Death Ghidorah's beams....sharp?

I know this may sound very vague, but I was watching ROM the other day and noticed that when Death Ghidorah's beams hit the ground, or Mothra, there were like points at the end. I compared it to Space Godzilla's corona beam, and it looks very much alike. Could that signify that DG's beams have sharp properties somewhat similar to SG's?

I recall reading one of Angurius55's posts and he mentioned something about SG's beam and it being mostly composed of heat, and that that is what makes it a beam with cutting abilities. If it is heat the allows a beam to possess that ability, then maybe DG does possess that ability. His beams are as hot if not hotter than lava. Also, there is a scene where DG shoots the ground in ROM and the beams litterally tear the ground apart.

i dont know, prehaps the figure of the beam has nothing to do with its power, or maybe not. To tell you the truth i have no idea
