Actually, I thought 'Godzilla at World's End' was the worst of the bunch, the rest are actually better than it, with Godzilla Returns being the most realistic and Godzilla vs the Robot Monsters being the most fun.

May I ask where these books can be bought? I have been searching, and Amazon has them, but some are a bit... overly priced. So... does anyone have a dealer [online] that may sell these books?

<font color='#000080'>'Godzilla at the World's End' was a great book! The kaiju battle were great, even if the plot was a little unbeleiveable.

<font color='#FF0000'>You can buy all the books at Waldenbooks or Barnes and Noble. They are excellent books, ecsepically for Godzilla books.

I have these books at home that I checked out from my local library. &nbsp;The only one I have read so far was Godzilla, King of the Monsters. &nbsp;It was an okay book. &nbsp;I have never seen the big G so happy at the end. &nbsp;It brings a tear to your eye to see him so happy

I agree. *It was going just fine...until Marc decided to skip a few months towards the end of the book and jump to the ending. *It felt as if he decided not to write three, maybe four chapters! Seriously, I went back a couple of times to make sure I hadn't accidentally skipped a chapter. *Then the ending...ugh...

After reading Godzilla Returns and Godzilla 2000, I was expecting MUCH better. *Luckily, Godzilla vs. The Robot Monsters made up for Godzilla At World's End. *Too bad they aren't going to release Godzilla and The Lost Continent... *

Hmmm, I was just thinking that that could have been intentional on Marc's part. He may have skipped a few chapters on purpose so that he could finish the book quick. That way he could have tried to get out the next one before they lost the rights to doing them, even tho that didnt happen. I'm sure its not like it would be the first time something like that happened.

<font color='#008080'>All four books are great, I especially like the way Godzilla is treated as an actual character. Godzilla at World's End is easily the worst, mostly because the enemy monsters were very under utilized (especially Hedorah), but its still an enjoyable book. I love the jabs at Blue Oyster Cult &amp; Jurassic Park in Godzilla 2000. I espacially enjoyed the whole Godzilla is for all Intents &amp; Purposes Indestructible thing, something that was hinted to in many of the movies but never actaully brought up to the forefront (except GMK &amp; G-1985). Godzilla 2000 is probably my favorite of the bunch, love the whole Kamakiras swarm side plot. It made for a really intense read. And was happy to see Ghidorah with a maurading ancient evil origin again, The only origin that really works for a monster of his stature. Also like all the monsters' entrances. Too bad its all over with now.

<font color='#0000FF'>Out of Print means out of Print, which in other words means rare, see one of my posts above....... Yes I just one ...... on Ebay. Thats your only chance.... unless you find some place that can trace down out of print books for an overlycharged price of 40-50 bucks. Just search on ebay dude

I've read a few of Marc Cerasini's Godzilla novels and they are top notch. Although I am mad at him for not releasing his other Godzilla book: Godzilla and the Lost Continent! I've been waiting for that for years but gave up on it.
His novels are full of human drama, monster action (although it is relatively short), and the origins of the monsters. The one thing I dislike about his books is that when the monsters appear, their time is very short as well as the monster fights. But oh well. Can't complain too much. I give Marc Cerasini a thumbs ups! &nbsp;

Hi Kent. I see you joined this September so you're new here. Reviews on monster books go under the Kaiju books and comics section.
&nbsp;But aside from that, I do like Cerasini's novels. They were all very good and well written. Also his knowledge of tech and such along with all the other details nake it feel so very good. One example is in the first one, Godzilla Returns. It takes place exclusivily in Japan and all the detail put into describing the place makes me feel like I'm there. Godzilla films are made in Japan so they leave a non Japanese sometimes misses those little things but Cerasini's narration pulls it off. In Godzilla vs the Robot Monsters, it wa a treat to see an evil Mecha-King Ghidora under the command of a &quot;mad dictator&quot; named Kulgan Khan. (Though I was as mad as all heck that I was never able to read Godzilla 2000, sequel to Godzilla Returns, regardless of how much it apeals to me. Strange how its giving me ideas for my own story.)
&nbsp; There are some faults in the books though. Namely that Godzilla doesn't appear in them as much as he should. Since they are his books and he is King of the Monsters, we should see him more. On your comment of it being rushed at times, that's true. On Barty's Temple of Godzilla, Barry S Goldberg complains that by having too many monsters, not enough attention is paid to each individual monster. Also in Godzilla at World's End I was dissapointed at how little time was given to Zoe Kemmering; so much could have been done with her. The lack of Toho characters was also bad, though I don't blame Cerasini.
&nbsp; As for Godzilla and the Lost Continent, I've heard that it never came out because Cerasini's contract with Toho expired by then, but seeing how it was included in the Official Godzilla Compendium, which he coauthored, it must mean that he missed by thiiiiiis much. He even had the basic story planned out, the monsters, the characters, and he even had some chapters ready. Alas, it was never made. Doubly sad seeing how trailer at the end of Godzilla vs the Robot Monsters speaks of a &quot;huge and terrible monster, immune to all the weapons of man....&quot; &nbsp;Oh well

That's all and have a nice day!

I heard that his contract with Toho expired by then and he didn't have the resources to renew it for one more book. Though if only he released it as a fanfic...
