Need help badly

<font color='#FF0000'>could you guys tell me how? all the money is going out on the camra..... the stars my old Trex and some sorta robo trex.....oh ya lotsa flashlights............... two stars me and one of my freinds..... how do I make buildings? and can some one give me a plot? I can take care of the fights but I NEED a plot.........

Ummm.... a t-rex appears to destroy the city/world, and a robo t-rex is built to battle it..?

buildings can be made by styrofoam.  As for plot, you can do that yourself can't you?

If you have enough action, a plot isn't really necessary. When this in done. The result is generally a Big Dumb Action Movie which is almost always monumentally stupid but nonetheless cool. The 80's  were the heyday  of Big Dumb Action Movies

Oh, and BTW, if your destruction is to include burning, plain ol' cardboard works just fine.

Okay, I got a better plot... some scientist/archaeologists (whatever) discover a T-rex frozen in suspended animation... and when they wake it up... it sends a signal into Outer Space, summoning it's alien creators(masters)... and then you have too options, A)The dinosaur gets baddly hurt or killed and turned into a cyborg... or B)The Good guys built a Robo-T-rex to fight against the alien menace.

How about the dinosaur gets killed and turned into a cyborg BY THE ALIENS? It might be easier to explain them having the technology to do it than the humans. The Good Guys always find a way of defeating such things (and I don't mean uploading Norton!) so the plot won't stretch credibility TOO far.

How do you download DVDs and VCDs on your computer? I use a Windows XP Dimension 2350, and Windows Movie Maker 2 as the video making program. Lately I've been using stuff from the web to create music videos and film trailers, so I was wondering how i could get my own on the computer.

Okay here's the deal. For a while I've been doing some on and off work on a kaiju movie script. The problem is that I'm kinda at a standstill. I've got about 30 pages, witch jump around a lot. Mostly it's the kaiju scenes. What I need is some ideas on how to fill up the human elements some more. So if anyone is intersted in helping please PM me with your E-mail and I'll send you what I have of the script. Anyone who helps, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Hello again. Listen, I need some serious assistance from movie making masters. I love making fan films, but there is a problem.... My editing machine in hooked to my television. It's called a Casablanca Avio and it is nearly perfect aside from the fact that I can not make Special Effects. So, I was wondering a few things-

1. What can I use to can footage from a small VHS (I think it's called a VHS-C?

) camera on our XP? How does it work?

2. What cheap (preferably free) special effect software can I get? I only want to do 2D lasers, fire breath, and that sort off stuff, though Green/blue screen ability would be nice.

3. How do I get my footage back OFF the computer for editing?

I know it's a difficult subject, and that's why I need help. Thanks a lot,

1. The only way I can think of is to use a DR camera, preferably one you can borrow, to record the film from the VHS and onto your Camera and then import it into Windows Movie Maker (or whatever rip-off of iMovie Bill Gates packed into that thing...)

2. You can download a demo of Flash MX at http://www.macromedia.com

3. Place it back onto the DR and play your DR into the VCR while recording.

Hope that helps, if not, I'm sure one or another of our techinical geniuses will be able to solve your problem.

Hey cool, people are acctually answering my question! The only out put is a scart plug thing that outputs into the TV. I know, it's confusing, and thus the problem.

So you've got a straight Scart output? and they expect you to plug a scart right into the back of your TV or do you have a scart to RCA plug type thing?

No, there is only the scart out put, but the scart plug I have has RCA plugs that go to my TV. I am really beginning to hate this thing....

ok, just so i get this straight. You want to
(1) capture footage from a VHS-C tape, then
(2) put that into a windows XP machine for adding of special effects, then
(3) put that back onto your Avio editing machine for final cutting?

If this thing is not designed to hook into a computer, you're out of luck and will need to find another solution. Surely, the manual would have instructions for computer hook-up.

What is the difference between the demo and the real thing? How does it work, ect. Pretty much I am asking for a toutorial for compleat idiots like me. Help is appreciated,

Hello. I am currently making a film for school, and need your help. The movie is only a 3 minute long parody of old Sci-fi alien movies. But, I need help for you. Can any of you get footage from a Godzilla of Gamera DVD get footage of some Japanese people screaming and running? To make it fit, they need to be shots during the day, and with out the monsters in them. This would be a very funny joke to put in the short. You could send it to my E-Mail (Chance.R.Cole@sendit .nodak.edu)and let me download it, or post it on the internet, it doesnt matter either way. Also, and maybe more important, could any of you find me, from some source, any cheesy 50's laser and UFO sounds and music? This would add to the spoof-ness of the short (plus make the destruction less realistic so I dont get in trouble from the school) If anyone could help me, I would be VERY greatfull, but as I said I need this stuff if you will help ASAP. I would like to have it sometime today or tomorrow so I can edit it over the weekend. Thanks, PLEASE HELP,
