The orginal mechagodzilla was the perfect goji killer,it did something right control wise...
Instead of being in total control of the aliens, they gust(sp?) told it what to do and it did its own way.
While the Heisi versions was totally controled by the humans.

But the aliens could overide mechagodzilla for flying, and emergenceys.
This I belive would be the perfect control system,mech-G does what he does best, while the aliens just monitor ammo, and damage.
But If you think differently...

I agree with you. MechaGodzilla was made specifically for fighting Godzilla. All three MechaGodzillas were built following attacks by Godzilla, so the builders were able to find his weaknesses. That way, they could make MechaGodzilla an even better kaiju killing machine.

And I agree. This is what makes Mechani-Kong weak. It was built for mining (which it STILL failed at, lol), though it was used for fighting Kong.

Grand Godzilla, Kiryu was piloted from the Shirasagi jets, except in the final battle, in which Akane Yashiro (the main character) actually entered the machine after it sustained a lot of damage from Godzilla.

Mecha-Godzilla has one flaw in the end Godzilla will never truly die. Though the Mecha may put up a big fight in the end it will lose against Godzilla. Yet Mecha-Godzilla is the perfect weapon for taken over the world, thats why Im building one for myself. Did I type that out loud. Looks around innocently.

I think Mecha-Godzilla is a perfect G killing weapon. But like all other machines it lacks one important feature. The fighting spirit, and will to survive that only living creatures have. If Mecha-Godzilla had a spirit, I believe it just might be able to kill goji. But thats just me

<font color='#8D38C9'>But don't forget the human interference in the control room.Mecha Godzilla was winning until the humans fried the control panel, then it was over.
But if K.C. was never summoned,he would have been able to &quot;Focouss&quot; on godzilla coming,K.C. was just a destraction,if mech-g cought godzilla in a fire storm alone it would have been Bye Bye Goji.

I kinda agree with you there, and I kinda don't.

For the attack on the control pannel, it didn't really matter. The actual attack on it by the doctor and the others happened after Godzilla be-headed Mechagodzilla. The controls messed up because of Godzilla's magnitation. So really the control panel thing had barely any effect on the outcome of the battle.

Seesar didn't too much as a distraction. Only once did Mechagodzilla fire at him while Godzilla was around *not counting the all-weapons-assault* And even he did that, it didn't matter who he focused it on, they were right next to each other, so still Godzilla would've taken all the pain. But really, the all-weapons-assault in the first movie seemed to have really bad aim. Not once did an eye or chest beast him them head on, only the ground around them. Even the missles and bullets barely hit them. Then Godzilla charged in, got beaten around, magnitized himself, pulled him in and let Seesar do some ramming before be-heading Mecha Godzilla. He didn't even need Seesar to ram him, he could've just riped his head off right there.

I like Seesar and he's cool, but really for that fight he was just there. Godzilla could've killed Mechagodzilla on his own.

<font color='#FF0000'>In that case, almost every Kaiju Goji have ever fought have been pests. King Ghidorah, Destoroyah, Spacegodzilla, Gigan, Megalon, Hedorah, the list goes ever on.
Saying a Kaiju is weak just because it got defeated by Godzilla is a kind of faulty logic. That makes about every Godzilla Kaiju but Mothra and King Kong weak, which is not the case.

I agree. King Ceaser was a distraction ... kinda. Without KC Goji would be the main target. With KC in the battle MG had two things to focus on and that made Godzilla win. But the point is that GODZILLA WON IN THE END!!!!

He didn't get close to winning until he turned into a magnet... If it wasn't for that move, Mechagodzilla could well have killed Goji, afterall, he was one of few kaiju to draw blood out of Godzilla. In the Heisei series, he managed to kill Godzilla. If it hadn't been for Rodan, then the Heisei world would be destroyed by Spacegodzilla and Destoroyah. I don't know about Kiryu, but the other two MGs came close or suceeded in defeating Godzilla.

Okay lets check the arsinal(sp?)
Duel Eye Lasers.
Missles in knees,fingers,toes.
2 kinds of Missles,none explosive,and explosive.
Cutting laser in chest.
Flight

Now things that Mechagodzilla COULD do.
Crushing jaws.
Stabing fingers
Could possibly use fingers as drill.
There is also a strange hole on the end of MechaGodzillas tail.

That would be one of the three flight thrusters (like Heisei MOGERA), IIRC.

If Godzilla had not turned him self into a magnet then there would be NO Godzilla to day. Also, if the humans did not mess up the controll panel, then the Monkeys could have just grabed MG, and put his head back on.

Kiryu is as useless as a bullet-riddled life jacket. If the JSDF built anarmy of MechaGodzilla IIs, they'd stomp G ino nothing.
And that is the basic flaw of the superweapon strategy of the JSDF:expecting one death blow from one super weapon to fry G. SAy, if a thousand MechaGodzilla IIs attacked G at once, G would be toast.

Showa mechagodzilla rules out as the best mechagodzilla there is. Heisei mechagodzilla comes second while Kiryu comes third.
