I couldn't help but notice that Space G isn't to be seen anywhere here. So I guess I may as well pop the question, how do you think he'll fit in?

Personally, he could either be a Gudis/Godzilla hybrid (unlikely), or a Godzilla clone created by the Kilaaks.

Hmmm, SG is a tricky one. I think he could be bread by an alien race. If that doesn't work, he can just come by himself and threaten the plans of all the aliens.

Red face Re: The Space Godzilla Thread

Yes; SpaceGodzilla is on the top-five utimate bady kaiju list, and we've already got several "ultimate" bad guys. To add him, Destoroyah, or anyone else not already mentioned would seriously weigh down the story and even not make it enjoyable to read. "Too much of a good thing is bad." I love SG, but really, it would be just too hard to try and fit him (the kilaaks already got enough going for them!), and otherwise would simply be too much. Sorry, but I cast a vote of no confidence for SpaceGodzilla.

Maybe another time, in another story.... like the sequel

...Ugh, I don't like the idea of any of mine going to waste. So...:

After driving off King Ghidorah, the Nebulans and Kilaaks put Godzilla in a huge carrier ship and send him into space, seemingly getting rid of the monster forever. However, the ship becomes a perpetual goldmine for nearly every alien race out there. A Kilaak ship, placed there to defend the vessel from the marauding alien races seeking to find genetic material to use for their advantage, suddenly disappears. Piloting the ship is the oldest member of the Kilaak race. He had been the one steering the asteroid so long ago when it smashed into Mysteroid. He knew the Iron Empire and kept in regular contact with them. And he carried G-cells out to them for their own advantage. He quickly returned, while the Iron Empire combined the G-cells with a failed project of theirs that was a Cyrstalline monster. The essense of the creatures were fused during a controlled Supernova, and thus Spacegodzilla was born, destined to become the new Sword of the Iron Empire...

uhh.... can I take back my anti-SpaceGodzilla vote?

Your idea is logical and workable, MR. It also breathes new life into the idea of sending the coma Goji into space. My only problem is, is that I still fear the story becoming too cultered. We don't want to feed our readers more then they can chew.

Thanks for the compliments guys, and I tend to agree with you G2k. Maybe I can just add this in at the end of the story, something to remind us that the universe is not safe, even if all of our respectable alien races are wiped out in this story.

Thumbs Up Re: The Space Godzilla Thread

I'm wondering if that wouldn't be a better ending than the Gyaos coming to ravage the planet? The thing is, many kaiju have helped defend the Earth against the aliens but the future holds a dire result of mankind trying to get rid of Goji, even if they might not know it at the time; a perfect, "But deep in the blackness of space, new life is awakening..." I'm imagining a nicely detailed "spark of life" coming to a G-cell and crystalline element that will result in Space G (broadly hinted at, possibly). A cliff-hanger? Yes, but there is your lead-in for a sequel. Maybe sending unwanted kaiju into space isn't such a great idea after all!

There wouldn't be much "waste" G-cells floating around space. Godzilla is confined in within a ship, and I was thinking the only aliens to take G-cells from it would be the Kilaaks and Millennians... Though thats not my decision to make on behalf of the Millennians.
