Re: Some Sprite Comics
I read the older sprites again earlier today. They're hilarious...I would like to see more!
How long do they take to make, out of curiosity? I admire the humor you inject into them...pretty witty.

Sometimes about an hour or two... sometimes more because of revisions to the jokes, trying to find the right backgrounds, and whatnot.

Re: Some Sprite Comics
Well here's a new one. This one took a while, due to backgrounds, and trying to refine the joke better.
This time poking fun at a scene in "Godzilla vs. Megalon" and the weird off-screen physics that were apparently involved.
EDIT: Decided to make a few changes to this comic. Hope it's good.

Re: Some Sprite Comics
Heads up, made a new version of the above comic. Didn't like how it flowed, and felt it could used some refinement. Hope it works better.

Re: Some Sprite Comics
Bit of a spin on Marvel's "Fear Itself" ads. Not exactly funny... like... at all.
Tried to think of what Godzilla might fear happening...

Re: Some Sprite Comics
Thanks for the kind words everyone, glad you've been enjoying them.
Here's a new one. Finally got Battle Legends to work, thus have access to new sprites and backgrounds. Thank god, cause I was looking for new backgrounds.
Yes, your eyes do no decieve... that IS MegaroGoji.

Re: Some Sprite Comics
Nice. I was wondering when somebody else would get the game to work.
As a game, how do you like it? Its certainly not as in depth as the SNES game, but it does what it needs to. Honestly, since its much more faithful to the movies, I like it better than the newer games like Melee.

It has a more limited moveset sadly, (as compared to the SNES game), nor any "power-up super attacks" that's really the only true downside to it. Has some nicer backgrounds in some spots, though not so nice ones in other spots. Biggest examples are the ones for Gigan and Megalon, which look almost horrendous. One really awesome BG is the one shown during the fight with the Super-X2.
And the bigger cast certainly helps.
Gonna try and make sprite sheets for the different Godzilla incarnations.

Re: Some Sprite Comics
Finally got off my *** and made a new sprite comic. This one dealing with Godzilla and Great Cthulhu.
All done in good fun and for the sake of comedy. Hope you enjoy.

Castlevania Symphony of the Night... was a ***** to cobble it together because the lame brain who made the sheet decided to divide it all up into individual pieces (arms, heads, etc.)... e_e *grumbles* so alot of it was touch and go.
Edited a whole bunch together to make the "KO'd Cthulhu" sprite
