King Kong vs. Guiron
By: Daniel Wickwire a.k.a. Roehm
Several miles off the coast of Saipan exists a lust tropical island, not yet discovered by man. The island is only about 4 miles wide and 5 miles across; it is somewhat in the shape of and oval. Not inhabited by any type of man, the only natives to this island are various types of birds and insects. This island doesn't contain the natural recourses to sustain groups of animals or any large animal for that fact.
Today is a very sunny day with no clouds in the sky. Everything is going about as it would on any normal day, when suddenly the ground begins to quake very violently. A large section of the ground is suddenly ripped open, throwing large plumes of dust into the air. After several long minutes the violent tremors the ground begins to cease its quake. As the dust begins to settle back to the ground, it reveals a large opening in the ground. Slowly a large dusk covered object begins to rise from the ground, as it rises the dust covering its body begins to flake off revealing a gray colored skin. Suddenly it shoots its head up toward the sky to clean itself from the dust particles. The behemoth sluggishly drags its leg out of the fissure and slams it down onto the ground around the opening as it slowly lifts itself out of the ground it lets out a very deep roar. Once out of the hole it is apparent that the beast is the kaiju known by some as Guiron.
He lifts his head to look around, not knowing how or why he is here. Seeking some sort of nourishment the beast begins to move toward the ocean. Once arrive he begins to gorge on the water, despite its very salty taste. Apparently this beast can ingest the water with no ill effect. After satisfying his thirst, he begins to search for any type of food he can find. Being that there are only tree and other types of vegetation, Guiron begins to feast on the abundance of greens on the island. After eating his fill the monster must rest and digest the large quantity of food it has ingested. He begins to search for an adequate spot of land to sleep, but due to his large appetite he has eaten so much of the vegetation it has made a large area of the island barren, spot big enough for even him to lay his large body down to and still have plenty of room. Guiron slowly lies on the ground, in doing so he lets out a little grunt and after lying there for only a several minutes he slowly drift off to sleep.
But as Guiron sleeps another monster is on his was to Guiron’s little piece of paradise. 3 hours after Guiron began its slumber a large Ape kaiju, named King Kong, has just swum over from a neighboring island. As Kong reaches the beach he notices something is wrong, as he slowly creeps his way up the beach he notices a vast amount of the forest is missing and in the middle of the ruined forests lays a very large gray kaiju. Enraged by what this beast has done to this island, he begins to approach the beast very hastily. As he gets closer he begins to slow his pace as he analyzes the situation, making sure the beast is actually sleeping and not playing possum. Kong quietly moves up until he is standing over the kaiju. Immediately Kong notices the strange shape of his head, not knowing what to think of this strange creature. Kong stops and takes another look around at the devastation caused by this creature’s gluttony.
Out of anger he ***** his right foot back and kicks the gray creature on the side of its jaw. Due to the power of Kong’s kick the creature is knocked back a couple of feet. The kick knocks out several of Guiron's teeth and puts a crack in his jawbone. Guiron is jarred awake and he lets out a loud screech and begins to flail about from the throbbing pain in his jaw. The sudden movements and loud noise let out by Guiron startled Kong causing him to jump backward, losing his balance in the process and causing him to tumble backwards onto his back. As Kong hits the ground his large girth sends a tremor through the ground. As Guiron stops flailing he realizes that he is on his back, he slowly rolls himself over onto his feet to find out the cause to his pain and sudden awakening. As he gets his bearings straight he notices Kong slowly rising to his feet. Being a rather simple minded creature, Guiron instantly assumes that Kong is the one to blame for ending his slumber. In anger Guiron lets out a very intimidating cry, but Kong it not phased by his battle cry and lets out a yell of his own.
Being nothing more than a simple animal Guiron believes his only option to return to his slumber will be to kill the beast that stands before him. Guiron lowers his head and launches three shuriken-like objects from the opening on his head at the large primate. 2 of the whirling blades embed themselves deep into the monkey’s soft stomach tissue and the other cuts into his right upper thigh. Kong lets out screams of agony as the little cutters tear through the many layers of skin, fat and muscle tissue of his body. After a few seconds Kong reaches down and grabs the two stuck in his stomach, and he rips them out of himself causing him to grunt very loudly. Kong throws the blood-covered shurikens to the ground; he then realizes that in the process of removing the bladed objects that he has cut both of his palms open. Then Kong reaches down to remove the third shuriken from his thigh, as he grasps the blade he looks up to see Guiron charging wildly toward him. Kong quickly lets go of the blade and prepares to jump backward to evade his opponent’s attack. But Kong knows he has already made a mistake by taking his eyes off of his opponent. Unfortunately for Kong his evasive maneuvers where a little bit too late to completely dodge Guiron’s attack. Guiron rears his head and takes a slice at the large primate. The very tip of his blade hits Kong’s right arm cutting from his upper bicep to his lower forearm. But due to Kong’s quickness the damage delivered was far from fatal but still enough to cause noticeable damage. As Kong lands he grabs his area and takes a few additional steps back from his opponent. Kong moves his eyes down and moves his hand to assess the damage caused by Guiron’s blade. The wound on his arm is deep but not enough to disable his arm; he will just have to work past the pain if he wants to use it. A heavy stream of blood cascades down the kaiju’s arm and hand creating a small pool of blood on the ground below his arm.
