The Beauty of the Night

This is a poem in dedication to Cyndi's Shezilla, I hope you love your late Christmas present, sister Cyndi!

It is in Godzilla's point of view.

"The Beauty of the Night" (Shezilla)

The sun fades in the west
Allowing the stars and moon to dawn
Slowly going to rest
Is a princess upon the ground....

Her eyes glisten in the moonlight
Like red-rimmed suns enchanting the sky
It gives me such insight
That it makes me want to fly!

My love, my love
Your heart comforts my dismay
Your charcoal skin is as beautiful as a dove
Your glorious eyes shows me my way.....

You are the heart that gives me life
The strength that aids me to protect you
You are such an angelic being
You cast all evil away from you....

When I hear your name
I hear a voice in song
The wildest beast it could tame
They would not be evil for long....

The moon glints off your skin
Lighting the dark abyss before me
Your eyes are far from dim
And that way, they shall always be...

The enchantess of the night
My angel from the heavens
Don't lose me in your sight
For we are in flight
In the moonlit heavens....

OMG that made me cry! But in a good way....*smothers Donny in hugs* Thanks, it's so gorgeous

This made me think of Music of the Night from The Phantom of the Opera.

Aww, it made me a little teary eyed when I wrote it! I'm glad you like it, it was straight from Godzilla's heart.

And she'd melt right into his arms in no time flat. She loves it when he gets all corny. I bet if she could read, she'd devour Harlequin romances or anything written by Danielle Steele. Especially since Godzilla has a clumsy knack for acting like the romantic hero in those books and sweeping her off her feet! XD
