Playlists
What the title says. Not just Playlist.com stuff, but anything else similar like iTunes qualifies.
Anyway, my Playlist:
http://view.playlist.com/12281070091
Though heavily dominated by Rammstein and System of a Down, I'm surprised at how much variety there is my list. Billy Idol, Fleetwood Mac, Zeromancer, Ace of Base, Nightwish, Eisbrecher...yeah, some of ya might be surprised at a few of the entries that pop-up on it.

Re: Playlists
I have quite a few different playlists in iTunes, for when I'm feeling in the mood for a certain music 'theme.' Some people would call them excessive, but really, they all have a use at some point or another (except the "Best Of" lists, but they might be useful someday - who knows?). Most of them speak for themselves:
Best of Megadeth
Best of Metallica
Best of Slayer
Deathmatch
DOOM-like Music
Fantastic Music [fantasy-themed/-sounding music]
****ING RAGE
Futuristic
iPod Mix
Nothing but DOOM [originals, covers, etc. of the DOOM games' music]
Novel stuff [oh shi--]
Slow stuff
SUPAA HAPPY FUN TIME
Weird & Dark
Winter music

Re: Playlists
I don't really pick favourites, if I'm in the mood for something, I listen to it, but I generally use my entire music folder as a playlist and manually select anything I want if I change my mind and want something more specific.

Re: Playlists
I've got a number of playlists, and my big thing is never having the same artist twice in a row, and usually trying to alternate between loud and soft, slow and fast, or something of the like. My mom, who has her own iPod, has been popping my playlists in one at a time, and absolutely loves them. I pretty much earned my musical taste from her, and so half the songs are from bands I picked up from her, and the other half are ones I've discovered recently that she now likes. It feels good.
