Why Marysville, Washington is Awesome
Okay. So I live in a small city called Marysville. It's about 40 minutes north of Seattle and it's totally awesome. Seriously. Like, every day at school, it smells like Parmesian cheese, and then I get hungry. And everyone owns a gun. EVERYONE.
Anyone else's thoughts or questions on/for Marysville?

Woah, that's crazy. Yes, Marysville is awesome. I especially like the Ninjistu training that's required to graduate. I have some mad ninja skills now. If anyone has some questions, go ahead and ask. I'm sure Trauma and I will answer them to the best of our abilities.

This is a great topic! Mind if I suggest it around our town, the paper, etc.? Actually, it's things like this that really make a place neat for real, not all that "economic development" blue sky/statistics BS where we never see anything one can actually relate to.
But a school that smells like Parmesan cheese?! I usually think they are more along the lines of chalk dust, floor wax, disinfectant and musty lockers full of grungy gym clothes!
There's a plant in Osceola called CREATIVE FOODS that makes... food that is packaged for a TON of name brands, companies and restaurants. They do margarine, ranch dressing, nacho cheese, stuff with a tomato base and garlic and who knows what all else! It's probably hard to imagine several railroad tank cars at a time pulled up there but they do. They did peanut butter at their other facility out at the old air base also, and other test market things. I guess if the prototypes go over, they'll produce truckloads at a time. Surprisingly, the place doesn't smell bad at all IMO, maybe because of the garlic.
I believe about six years ago, they changed their name and adopted their logo to include a LEAF. A little confusing unless you think about it. And no, their stuff IS NOT Soylent Green!

Nah. Marysville is SOOOOO awesome, that instead of being built with an inclosed highschool, it's all open with indidual buildings and built next to cow pastures, hence the smell.
Oh yeah. Our town is near the meth capitol of the world (Granite Falls according to Rolling Stone Magazine). So it's a great retreat if you're into that sort of thng.

Marysville is the land of opportunity, and of Slurpees. Apperantly of Godzilla and Ninjas as well.
And, if i may add, we are building a M-mecha Zilla. Nicknamed "Tommy". haha.