Kong moves his eyes back up to the fight not wanting to repeat the same mistake twice. As Kong focuses on his opponent he is shocked to see what has become Guiron. Guiron has swung too hard and stuck the large blade on his head deep into the ground leaving him wide open of a counter-attack. Guiron beings to stomp his feet violent on the ground out of frustration of being stuck, he begins to panic and flail his legs about wildly. Ignoring the pain Kong moves over, reaches down and wraps his right arm around Guiron’s neck and pulls his blade out of the ground. Kong then lifts the kaiju up above his head and slams him down onto the ground. Guiron lets out a grunt as his body smashes into the ground. Kong quickly moves over and places his right foot toward of the base of the creature’s blade preventing him from getting to his feel or moving. Kong then reaches down with both of his hands and grasps the top part of his blade. Kong then beings to pull up as hard as he can on the blade, blood begins to squirt from the opening on Kong’s right arm. Despite the massive amount of pain, Kong still continues to pull with all of his might. Suddenly there is a very loud cracking noise and then a snap as the top part of Guiron’s blade is snapped off. Guiron cries in pain and he begins to kick and flail about wildly to escape. Kong stands over the beast with a piece of his blade in his hand, he takes a looks at it for a second and then throws it as far as he can sending it splashing into the ocean. Due the terrible amount of strength needed to break the blade, he has even further damaged his arm increasing the amount of blood flow from the wound. Kong begins to clutch his right arm and applies pressure in an attempt slow the bleeding. Because the increased blood loss, terrible pain and the amount of blood he has already lost during the battle Kong begins to feel woozy and light headed in turn losing his focus on the battle at hand. In an example of pure speed and strength, Guiron pulls the blade out from under the foot of Kong and quickly swings back down driving what is left of his blade deep into the muscular calf of Kong’s right leg. Guiron’s blade easily cuts clear through the tissues of his leg until it hits Kong’s thick tibia. The cut severs the main artery and several important muscles and nerves of Kong’s leg, causing him to collapse to the ground in an instant. Kong screams with pain from the horrific pain from the blade ripping through his flesh. Guiron rips the blood-covered blade out of Kong’s leg and quickly rolls to his feet. Kong suddenly swings his arm backwards, smashing his fist into Guiron’s swollen jaw. The power of the hit on Guiron’s already cracked jawbone cause it to shatter, fragmenting many small pieces of bone into Guiron’s flesh. Guiron lets of a muffled cry of pain from his swollen and disfigured mouth as Kong’s hit jars Guiron backwards.
Kong raises to his knees and beings to move toward Guiron the best he without the use of his right foot. He forces himself to crawl toward Guiron as fast as he can. Despite the terrible pain of having bone fragments protruding from his jaw Guiron is still able to notice Kong making is rather slow approach. Guiron starts to tense all of the muscles up in his powerful legs as he readies for a jump. The gray beast uses his powerful legs to throw himself forward and Kong intending to drive his blade into the chest of the ape. Kong however is ready this time and as he sees Guiron lunge toward him Kong quickly rolls to the right narrowly avoiding a possible gruesome end. Guiron flies right by Kong missing him with his broken but still very deadly blade by only a few feet. Kong swiftly recovers from his evasive roll with almost near perfection. Guiron on the other hand crashes into the ground very hard creating even more fissures in the already damaged island. Guiron slowly drags himself to his feet and tries to turn him self around as fast as he can. Kong however is already rushing himself over to his opponent taking advantage of Guiron’s less than fast turning speed. Guiron not fully turned around suddenly feels something of great weight smash onto his back causing his legs to lock up. The extra weight however is too much for Guiron to bear and his legs give out causing him to crashes to the ground. The great weight on Guiron’s back makes is so heavy that it is restricting his airflow causing him to wheeze as he gasps for air. On top of which blood begins to flow from the corner of Guiron’s mouth as the weight of Kong has caused some terrible damage to his innards.
