Enterprise Vs Imperial Star Destroyer

I know not about anti-matter and such things, but I do know that Star Destroyers are effectively covered with turbo-laser batteries. We're talking basically continuous firepower being rained on the Enterprise. Lots of continuous firepower.

And every TIE fighter that the Enterprise has to take time to shoot down is that much firepower that can not be directed at the Star Destroyer.

I don't see tie fighters being much of a threat. If lasers aren't very effective against the Enterprise's shields, singular tie fighters are not going to do anything. Also, the Enterprise can fire its phasers in pretty much any directing, even while in flight. With out shields, the phasers would destroy them. The Star Destroyer won't be able to hit the Enterprise exponentially, because it will be in flight, and her shields will protect her. The Enterprise has powerful phasers and torpedoes at its disposal, which would cause some signifigant damage.

I'd agree if we were talking about the Eclipse or Executor super star destroyers. But when we say "Imperial Star Destroyer," we're talking about an Imperator-class, which is a little longer than a Romulan Warbird. And we all know that the Imperators can't pull the kind of maneuvers a Warbird can, not to mention that the Enterprise has taken down its fair share of Warbirds. An Imperator is nooo problem. As for Eclipse? Well, thats a different story.

ST and SW have vastly different definitions of the word "laser." The SW version of the laser is essetially a scaled up version of the "blaster," the standard weapon in that continuity. Really, they behave more like bursts of plasma than our (and Trek's) idea of the laser.

Don´t know how accurate these numbers are (somewhere on the page it´s mentioned to be official numbers) but according to them the SW universe has a huge advantage. Also SW ships are a lot faster than ST ships (not sure about fighting speed).....while ST has 1 galaxy (or how they call it) the SW universe is much bigger..... and for instance travelling from the outer rim to the core of the SW galaxy would be impossible for ST ships.... And that is the Empire vs Federation, not Star Trek U vs Star Wars U. (And they still ignored some facets of Federation technology).

Those numbers might be right, close, or way off, but it seems that (suprise suprise) biased from the beginning, ignoring anything that the Federation has. It isn't all about who is faster or has bigger guns, but who has better tactics, ETC.

Of course, that might just be because they are focusing on seemingly just the Enterprise D. (Hello, the E, while not as well liked, is ALOT more powerful).

And they ignored that Species 1472 DOES have a planet destroyer attack...

Or that the Scimitar could wipe out ALOT of Star Destroyers by itself.
