[Battle Master] 8:25 pm: Air Battleship Gotengo - The EDF’s most powerful weapon, the Gotengo, is patrolling this area and will take part in any kaiju battle. The armored airship has a Power Number of 50 and can withstand 3 HITS.
It will attack any kaiju NOT classified as GOOD, effectively functioning as a third combatant. If both kaiju are worthy of its attentions, the Gotengo will make a Focus Roll to determine which it will attack at the end of each round.
[Battle Master] 8:25 pm: Any kaiju subject to attack by Gotengo must likewise make a Focus Roll to see whether it attacks its foe or the ship.
GOOD kaiju will not attack Gotengo but keep their attentions focused on their opponent.

[Battle Master] 8:26 pm: Red Spiral Atomic Breath - Godzilla is able to breathe a blast of red spiraling energy more destructive than his normal atomic breath. With his body tapped out with atomic energy, he now possesses an even more powerful version that is capable of acting like napalm and consuming entire city blocks. Any time Godzilla scores a HIT on his enemy, roll a d100. On a roll of 1-10, the Cover Bonus for the battlefield is reduced by 1 category (-5) for the remainder of the tournament.
[Battle Master] 8:26 pm: Personal Primal Number: - 55 - Ultimate Atomic Blast - Godzilla unleashes a blast of atomic energy so devastating that his enemy suffers 1 WOUND and FORFEITS his next Attack Roll as he tries to recover. There is NO DEFENSE ROLL against this powerful attack. In addition, the waves of energy coming off Godzilla's spines act as an atomic pulse, REDUCING the Cover Bonus of the battlefield by one category (-5) for the remainder of the tournament.
[Battle Master] 8:26 pm: ROLL a d100 to determine if the pulse will also deal an ADDITIONAL WOUND to the enemy kaiju. On a roll of 1-10, the kaiju is caught in the blast. There is NO DEFENSE ROLL against this effect.
Tapping into this much power, however, doesn't do Godzilla's body much good and he suffers 1 WOUND as a result.
[Battle Master] 8:26 pm: Special Rules: Meltdown - Godzilla's body is in an extremely volatile state. At the BEGINNING OF EACH ROUND, roll a d10. On a roll of '1', Godzilla melts down, his body unleashing a maelstrom of nuclear energy. Godzilla is KILLED and removed from the tournament. The BATTLEFIELD itself is also annihilated and becomes an uninhabited SLAG HEAP no kaiju would be willing to fight over.
[Battle Master] 8:26 pm: Godzilla's enemy is also eliminated unless it can make a successful Defense roll at HALF its DPN, with a Minimum of 15. If successful, the kaiju has escaped and wins the battle. Otherwise, it perishes in the radioactive firestorm that accompanies Godzilla's demise.

[Battle Master] 8:26 pm: Grand King Ghidorah:
[Battle Master] 8:27 pm: Flight - Grand Ghidorah is able to fly although he is not terribly maneuverable. AERIAL KAIJU do not gain their normal Bonus for Cover when fighting Grand Ghidorah! His flight abilities are based more on anti-gravity than propulsion or gliding. Grand Ghidorah will always take the OPPOSITE Cover Bonus for a battlefield, treating NONE as EXTREME, for example.
[Battle Master] 8:27 pm: Personal Primal Number: - 03 - Destroy Yourself - Grand Ghidorah's demonic mind gains control of that of his foe! The demon exerts his power by forcing his enemy to try and destroy itself. The enemy kaiju's attack will be directed AGAINST ITSELF rather than Grand Ghidorah. If it is a HIT, the attacking kaiju suffers 1 wound. Grand Ghidorah can also attack the subjugated kaiju who can NOT make a Defense Roll.
[Battle Master] 8:27 pm: Mind-controlled kaiju cannot break free until they MISS an Attack Roll, indicating that they have come to their senses and forsaken trying to harm themself. Grand Ghidorah CAN NOT make a Defense Roll to prevent a kaiju from trying to break free of his evil influence.
[Battle Master] 8:27 pm: Special Rule: - Life Force Consumption - Whenever Grand Ghidorah rolls 10-15 on an Attack Roll, he can consume energy from his food blob. If he has suffered any wounds in the battle, he will feed and HEAL ONE WOUND rather than attack his enemy on this turn.

