The following was taken from Bloody-Disgusting.com
Moviehole writes, "Stampede Entertainment say there are plans for a Tremors 5.
"There have been a lot of rumors about Tremors 5 so here is the latest news. S.S. Wilson and Brent Maddock have a finished script. Whether it actually gets made depends, as always, on the success of Tremors 4", says a spokesperson for the studio via email.
The official site says roughly the same. "Well, in the envelope or not, here's where it stands: Brent Maddock and S.S Wilson are just finishing the script (March 2004). Whether it actually gets made depends, as always, on the success of Tremors 4. It's hard for movie companies to stop making sequels if people keep buyin'em!".
Apparently a problem facing the sales of "Tremors 4" is that some large stores have refused to carry it because they're not into carrying direct to DVD movies anymore."

<font color='#F52887'>I just saw the first four movies for the first time in the past few months. They were great. The first was really good but I liked the sequals also. I hope they make part 5. As long as it keps the same spirit.

I might watch Tremor 4 on On-Demand one day. Another Tremors movie would be good though since its one of the few American kaju that isn't bad.

<font color='#008080'>Tremors are the greatest. 1 & 2 are the two greatest movies ever. I have all of them on DVD. Tremors is on of the few things I love that most the rest of my family loves too. Here's a link to the production company, Stampede Entertainment's, official forum. There is currently a topic going, set up by the films creators, to find a name for the baby Graboids from Tremors 4. I really hope that they come out with a part 5. I wonder what Perfection will be in store for this time.

Tremors...the MOVIE series
I do say, I love this series. Besides the fact its my all time favorite American monster movie series and the Graboids kick ***.
Tremors 2...that was pretty good. It kept the thrill of the first and the Shriekers rocked.
Tremors 3...not the best or worse. Turning more into scifi, but the *** Blasters...were...original at that...
Tremors 4... AWESOME! My second favorite of the series, this does a GREAT job at mixing scifi and western...

Tremors-Second Best
Tremors 2:Aftershocks-Third Best
Termors 3: Back to Perfection-Fourth Best
Termors 4-First Best. The Dirt Demons are great.

Re: Tremors...the MOVIE series
I still need to see Tremors 4. Of the first three, Tremors is easily the best, and I enjoyed 3 much more than 2.

Tremors 3- Not bad, not bad. After the second one, this was a relief. Sad to see Miguel go, though. Good attempt at recapturing some of the feel of the first one.
Tremors 4- Eh. Only saw it once, and I was half-lit. Ergo, I'm reserving judgement. I don;t recall being too impressed, though.

Re: Tremors...the MOVIE series
I have yet to see 3 and 4. But my favorite is kind of a toss-up between the first and second. I did enjoy both very much and found the "above" Tremors in the second films made for a different experience that, I felt, worked. I guess I may have to go with the first film being the best but may go with the second one as my favorite.

Re: Tremors...the MOVIE series
Tremors 1: Bets of the best. Best writing, best acting, and the most thrill (the others kinda lost that, little by little).
Tremors 2: Pretty good. Nothing beats the original (of course), but this was all-in-all a pretty fun film.
Tremors 3: Erg... Not so good. It seemed a bit forced, way too much like a Sci-Fi original. And the ***-Blasters were terrible. Not the idea (flying Graboids!), just the creatures themselves. They looked like giant featherless ducks, and the flying looked terrible (how's it supposed to manuever like that without constant thrust, and look good doing it?!?). And why'd they go off and do a thing like kill Miguel like that..?
Tremors 4: Not bad, not bad. Pretty fun movie, and we get to see that the Graboids kick @$$ even when they're toddlers!

Re: Tremors...the MOVIE series
^I'm gonna have to go with him. I love Tremors of course, so do my dad & older sister. Tremors is the best, Tremors 2 my favorite, Tremors 3 the worst, and Tremors 4 good but not great. Some of the episodes of the series were better than Tremors 3. I also wasn't too happy with how they portrayed Mindy in T3. They made her pretty unlikable. Extraordinarily gorgeous, but unlikable. As Grady would say "Well of course, Stuff like this only happens in the middle of nowhere."

Tremors 5- Script done and awaiting to be made....
That's right Tremors fans from around the world, Tremors may be making yet another returning. The Ditch Digging Monsters, Heat Seaking Beasties, and *** Blasting *******s may be making yet another appearance. Being said by few sites, thats the script for Tremors 5 is done and awaiting to be made.
Heres to the follow up...again, and I sure as hell hope its more like the first, and make a return of Val and Earl.
This may not be official, but this is my source.

Heh. 1 and 2 were awesome. 3 was ok. 4 was pretty damn good. I can only imagine what 5 will/would be like.

Its not Hollywoods fault. Tremors continues because us fans want it to continue. If Hollywood had its way Tremors would have ended back with the first one. Fan demand is why Tremors stays. Hope Earl & Grady return for the fifth one. For more info go to the Official Tremors Forums. I'm a member there where I go by the name Benny_the_Graboid_Slayer.

The Tremors Franchise
Who else likes this series? Before I got into the Alien franchise these were my favorite movies after the orignal Star Wars movies, anyone else remember them? I say franchise because there was also the series (which I really enjoyed). Anyone?

Re: The Tremors Franchise
The first one is good. Not great, but fun to watch none the less. I seen Tremors 2 and 3... Oh god they are so bad... So very bad... It is another example of a series that gets too many sequels when one is good enough. I haven't seen any of them passed 3, but I don;t WANT to, or plan to.

Re: The Tremors Franchise
Tremors 1 & 2, tied for my favorite film of all time (I know the dialogue from both movies almost word for word). Though Tremors 3 was quite a dissappointment, I was so excited about it that the day it came out I got up at 7:00 in the morning and walked 2 miles to the video store, then I waited for an hour and a half for the place to open just to make sure I got a copy. Tremors 4 is a little better, hey at least they brought the animatronic Graboids back instead of the crappy GC ones from Tremors 3.
Oh a little piece of trivia for those interested: Did you know that Mindy from the Tremors movies is also Lex from the Jurassic Park movies?

Re: The Tremors Franchise
Loved the first one, 2nd one is kinda iffy, 3rd is just plain fun (specially the beginning ), 4th is "meh... coulda been better" and the series was a majorly mixed bag.
