You picked the best dubbing in the Shinsei series. Now you will have to pick the worst dubbing in the Shinsei series!
Note: You need to pick ONE movie!

GXM. An awful lot of miscues and the wrong people to do certain characters in the film.

<font color='#FF00FF'>I've seen the dubbed version of these movies once and that's for a reason. After seeing G2000, the dubbing was just so horriable for any of these movies.

GMK hands down-- its English dubbing messed up plot points, subtle jokes, symbolism, and characterization. Kaneko hated what was done to his movie, while Masaaki Tezuka liked the dubbing of his movie GxM.

<font color='#FF7F00'>Of the ones on the list, I've seen GXM and GMK, and they were pretty much on par with each other. However, I say GMK. Because of the bad dubbing, the story was a little hard to follow for me.

<font color='#FF00FF'>I like the Japanese with english subtitles better. I can't stand most dubbing. but I liked Godzilla 2000's dubbing.

I don't care much for subtitles. It kinda annoys me. You are simultaneously trying to read the dialogue and watch the action. I just can't do that. It was hard enough for me to watch the interview with the SFX director of Gamera 3 with the subtitles. I just can't do it.

An argument like this is no different from what can be said about dubs. I've asked many people why they perfer it over a better, accuarate, translated version of a show or movie, and the arugment they use all the time is by far the most the overused of them all, the fact that it's in English.
I always say to myself ''So what, big deal if it's in a different language with those little English words to tell you what their saying''. I happen to find it a better way to present film from outside the US, then make a corny-*** dub that talks about something completely different, mix that with some lame jokes, horrible dialouge, and more useless things like crap edits, and you have a ''great'' dub deemed by many who complain about ''those little english words''. However, dubs can be good, if there made properly.

Eh, my biggest gripe about subs is that it's annoying, for me anyways, to read the dialogue and to try to watch the action at the same time. Also the dialogue in some movies with subs can get all screwed up as well.

Not if it's translated properly, also I can't see how it's ''distracting'' especially when your a quarter way from the screen. Unless your zooming your face on the television set.