Kong jumps off of the back of Guiron and quickly flips the kaiju over on its back. With Guiron still trying to recover from the lack of air and being on his back he is defenseless. Kong takes this as a possible opportunity to first this, he forces his right arm up and begins to unleash a barrage of left and right punches onto Guiron’s soft underbelly. Guiron lets out shrieks of pain and begins to cough up blood as Kong's blows bruise and batter the insides of this helpless creature. Guiron's eyes being to roll back into his head and he suddenly loses consciousness, a steady stream of blood continues to flow from the creature’s mouth. Kong halts his assault, assuming that the beast is dead he gently nudges the creature’s head and there is no movement from Guiron. He then begins to move its legs but they all fall limp. Kong slowly pushes himself to his knees and begins to crawl away from the corpse. As Kong moves away from the beast, Guiron's eyes slowly roll back down toward their correct position. Guiron being a very simple creature was still smart enough to fool by simply playing possum. Guiron begins to roll itself side to side in and attempt to return to its feet. After only a surprisingly short 15 seconds the beast was back on his feet and as mad as ever. Kong slowly pulls himself toward the water to tend to his wounds, being exhausted and having lost a tremendous amount of blood he is very unaware that his foe is still alive and coming up behind him. Guiron quietly positions himself to make sure that his next attack won’t miss; he begins to put his strength into his back legs. With the power of his mighty legs he throws himself forward aiming to take out Kong once and for all. Kong, still unaware, trudges forward on his knees, oblivious to what is about to happen. He suddenly hears a crash behind him and the ground shake. Before Kong can turn around to see what has caused all of the noise he feels a terrible pain shoot through his lower left leg. Kong lets out a very loud scream of pain as he arches his back and then begins to fall forward. Kong holds out his left arm to stop his face from smashing into the ground. After he stops himself he raises himself up to look back only to see Guiron behind him and as for what is causing all of the pain he sees that the bottom half of his lower left leg is completely gone, nothing remains but a bloody stump. Kong looks back up to see a very enraged Guiron with his blade covered in the primate’s blood.
Kong falls forward again onto his left arm, he remains like that staring down at the ground knowing that any chance of him winning is lost, he is at the mercy of this ruthless blood thirsty beast. With his right arm damaged beyond repair and both of his legs useless even if there was some way for him to win this fight he would bleed to death, die of infection or be killed by some other kaiju being as he would have no real way to defend himself. Even as things are, Kong refuses to beg for his life he has too much pride to do that. With what little strength Kong has left he slowly turns around toward Guiron and rises to his knees. Kong all bloody and beaten stands there and stares directly at Guiron, he has decided that he will die an honorable death and take his fate head on. Guiron slowly raises his broken blade into the sky and swings down, cutting Kong’s left arm off at the shoulder. Kong buckles over and cries out in pain, as his arm begins to twitch on the ground as if it were still attached. Despite the pain Kong straightens out his back and continues to stand on his knees awaiting his inevitable end. Guiron begins to laugh taking some kind of enjoyment in his twisted form of torture. Guiron suddenly stops chuckling to himself and begins to raise him blade one more time. Guiron brings his blade down right on top of Kong’s head splitting it in two, although due to Guiron's weakened state he only goes do to the base of Kong's neck. Guiron starts pulling his blade out as blood cascades down his blade and his face he slowly backs out of the bloody remains on Kong. Kong’s body goes limp and slowly falls backwards crashing onto the ground. The battle is finally over with the badly beaten Guiron the victor. Guiron slowly drags himself off to the other side of the island away from Kong’s corpse. As he crosses by the hole from which he emerged his legs become very weak and they give out from fatigue and loss of blood from internal bleeding. Unable to keep his balance he begins to tip side ways and he slowly tumbles over into the dark opening in which he came from. Guiron tries to bring himself to his legs but he is exhausted and cannot manage enough strength to bring himself to his feet. Unable to move he begins to lose consciousness from his exhaustion and lack of blood. However due to the massive amount of damage to Guiron’s structure he slips into a very deep coma.
Sometime during Guiron’s long sleep the opening of the chasm where he now rests closed up, sealing Guiron away from the world. As for Kong his body slowly decomposed until nothing remained, never revealing the fate of King Kong to any one. As for the island, all of the trees that where eaten or destroyed grew back and all of the islands inhabitants continue to go about there little lives as thought nothing happened. The only indication that anything took place on this island is a few fissures in the island, but I guess even then no one would really know. That is unless you seen the island before this battle occurred.
