being nailed by a speeding car.
That will knock you out far more often than being shot in the shoulder or something.

The battle in GRA is simply the most viscious battle in the entire Godzilla series, no other fights compare with it, it's purely animalistic. But that does not take away from how brutal the fights are in GRA.
|
It was animalistic, but Goji and Ang almost never deliver serious blows. Before the end, that worst thing that happens is that Goji trips over Ang's back, Goji is knocked over from Ang's kick, and they both smash through a building.
Kiryu-Goji could take that while sitting on the crapper reading old G-Fans.

Nope, it's just funny that your saying it in this thread, because this Goji just can't dish out anything remotely close to what Heisei Gamera has already taken in abundance.

I'm not arguing to sway votes or anything, hell, I barely have a reason for this in the first place.

The time does not matter, if this Goji's beam is as powerful as everyone want's to make it out to be then it should have blown right through her wing and left a large visible hole, but it didn't. The same with the other beam that hits the length of her wing for a good length of time. If the beam was as powerfl as people claim then that wing should have been torn off of Mothra right there. It's not just a glancing blow, that beam covered he wing completely top and bottom going the entire length of the wing.
|
It's the equivalent of a grazing shot from a bullet. If the entire thing hits you, it's a lot worse of a wound than it simply passing by your skin barely touching it. Kiryu-Goji's beam has to be hitting its target in full for a fair amount of time to do serious damage, I don't see what's unreasonable about that.
I mean, this guy
incinerated a 36 x 108 meter, 12,000 ton Kaiju. This guy created Kaiju-sized explosions any time his beam hit the ground. This guy's ray was so radioactive that it shut down Kiryu's systems on a regular basis. This beam is
dangerous when used right.

I guess I'll have to go clean up the mess in the Biollante vs. Kiryu-Goji thread
