I was wondering, when we see say MechaGodzilla get blasted by Godzilla, it always roars. A perfect example is when Kiryu is getting up and is blasted in the back by Godzilla in GXMG, now, chances are Akane didn't cause that. Another example is at the end of Godzilla vs MechaGodzilla 2 when Godzilla is blasting MechaGodzilla with the spiral beam, MechaGodzilla keeps roaring. How do the mechs do it? Is it sometype of program in them that makes them roar when hit by something or what? Please Help.

I've often wondered this myself.
After much pondering, I came to the conclusion that the only Mechs I've seen doing this are the "Mechagodzillas". Mechagodzillas are generally created for the sole purpose of killing or at least hindering Godzilla, a living animal. In the animal kingdom, roars, growls, and the like are ways of showing superiority and scaring off competition and such. It makes sense that Mechagodzillas would be programed with this function to strike some natural, animalistic fear into goji during their fights to at least weaken his confidence, as odd as that sounds.
A much simpler explanation is given for Kiryu, and that is that Kiryu is essentially a living Godzilla wrapped up in armor and weaponary. It makes sense that it would roar considering it has the "mind" of the original Godzilla.

I always thought it would've been a neat plot point if Kiryu roared and it showed the scientists that made it looking confused because nobody gave it that ability... but alas, no.

Re: Imported post
Well, I think the JSDF and Godzilla Counter-Measures are wasting people's tax money making a mech roar.

Re: Mech roars...
The scientists probably wanted the mechs to be as realistic as possible so they rigged a few instinctive roars in the programming.

Better yet, why build a mech at all? You got a cool canon? Awesome. Mount it on treads, fire from space, anything that won't let the target know it's about to get it. The only reason for giving a mech a roar, is also the only reason I can think to build a mech: a scare tactic.
Of course, I'm ignoring the whole universal rule of "only a monster can harm another monster."