[Battle Master] 8:45 pm: Dinosaur Snacking - Any CARNIVOROUS kaiju may avail itself of the plentiful dinosaurs in the area to heal injuries received in battle.
Any time the kaiju rolls 90-95 on an ATTACK ROLL, instead of attacking its foe, it bends down and gobbles up a dinosaur, HEALING ONE WOUND. The snacking kaiju FORFEITS its Defense Roll, however, as it is too busy eating.
[Battle Master] 8:45 pm: Both combating kaiju count as carnivorous
[Battle Master] 8:45 pm: Ancient Mothras - These strange, primordial Mothras may have cause to employ their healing powers to aid any GOOD kaiju.
When a GOOD kaiju suffers a Wound, roll a d6. On a roll of 1, one or more of the ancient Mothras sprays its healing silk onto the monster’s injuries, HEALING ONE WOUND.
[Battle Master] 8:45 pm: Mt. Fuji’s Wrath - As an active volcano, there is little chance of avoiding Mt. Fuji’s fiery violence. Every round AFTER THE 3rd, roll a d6:
On a roll of 1-3, the volcano explodes, showering deadly lava and poisonous fumes across the battlefield. Each kaiju receives ONE WOUND at the beginning of EVERY succeeding Round. The first to suffer 3 or MORE WOUNDS THAN ITS OPPONENT is considered eliminated and its foe is declared the winner.

[Battle Master] 8:47 pm: Armor - The Stranger is covered in an extremely beam-resistant hide capable of survivng atmospheric re-entry and deep space travel. This gives it a BONUS of +10 to its DPN.
[Battle Master] 8:47 pm: Flight – Stranger is able to fly and counts as an AERIAL KAIJU. It may take the OPPOSITE Bonus for the Cover offered by a battlefield, treating NONE as EXTREME, for example. However, the Stranger is equally able to function on the ground and will use either the normal Cover Bonus or that for an aerial kaiju.
[Battle Master] 8:47 pm: Personal Primal Number: - 66 - Devour - The Stranger, in his ravenous hunger, has managed to bite off a chunk of flesh. This causes ONE WOUND to his opponent while HEALING ONE WOUND for the Stranger. So great is the damage that his foe is in shock for the next round AND has its Power Number REDUCED -10 points. The unlucky kaiju who has stumbled into The Stranger's grasp CAN NOT make a Defense Roll against this attack.
[Battle Master] 8:47 pm: Special Rule - Armored Shell - The Stranger is a heavily armored creature whose hide is so incredibly tough that even Godzilla's beam cannot penetrate it. The unarmored sections of his body are also amazingly difficult to harm! In any match involving a kaiju with a BEAM ATTACK in their profile, ADD +20 to The Stranger's Defense Roll, up to the maximum 90.

[Battle Master] 8:47 pm: Destroyah (Final Form):
[Battle Master] 8:48 pm: Personal Primal Number: - 96 - Colony - The Destroyah swarm is a colony entity comprised of many individuals. When one rolls the PPN, ANOTHER joins the battle. Regardless of how many are in a battle, they will COMBINE when Destroyah assumes a more concentrated and powerful form. The enemy must make a Focus Roll to determine which Destroyah to target.

[Battle Master] 8:48 pm: Flight - Destroyah is a capable, if slow, flyer. It counts as an AERIAL KAIJU and may take the OPPOSITE Bonus for the Cover offered by a battlefield if to its benefit.
[Battle Master] 8:48 pm: Personal Primal Number: - 96 - Horn Katana - Destroyah can unleash a murderous beam of slashing energy from its horn which slashes effortlessly through the flesh of his foe. This attack causes TWO WOUNDS and REDUCES the foe’s Power Number by -10 points. There is NO Defense Roll against this attack.

I can't see why it shouldn't go to Des. I mean it's not like there's any rule that says we have to have a final round. She faought this far, and we all knew there was the possibility there'd be a meldown. It's not like we won't have a champion, like if this had happened in the final round.

In our lead story today, millions around the world are in mourning for their beloved King, Godzilla. The Monsterian second in command has officially proclaimed a year-long period of mourning, and all Monsterian flags are to be flown at half staff for that period.

In related news, the monster Destroyer has earned an Eternal Deathmark from Zardac the Great for the way in which he won the recent Dessumacchi.
