The Giant Claw's antimatter forcefield
I was just wondering, would the field annihilate anything that hit it regardless of size or power? We saw what happened with artilery fire, but what about other kaiju? I'm assuming this is why he's not allowed in the KK arena, but what about ominipitant foes like Majin and Armor Mothra, or gigantic foes like Dogora, Biollante(final form)or showa Yonggary that would easily dwarf the Claw. Is the antimatter field truly unstoppable regardless?

It is a ANTI-matter feild. It stops anything made of matter and disinegrates it. Now Armor Mothra's armor isn't really matter, and Majin is a god, so that wouldn't really effect them. But the Claw and Armor Mothra qwould kill eatch other, for the armor is mystical, but her body is still made of matter, so she would die just as the armor transends through the sheild killing the claw as well.

AM's entire body is mystical. If she wasn't she would have killed herself after going right through KG.

But the armor defies matter, while her body is still has matter in it. So there for her body cannot get past the sheild while the armor can.

Re: The Giant Claw's antimatter forcefield
What? Armor Mothra is MATTER. Mystical or not, that doesn't mean it ISN'T MATTER. Anything here (save Anti-Matter) IS matter, no matter what it is. It goes like this, if ANYTHING hits the shield, it is negated, vaboom. Including the air around it. It just doesn't show up as pretty.
Armor Mothra hits it, VABOOM! No more Mothra. It touches Majin (or at least his avatar) VABOOM! No more Majin's Avatar. (And since I haven't seen the Majin movies, I cannot say if Majin it self is matter or not, as I don't know what it is.

When Mothra uses TF she turns into energy, then reverts back into matter.

Re: The Giant Claw's antimatter forcefield
*sigh*
1). What kind of energy?
2). That energy is still from the matter-verse, and thus still goes kaboom when faces with something from the anti-matterverse.
Especially since it is an anti-matter energy shield. That would make matter energy even more... Vaboomish?

Re: The Giant Claw's antimatter forcefield
I do belive Sauman explained this, if she wasen't matter, then nothing would happen. She would have to partially matter to do anything, and that would hit the shield and go kaboom.

It does not cause anything to explode and any form of energy will destroy the sheild temporaliy !

You do have a point. And I guess a beam could penetrate the shield and eventually kill the Claw.

That is why it is called an anti-matter shield. If anything matter touches it, it is dead, which is why it is called anti-matter. Meaning it isn't an anti-energy shield.

Re: The Giant Claw's antimatter forcefield
A plasma based beam like Godzilla's would definitely set off the explosion but there is some possibility that a pure energy weapon would pass through. I think...

Re: The Giant Claw's antimatter forcefield
Depends. One theory about gravity is gravitons. Gravitons are "matter". Thus, they would react with the shield.
And how the energy travels would also depend. If if needs matter to travel, it also wouldn't work.

Re: The Giant Claw's antimatter forcefield
Would Charge GFW Goji be able to overcome the antimatter shield?
His beam could possibly, but he likes to physically pummel his opponents first, which isn't a good idea with the CLAW!

Re: The Giant Claw's antimatter forcefield
It is plasma-ish (which is matter). Plus, it comes from the positive matter universe (and the only thing that the shield doesn't affect is positive matter gas).

Actually, that does raise the possibility that the superheated gases from the ray(said gases having caused buildings to explode without touching the beam itself), might concievably be able to get through.
That or the sheild only covers the Claw's bottom facing... Explains the oxygen, not to mention its ability to catch parachuters in its beak.
