Voltron on DVD

I don't know if its the complete series or not, but it is one of the few anime that consistantly featured giant monsters. You may remember the five different colored robot lions that when combined formed the unstoppable might of Voltron to defend the universe from the evil King Zarkon, his sone Lotar, & their horde of giant monsters (or Robeast for you fans out there) created by the evil witch Hagar. 350 minutes (on three disks) of giant anime robot fun. Picked up the first volume and all I can say is WOW.

Media Blasters really went all out on this and the restoration is simply stunning. I remember watching Voltron when it originally aired and it didn't look this good back then, not to mention the 5.1 Dolby Surround is also a nice addition. I don't know if I have seen anything ever restored with this type of quality and care, it really is just amazing what they were able to do and the lengths that they went to.

If your a fan of Voltron or just robot cartoons in general do not miss the opportunity to pick this up, you will not be disappointed.
