[Battle Master]

WHAT IS KAIJU FIGHT CLUB?

Kaiju Fight Club is a way for our members to witness the dice battles that will ultimately decide who wins the Desumacchi. It is held in kaijuphile.com Chat at designated times posted in the Schedule in this forum.

THE RULES:

The first rule: You must be registered on the Kaijuphile.com Chat to be a member of Kaiju Fight Club.

The second rule: Observe ALL Kaijuphile.com AND Chat Room rules while in the designated Fight Club room. Obnoxious or rude behavior will get you kicked out of the room and no doubt the Kaiju Fight Club altogether. Warnings could also result.

The third rule: Once the Battle Master has called for "All Quiet!", DO NOT type any further messages. After each battle, the Battle Master will let you know when you can begin typing again. Feel free to share your thoughts on the action that has unfolded and keep from being disconnected for lack of typing.
Another way to keep from "timing out" is to periodically hit the space bar or move the Type Color Selector with your mouse.
When the "All Quiet!" is sounded again, typing must cease until the end of the next battle or the Battle Master calls a "time out" in the action.

The fourth rule: Do not discuss the fights you have just witnessed outside of the chat until they have been posted in the Forum as TRANSCRIPTS. This is done shortly after all of that session's battles have been concluded.

The fifth rule: If you show up late, remain in the lobby until the Battle Master invites you in. Once he does, please do not type until you are sure that a battle is not in progress.

HOW TO JOIN THe KAIJU FIGHT CLUB:

1. Go to the kaijuphile.com Chat and register your FORUM USER NAME if you have not already done so.

2. When you have your user name set up in the Chat, send a PM to Battle Master requesting to join the Kaiju Fight Club. Copy, paste and fill out the following form in your message:

3. Next, join the 'Kaiju Fight Club Members' USERGROUP here on the Forums. Click on the GROUP MEMBERSHIPS link in your USER CONTROL PANEL.

Once you complete these steps, you are in! Confirmation of your acceptance will be sent to you via PM and posted in the list of Kaiju Fight Club Members below. You will be good to go for future Desumacchi tournaments as well!

HOW FIGHT CLUB WORKS

Log into the kaijuphile.com Chat at the date and time specified in the Schedule for the fights you wish to witness. It is a good idea to check in BEFORE the scheduled start time to visit with fellow members, discuss the upcoming battles, place your bets on who is going to win, etc.

Wait in the DEFAULT chat room once you have logged in. Within a minute or so, you will be sent an invitation to join the private Kaiju Fight Club room.

Accept the invitation. You are now in the Kaiju Fight Club arena and moments away from watching the battles unfold!

Make sure you have read ALL of the rules and are familiar with them beforehand.

I'm angry that Megalon lost... NOT! Well, actually, the "stupid joke" factor will be missing from future rounds... sort of a downside, because Tom never fails to please with some jokes about Megalon's impending demise.
