Default Godzilla: Monster's Territory

Found this manga while surfing the net:

http://gaou1954.hp.infoseek.co.jp/

It's in Japanese, so that's a little bit of a problem. But, it's really good on the artwork. Now I just hope it gets translated.

If I am not mistaken that is a fanfic manga, the other Kaiju that is not Godzilla is named "Gravure". I found pics of him on a Japnese site a long time ago, maybe the artist/writer got it published?

and here I was hoping it was something new. After all, that dragon kinda looks like Balkzardan.

Fan-mangas, aka 'Doujin', are commonly published and sold in Japan, even without the copyright-holder's say-so. Some can be racey, but every now and then you get real gems like this one. It may not be official, but that doesn't make it any less entertaining, does it?

True...still though, it would have been cooler had it been offical, with many new monsters into my legendary list of such giant characters. The upright roach guy has a very cool design and compared to the real manga Toho puts out for Godzilla, the monsters are better drawn with nice expressions in their eyes and faces. A far cry from the typical anime / manga monster designs.

Yes, those kaiju are probably more awesome than some of the ones Toho made, especially the roach guy (I nicknamed him Megalon). Yeah, since they have no names, I nicknamed them after kaiju we are familiar with. Here's what a I nicknamed them:

Dragon thing = Balkzardan
Fish/frog = Deutalios (he looks like it from some art)
Birds = Ookondoru
Turtle = Kamoebas
Roach = Megalon
Mushroom things = Matango
That big lizard with spikes = I couldn't think of anything for that one..... I know there's one that I should call him, but I can't think of it........ what is that name?
